“We made it back to Long Island after 6 years. So much has changed but not Cieslak's Modern Bakery. It has been our favorite for years and still is the best. Everything from their rolls, breads, cakes, donuts and other goodies are absolute delicious. All of their goods are super fresh and baked to perfection and the cakes are pretty as a picture. We had to put in an order for our return to Texas including our daughters favorites. We left with 3 boxes full of goodies. Crumb buns, raisin buns, and bear claws. We would've ordered more but there was no place to put it. Buttered rolls for our trip to the airport. One of our carry ons was our package from Cieslak's. Everything was fresh when we arrived in Texas and was demolished within 2 days. Thanks, Eileen and team! Cieslak's is a wonderful family owned business!“

“Great food and service.Sometimes it takes a bit to full understand my order (I don’t like milk in my coffee), and a tiny lil bag, like a finger-full, of hash browns is almost $2 (!?) nowadays but I still come here all the time for breakfast and coffee and the occasional quart of ice cream to take home. You would expect a lot of these desserts to be very heavy but they actually are not crazy. Everything is just flavored perfectly you would thing a brownie crammed with a rainbow cookie would be very rich surprisingly it was just right. They really hit it out of the park with everything. My only wish is that you could get smaller portions of the regular cookies I didn't feel like shelling oit $20 for a pound while I was already trying all this other stuff. Maybe a half pound option or make like an uncut brick of tricolor cookies.“

“Got my baby shower deserts here. I asked my friend to pick them all up. We went to the shop in person before ordering. Ambiance is nice very cute but I wish they have a restroom. Service is good but to order for my party, I had to contact them thru instagram. All the food items I got were great. I also ordered some customized baby shower themed cookies which are $4.50 each.“

“First time here wanted to know what the hype was about, got a 4 pack.2 chocolate chip... good though chips didn't taste like semi sweet, they were sweet.1 donut.... good...tasted just like a melted donut1 brownie, good.They are good cookies, limited on base choice as the others selections are toppings on the base.Crunchy on the edges, top, bottom and moist in the center. Very addictive.They hold up well in the freezer and can be eaten straight from the freezer as it doesn't turn into a brick.It's a 5 dollar cookie which is too expensive to enjoy frequently.Parking: Its located in a strip mall“

“An unfortunately overlooked gem right in the middle of deer park. Charming, cozy, and straight up delicious, this cafe has the right stuff to give the cafe chains a run for their money.Immediately upon walking in, my partner and I were greeted warmly, as they insisted we try their award winning gelato. The wide spread of homemade unique flavors made deciding a difficult but happy struggle. The fresh espresso coffee and pastries were simply delightful.Should our stomachs be allowed, we would have eaten everything. We look forward to returning and trying something new.“

“Really cool! Lots of options and is open super late. Went in at 9 pm and they had so many options even late at night. This is the only barley I know open until midnight or late. Got the chocolate dipped cheesecake, good quality cheesecake, I do wish the chocolate it was dipped became more of a shell but it was super good and rich.“

“Some of the best cookies I ever tasted. Me and some work colleagues accidentally walked a mile to the factory instead of the actual cookie store on accident. instead of turning us around the owner came out, gave us a tour of the factory and gave us cookies and a story about how they got started. One of the few places you will find the sort of almond croissant you desire. Parking is small so careful with how you enter/exit. If you have not yet stopped into this bakery, it is small but mighty! “Great place with great pastry options! Went there at the end of a Sunday for a coffee and pastry and I was pleasantly surprised. The croissant filled pistachio cream was delicious as well as the apricot and almond bar! The monte cristo sandwich was ok, would not order again. Not so Easy to find these days and often awful, especially the super dry undercooked doughy bagel bakery or supermarket variety. I am pleased to report that Zuckers Hamentashen are superb! “I ordered a Barbie themed cake and gluten free cupcakes for my daughter's 5th bday and the flavors were incredible! The Barbie cake was strawberry cake with strawberry buttercream filling with vanilla frosting while the gluten-free cupcakes, which I refuse to share with anyone, were a chocolate cupcake with cannoli filling and almond frosting. “Vins is a great mom and pop bakery owned by the same family that owned the best ever bakery. A few years back, the son vin took over and vamped it up a little.They offer some delicious cakes, pasties, and baked goods. The seven layer and mouse cakes are our favorite.They also have some great coffee at a nice price.They have monthly specials that feature certain cakes, loafs, and coffee.Everyone who works here is super nice and helpful.Overall, it's a nice wholesome bakery to try if you're in the area.“

“This was my second visit to this adorable shop. The displays are always filled with delightful treats and an amazing variety. Last time, we sampled one of each of their macarons. Perfection. From the feet on the macarons to the light but flavorful fillings, we knew we had to return for more treats. This visit the macaron shelf was filled with small individual cakes. We could not resist. We tried the carrot cake and red velvet cakes and I opted for a black and white cookie as well. Service was fast and the ladies at this shop are very amicable. I appreciate and value good service and this location is top notch. The store is clean and they have a drink station also. We will most definitely be coming back again. I just have to try the spritz cookies. I would like to perhaps get an assortment to try one of each.“

“Great little greek bakery. They also have packaged items from Greece and frozen foods. I took my 90 year old mother there, and the 2 women working in the store were super friendly and helpful. We found many items that aren't readily available in most stores. The baked goods were excellent, we bought baklava, galatobureko, spanakopita and tiropita. I recommend all of them. Again, the women working there were very friendly and helpful, beautiful on the outside and on the inside. My mother was very happy that we stopped at this place. Thank you for a great experience.“

“I live in Florida and was recently talking to my brother how you can’t get good crumb cake here. Entenmans is garbage and he told me about Brooklyn delight. I placed an order for four crumb cakes cakes and 12 muffins. Needed to try the crumb cake, Could not wait until the morning.I will say I’m New York City born and raised and have gotten great product from local bakeries for many years while living up there. This crumb cake is the very best I have ever had, haven’t tried the muffins yet but I’m hoping they be as good. Can’t get a good corn muffin down here so I’ll keeping my fingers crossed. I was concerned about the packaging and shipping. They did an absolutely great job. No damage to the product at all.“

Definitely spacious as one walks in to look and select pastries, cakes, sandwiches, drinks they wish to purchase and either dine in or take out. Cakes are nice and cream is light and not heavy. If you need a cake with writing, need to pre-order at least 2 days in advance for pickup. Mochi donuts are delicious and good to share, along with the pastries. They have seasonal specials and special promos for PB members who have signed up and use the app. PB reward members earn points with the app for every purchase so don't forget to scan. And if redeeming rewards, only one reward can be redeemed at a time.“

“Europian way to make pastries, bread and cookies. Amazing taste of chocolate and fruits cakes. We took three different cakes to try and all three were good. One of them was legendary “drunk sour cherry” with cherries soaked in cognac and thick layer of chocolate on a top. Such a great combination! The second was with the layer of raspberries in jelly. Mild and slightly sour taste of raspberries makes you think that it’s still summer outside. The third one was plain soft cake with whipped cream and mix of berries and fruits: kiwi, blackberries, oranges, raspberries, strawberries and grapes. You will love it. Believe me. Delicious cake! We didn’t stop on cakes and took two different loaves of bread. One with seeds and the other one with onions and olives. It smells and tastes like authentic Italian bread. I was really excited to find this bakery on my trip to Long Island. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They give you chance to taste a piece of bread to figure out if you want it. My best recommendations to everyone who is looking for sweets and a good quality of bread.“

The almojabana was just perfection: crispy on the outside but soft and so cheesy on the inside. The empanadas were super tasty too: packed filling of potato and meat. The sweet pastries (got pineapple and guava) were standard but not as amazing as the savory goods.“
