“Tavern 157 is an absolute gem! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by a cozy ambiance that perfectly balanced charm and sophistication.

Every dish was great. The attention to detail in both presentation and taste was evident. Pair that with their impressive drink selection--especially their sangria--and you have an evening to remember.

The service was top-notch as well. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and made fantastic recommendations. They made us feel like we were the only table in the house, even though the place was buzzing.

Tavern 157 is the perfect spot for a date night, a catch-up with friends, or just indulging in amazing food. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu. A true five-star experience!“

“My best friend lives in Queens so she and I come to the Onion Tree every other Friday night. I wish this place was closer to me. I live in Yonkers. The food is superb, seasoned extraordinarily. The chicken is fresh, soft and cut into small bites. I always order chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, or chicken tikka pizza. I have never had food that I enjoyed this much and I have tried all foods all over the world. I never get tired of this place. And the food is served quickly and piping hot. They’re opening a second place in Manhattan. We’re getting closer to Yonkers!! The drinks are awesome too. Barbra and Louis work behind the bar. They’re friendly and great bartenders.“

“This place is so aesthetic and the tea tastes absolutely amazing. Enjoyed this quaint establishment around 11pm. The Zhu Cha was a nice experience but only really worth it for the tea and if you are staying for a long time, which is what it was intended for. The snacks are distinguishable and unfortunately not very suitable for the tea we chose. Not sure it was worth $60+ dollars for tea and $2 snacks.“

The food was delicious, especially the Grilled Pork Belly.It was so flavorful and definitely a must-try!I also tried the Nagasaki Seafood Casserole Soup, and it was amazing! The soup was rich and flavorful, packed with seafood goodness.I highly recommend it if you love seafood.One of the highlights of New Zurang is their karaoke room, which is spacious and a lot of fun. “I had a great experience. My friend and I are from KC and we wanted something authentic and savory. We decided to eat here and were extremely satisfied. Between the two of us we order shrimp and grits, chicken wing(Parmesan and Buffalo), chicken and waffles, lobster Mac and cheese, and fried eggs. Everything was prepared to order and the bottomless mimosa is a great value.“

“Amazing! First, there was free valet parking which is a necessity in this area. Second, we dined in a room that was quiet enough to carry on a conversation even though the room was crowded. No background music to add to noise was a plus. We have not been to a restaurant this quite in any of the cities we have travelled in YEARS!! The appetizers and dinners were wonderful and compared favorably to a well known restaurant in NYC that we had dined in the previous week. The wait staff was attentive although the kitchen was a little slow. The only minus was that I had arranged for a birthday surprise (not sure what that was but you could request it when you made reservations) and was even reminded by the owner and staff when we arrived that it would forthcoming. It never appeared.

Parking: Valet parking at night is in the LIRR parking lot across from the restaurant. The restaurant will valid your parking receipt.“

“The Bar tenders and the owner are always very hospitable and welcoming- even to newcomers. It is a quintessential community institution - where even if you are new to the village, you will be made to feel at home! All are welcomed - there are board games and always sports on multiple TVs- I have been coming to this establishment through several different owners and name changes- but the current owner is the best by far!“

“The owner shows love when he is not busy, not everyone in the restaurant can speak english but the menu is written in english. I traveled to the Dominican Republic & Colombia. I'm big on chofan de pollo (Spanish/Chinese fried rice with chicken) theirs version is pretty good.“

“Was only in Queens for one night this past weekend, but I absolutely LOVED this spot! It totally reminded me of my favorite neighborhood watering holes at home. Mary and Ian were awesome, the beer was cold, and the Jameson was plentiful. Will definitely be back if I'm ever in the area again.“
