“Me and my husband drove past this place a few times and never went in.. My husband finally stopped in and got some food. He said it was really clean and the time he went it wasn’t busy. I must say I was shocked by the quality of food. The food was really good and you get a lot for your money. For about $70 you can feed about 5 ppl. The cornbread was sweet, reminded me of cake!! Their bbq sauce was really good, nothing like I’ve ever had before. The chili, and mac n cheese was great! Oooh! The baked beans, that’s our fav!!The chicken and ribs were cooked to perfection!! I will say the only down side for me, it was too much of a smoked flavor (I’m not a smoked type of person) BUT it was still delicious!! My husband and father in law loved it a lot. With this place, when you want bbq! that’s exactly what you get. My husband also said when he went in to place the order, there was a guy named Joe there. Joe was very hospitable! Told him everything he needed to know about the restaurant and even suggested what to get! OOOHH!! He even gave him samples before he purchased. Joe also told him that they make the food on the spot, which is amazing and VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!! Thank you for the great food! We will be ordering again!!“

“Went with about 15 people. We sat at the bar. Tara the bartender was awesome and made great drinks. Food was really good. We spent a lot of money but not one buy back at the bar. When a group is spending over 1,000 to eat and drink it would be nice if you bought back a couple of drinks. Nice atmosphere“

They were running a BOGO free deal on a few items, so I decided to order two of the Hawaiian Grilled Chicken Poke Bowl. The chicken itself wasn't anything special, and was a bit tough if anything. However, the rest of the toppings were pretty good. It was a satisfying meal and seemed healthy overall.“

“I own a home in Kentucky and we also spend lots of time in Nashville. Smoking Al's has the absolute best BBQ than any and all of the places we ate, in either state. No, Smoking Als isn't fast food. The meat is smoked overnight. It is fall off the bone tender, and dripping with BBQ goodness. They also have dry rub, and the natural smoke flavor that can only be achieved with long slow authentic smoke from actual wood. Not the bottles smoke that all other BBQ places use. The prices reflect the portions. I have yet to see anyone leaving without huge bags of leftovers. It is the best joke to see everyone carrying the bright red bags of leftovers all through the parking lot that serves 4 other restauraunts. Yet, only Smoking Al's is represented in the doggie bag brigade! There isn't one mediocre item on the menue. Even the collard greens, which I usually hate, are delicate and flavorful, with a delicious tangy flavor. I do t want to say too much more. It is hard enough to get a parking spot. So, I had to resort to going in the late afternoon. I rather enjoy a calm easy atmospere with ample time to savor the meal. I find it funny to listen to the soft mmmmm's Yummm's and wow's. My only problem with the place is it isn't another one in Nashville or Kentucky.“

“I ordered from here on doordash. Waited over an hour. No food. This restaurant called me and told me that no one has come and no one is waiting for the food like doordash said. They took the time to reach out to inform me that my food was waiting. Not only did they do that, but remade the food because we said we would come to get it personally. The food here is always amazing. The open steak sandwich is top tier. The burgers are juicy and tasty. And the salmon is delicious. Amazing food mixed with phenomenal etiquette. You can't beat it. The charsi goat karahi wasnt that good honestly but Im really used to home cooked food so that might be a big reason. The tikka boti, malai boti, seekh kababs were amazing.
