“Hilltop catered our wedding this past Saturday for over 200 people and it was absolutely incredible!!! We knew from our tasting that Hilltop was our winner! Everything was amazing; the display, the service, the ease and speed of the buffet and most importantly the food!!! We had people coming up to us all night raving about how this was the best food they have ever had at a wedding and people called and sent texts the next day still raving! Crystal is amazing and went above and beyond to ensure that we had a perfect celebration! We cannot thank Hilltop enough for helping us have the wedding of our dreams!”

“We always enjoy our trips to Shamus. We enjoy everything about the experience. Very pleasant people and excellent background music. My fish and chips was very good and they had no problem with a substitution. My wife ordered twin filets. We've found many restaurants are using tenderizer on their meat. No so here. The filets were outstanding. While there, we ordered the beef with Stout gravy to take out. It's been excellent at the restaurant, but the takeout was just marginal. The gravy was milky and the flavor rather bland. Hopefully they haven't changed the recipe from the rich brown stout gravy. That's the only reason the food didn't get five stars. WE aren't really dessert people, but in the past we've had no complaints on that front. Shamus is our home away from home for a great meal with really nice atmosphere.”

“Stopped in for lunch on a Wednesday when burgers are discounted. I got a Breakfast at Tiffany’s burger which hit the spot. Not the best burger in the world, but still a good burger. Fries were good and the beer was even better. Great service and nice atmosphere.”

“Spring Lake Winery was such an AMAZING experience!! I planned our wedding from Michigan and they were with me every step of the way. I cannot express how positive my experience was and how amazingly helpful the staff has been the entire time! They are literally the most responsive business I have ever worked with -- from emails to phone calls to answering every little tiny question I had, they were always so willing to help and offer input and make our wedding absolutely perfect. On our wedding day we had the NICEST catering staff and literally the most amazing bartenders. My husband and I are absolutely thrilled with our experience, and even though I'm all the way in Michigan, I have recommended them nonstop and had so many good things to say! I appreciate Spring Lake SO much for helping to make our day perfect!”

“We stopped here on a wine tour for a 40th birthday. Honeymoon Trail Winery was very hospitable to our group and took good care of us. This place was cozy and offered tastings along with some cheese dip samples. They had a ton of beautiful baskets made that you could buy for holiday gifts. They were doing a raffle as well that you could enter if you purchased a basket. The year also has some delicious smelling corn chowder for sale in the other room. The wines I tasted were not bad. A lot of their offering were more sweet. I did enjoy trying the drier ones because that is my preference. I enjoyed trying a new winery.”

“Visited with a good friend for the first time. The cinnamon French toast latte? Delicious! I can’t recall the name of my breakfast however the house smoked sausage? Highly recommend. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the gluten free toast, from another local favorite, fabulous! The house made jam was so delicious I had to stop myself from licking the container it came in! We both tried the hash browns…OMG! I am excited to try more menu items in the near future!”

“Our family visits Tater Cakes on a regular basis and everything we have gotten is consistently good! The cupcake flavors rotate weekly and there is never a bad flavor! The brownies and cookie bars are our personal favorites. The cookies and cheesecakes are delicious and all the items are priced reasonably. There are also items like scones and homemade bread. If you are in the Lockport area I highly recommend this bakery!”

“The best ice cream place around! We drive 25-30 mins from the City of Tonawanda just to go there! The peanut butter and jelly parfait is my favorite menu item. It’s sweet, salty, and tangy! It is made with real strawberries. Highly recommended! My wife likes the peanut butter cup hurricane. Our son loves the Perry hard ice cream: particularly grasshopper pie. The last time we were there we asked for a cone on the side and they put waffle pieces in his cup of ice cream. They was really awesome of the guys working there <3 1000 percent recommend this ice cream shop!”

“I've enjoyed taking our children here throughout the years, especially when taking care of other errands in the Bewley Building. It always brings a smile to our day. Diane is so efficient and friendly. Just today, we discovered that she is our barber's mother-in-law! Sanitary Barbershop is another Lockport favorite, family- owned business, likewise, friendly and efficient. Cousin's Cafe's decor takes you back through the years. It's a walk down memory lane providing our children a taste of what life was like when my husband and I were growing up. Furthermore, I choose to buy gift certificates for others, so that I can pass the experience on to them. God bless!! Thanks for the memories!”

“I have been enjoying this par 3 golf course for years. The course is well maintained and a fun place to play. The owners and staff are exceptional! The food is always delicious and I am particularly fond of their Garlic Parmesan baked fish. There is a full bar and friendly bartenders where you can relax after golf on their beautiful patio. I highly recommend Gothic Hill Golf course.”

“This place is hidden in the little plaza. There was not enough signage, so I passed it more than once without notice. I ordered personal pan pizzas for the first time, and they were very good. Perfect for my family because everyone likes different toppings. So everyone got their own toppings. This was great. They offer the personal pan pizza $2 on Tuesday. Great way to taste the product.
I was surprised how good it was. It was filling too.”

“Very clean facility, business is going well based on the number of orders heading out on my way in. My pickup order was ready to go upon arrival. Chicken was on point! Sides were delicious ( corn bread, Mac and cheese, and potato salad). Bridget had a good flavor although needed to be cooked longer as it was tough. Pork was good as well.”
