“The food is always fresh & homemade; one of the few places in Long Beach, or anywhere, that makes coleslaw & other salads daily. I don't understand why people settle for salads that are delivered to a deli in 5 gallon stucco pails like Home Depot! I won't eat a sandwich on stale bread or covered with mass produced tasteless salads. Their roast beef is always rare & nicely seasoned to perfection ; they were made by the owner's mother! Their sandwiches arealways creative & named after everything from hockey to kings; if you want to add something just ask! You can call in an order & bring it to the beach or bay & enhance the experience; you can also have it delivered quickly to your home. It has been in the center of Long Beach for countless years & always cooks quality meals for the whole family.“
“This Deli has something no other deli has, which is imported cigars. Furthermore, they have a large selection considering they aren't a smoke shop. I even found a Cameroon cigar there and Cameroon cigars are hard to find. Even smoke shops have none or few Cameroon's. It was CAO Cameroon. I'll be going back there again soon.“
“Had to give this place 5 stars. ? ⭐ Family owned and operated. Staff was polite and friendly. I went for a breakfast sandwich. I got egg whites, turkey, and Swiss. Great sandwich. They didn't skimp on the meat. My wife had an egg white and vegetable wrap which was great. She ate half yesterday and the other half today. I don't live in the area but ill be back.“
“The hot Chopped Cheese hoagie is very, very good. The best that I have had on Long Island. Staff are kind and friendly. Open late; which is always great, but remember that it's in the West End of Long Beach, which has more locations serving booze into the wee hours than Burning Man, and so things can get dicey down on Beech Street after 10 pm. But the Chopped Cheese is worth it.“
