“Came here on a Tuesday night with a party of five and had nothing but pleasant surprises from the time we got there. Starting with the atmosphere, very cute place, on the smaller side, but I like it that way. Lighting, music level, and music choice were all on point, if you wanted to talk to friends, you could very easily do so and plenty well lit so you can see each other. They also have a cute little photo booth in case that tickles your fancy. Drink menu is pretty diverse, especially if you love an Old Fashioned as much as I do, they have a bunch of different options, I went for the Canadian which was very tasty. Food was great too, for apps we tried the ricotta toast, French fries, humus, corn bread and roasted carrots, all were good but I think the corn bread stole the show for me. It comes with a jalapeño butter to embrace the savory side of more southern style cornbread. For the main course I had the chopped cheese, and any bodega owner I think would be proud to have this sandwich, tasty and the perfect portion. Not to mention prices for everything seemed totally reasonable. One of the biggest appeals though, staff was very friendly and kind and never made us feel rushed. Parking is pretty easy, there is a municipal lot just down the block that has plenty of spaces, along with street parking. “Finally got to eat there for St. Patrick’s day, the food was amazing could have had more corned beef for 30 dollars, but, it was delicious, my wife’s Sheperds pie was huge and she said the best, used to go to Lily Flanagans, no more. “Awesome brewery with a family-friendly feeling to it. This was the last stop of the day for me after hitting a few other breweries. The beers were really good and there were a good amount of styles to choose from. Everyone there was having a good time. They had a big fluffy golden doodle running around who was awesome. I also like that the sampler glasses were little beakers. I'll be back for sure.”

Their menu was a little limited for basic fair. I had spaghetti and meat balls, and several others had cheese ravioli.Parking: Their small parking lot was full, and apparently it appears to be full most of the time. Several of us had difficulty parking across the street on a busy highway. But it is located on waterfront.”

“The food was absolutely great. I had the Bakuto pork ramen and it was absolutely delicious, flavorful and rich broth and tender pork. I particularly liked the mushrooms included in the ramen. My friend had the spicy cold noodles which were also tasty. The service was great, we did have some issues with the waiter mishearing us, ordered chicken bun but got a shrimp bun, but the waiter was quick to comp us for the shrimp and put in the order for the chicken bun. Both buns were good but the chicken was better than the shrimp. The dumpling were solid but nothing special. A nice atmosphere, there was a mini Spock photo hidden in a tea cup which was cute. A great restaurant for a nice dinner!”

“Came in on a tuesday night. Had a friend in town for a few nights so we got together for dinner and drinks . Riptides did not disappoint in any aspects . “1st time here. Walked in to an extremely clean environment. We were greeted immediately by a lovely woman. Sat at a hightop table outside the bar area. Drinks were amazing. Food was amazing and service was spot on. When the bar filled up the cook came out and helped with the tables. Luann the bartender/ server/ Manager came back to check if we needed anything quite often. Prices were reasonable, service was top notch. Amazing job. We will be back and we will spread the word that this business definitely cares.Parking: Parked on street. 3 hour limit but overstayed the time with no penalty.”

“My daughter and I have been doing our every Friday mother and daughter since COVID. We started with outdoor dining and when the inside finally opened up we ran inside! Our server, Kim, was sweet and kind. Remembered our order after the first time we had her. I was able to design my very own burger and she got it right every time. As the Fridays passed, as the months and years passed we become friends. Birthdays celebrated, accomplishments cheered, grieving our losses comforted. We love Applebees Lindenhurst, NY and we love Kim and the whole Applebees Lindenhurst Family!”

“I had this place saved for a while on my Yelp, but kept pushing it off because of the little amount of reviews/ images. But we decided to try it out the other day... Parking lot is in the back y'all! Took us a minute to find it. When we walked in we were a bit skeptical because the restaurant was empty (in the sit down section of the restaurant) and only a couple ppl by the bar area. But we went ahead and ordered... & LET ME TELL YOUUUUUUU we were pleasantly surprised! The food was one of THE BEST PERUVIAN food I've had since we moved out to Long Island! We had chaufa rice, rotisserie chicken, Jalea and a pitcher of sangria! No complaints at all with the food! It did take a little while to come out but it was totally worth it! The staff was also very nice and attentive. We will definitely be back!”

“Came here on a Sunday night for dinner with a decent sized party and had no problem getting a reservation and a table. To start with service, I think Gabriella was the name of our waitress and she was as sweet as could be! Great service all around, was able to answer any questions, was attentive, and even great with the kids with us. It's hard to pick just one thing on the menu when everything sounds as good as it does, but alas here I am. For appetizers we got wings, onion rings and potato pancakes, with the potato pancakes being the star of the trio. You also get pretzel rolls complimentary, and they are a game changer, I could come here for just those! For a main I got the chicken stroganoff and I've had the Jaeger schnitzel previously, both are delicious but I think the schnitzel edges out as the winner by a small hair. Also tried a small taste of the double chocolate cake, and although it's quite rich, it really is a delicious cake. The atmosphere is about as authentic rustic German as it gets, and during the holidays they have all kinds of fanfare too. Parking right out front is limited to the street on busy wellwood, but you can also park in the back where there are a few municipal lots nearby which are much easier to get in and out of. “Small and intimate location. Waiter was kind and very attentive. The back room is cold regardless of the extra heaters (some were not on) they have out, so bundle up a bit. Food was also good and came out quickly. However, we were asked to move inside at some point in the night. You’re probably better off sitting in first part of this location. The only thing that I didn’t appreciate was that they do not inform you on the receipt that gratuity was already added in if you have a party larger than 6 or spend at least $100 on your tab. (It is only mentioned on the menu, people can easily glance over this.) So at the end of the night you only receive the check. It is not itemized nor do they mention again that gratuity is already added. And they have a line for an additional tip. (Shady in my opinion) Overall, it was an enjoyable experience for all of us.”
