“I've come here a few times and am always very happy. Some of their donuts can be a bit too sweet for me but overall the highest quality donuts I've ever had. They also emphasize other local businesses and transparency in their food. I also like how clear they are about general food allergy policies. They change up the flavors pretty frequently, although with the variety you always find something to eat. I highly recommend the apple fritter, lavender vanilla, New York cream, and almond joy. We also tried the Arnold Palmer which was a bit too tart but a very interesting combination (iced tea and lemonade)Their other specialty of the day was a dirt donut with chocolate pudding filling and cookie crumble/gummy worms on top. Loved the concept but the filling was a touch too sweet. Regardless, this is an excellent establishment and you can tell a lot of love goes into the food. There is a nearby parking lot around the corner. No indoor seating but about four seats at two tables just outside their door.Vegetarian options: Vegan menuDietary restrictions: They are very clear on food allergies and their ingredients on their websiteKid-friendliness: Lots of options that kids can enjoy“

“This place was awesome for lunch! We got there shortly after opening and got a prime table on the patio against the windows. The view is spectacular. Our server, Derlin, was excellent and explained the ordering process. We got a handful of tacos and the plantains. The plantains were outstanding and so was the cilantro aioli they came with. The best tacos were the korean bbq short rib, hv pork belly (more or a spare rib), general tso's, shrimp po boy special and portobello. The chicken, chorizo and filet mignon were just ok, I'd skip those next time. Can't wait to come back when we are back in the area!“

“Overall, the experience there was absolutely wonderful the staff, including the wine connoisseur who help me understand about a new way of making Pino Noir, was friendly and very knowledgeable. Per the waiter, the chef recommended serving our lamb, medium rare however, when I received my mail, it was cooked more of a medium well. I also felt when ordering a dessert cocktail should've been informed it was cold rather than hot. It was delicious, but just a little surprising that it came as a cool beverage as opposed to what I believe to be a hot beverage. Still a wonderful evening and would always recommend to anyone coming to the Hudson Valley to try to see this amazing facility“

“I have been to this place twice with my friends, and we all love this restaurant in beacon. The food is fresh and delicious, there’s something about the water they offer at that restaurant that’s just so good and unforgettable. I loved my food, so did my friends, the wait wasn’t too bad. Overall, great service and affordable price range.“

“The reviews on yelp for APIZZA are mixed and the bad ones seem to be mostly about price. Sure it's a little pricey but not really, and they give you a giant pizza which doesn't suck. I really liked their pizza and so did my family which includes some smallish kids. We also ordered meatballs which were solid, and a house salad which was also very good. I was greeted by someone in the pizza oven area as well as the front counter and everyone was happy and nice. I waited for my to go food and had the Italian margarita while checking out the action in the kitchen. Omg, that drink was so delicious, and to top it off the pizza chef throws every dough in the air! Mama Mia!“

“Great burger, great appetizers and a slew of fantastic drinks. There seem to be more staff and folks tending the bar that I seem to remember over the last couple of years but there's nothing wrong with that. For the locals the wherehouse is definitely a comfortable place to go, a great place to hang out on the weekends especially in the summer. Tons of parking around the area and lots of other little things to go and see as well on Liberty street. But with the live music and the good food you can spend a couple hours here without a problem.“

“WOW!!First of all ONE OF THE KINDEST MEN greets you, warm smile friendly tone of voice. Even a little story about the flavours you are about to taste. He even offers FREE HOT TEA!Now it isn't the prettiest of places BUT forget about that. I got the Chicken Kabob Wrap, it hangs on a roaster. He slices your portion from the chicken as you watch. Offered to taste before ordering. Now I had zero ideas why I went here, and am glad I did. This is the most flavourful wrap EVER!Ooh the music sets the tone of sitting someplace other than Poughkeepsie NY. Gives a nice sense of charm about the space.“

“I stopped here to get a light lunch and for a rest stop during a road trip. Although the listing makes it seem like a food court, it is actually a single ordering counter that offers coffees and a variety of prepared food items. I wanted something light, so I tried the empanadas with chimichurri. Although the portion size was good, the filling tasted like "sloppy Joe" meat, and the sauce was sweet. The restaurant has ample indoor seating, and a nice outdoor deck. Parking is limited, and I was lucky to arrive before the lunchtime crowd.“

“I happened upon this bakery during a quick trip to Beacon and had no idea it was an entirely gluten free (plus dairy free/vegan) in many other respects. I am not gluten free, but my sister has a severe gluten allergy (not celiac) so I have been very involved in recreating recipes for her and tasting and trying many things over many years.I ordered a mushroom & ricotta tart, and couldn’t resist the chocolate cupcake with strawberrry/raspberry frosting. As I ate the tart, I could not believe it was gluten free. I was dumbfounded. The pastry was flaky with so many layers and DELICIOUS. How COULD this be gluten-free?!I personally am not a fan of most cupcakes - they tend to be dry, overly sweet with godawful American buttercream, and heavy. Not only was this the best gluten free cupcake I’ve ever had, it was THE BEST CUPCAKE I’VE EATEN IN MY LIFE! And I’ve eaten a lot of cupcakes in my life. Truly. I live an hour away from Beacon, but I would make the trip just to eat at this bakery and take a hell of a lot home for later to put in my freezer. So delicious I can’t stop taking or thinking about this place! My friend who is opening a business in Kingston NY (Kingston Social!) needed a source for gluten free options for her cafe and I immediately recommended this place! Best gluten free options I’ve ever had. I’m in love - just wish it was closer!Dietary restrictions: Fully gluten-free, vegan & dairy-free options tooKid-friendliness: Yummy treats like brownies and cupcakes“
“Despite all the restaurant competition in Beacon, this place is still a stand out. Nice venue to see some of the old time greats. Food was absolutely fantastic, but they seem a little short on the front end. Not enough staff. But if you have a little patience you have a wonderful meal.“

“Absolutely delicious sandwiches and paninis. At first I thought things were a bit expensive but when we received our food I was very pleased with the portions. The actual place is a bit cramped and we came during busy lunch hour so there was a wait, plus it crowds by he counter. There wasn't really space inside to eat but they do have a few tables outside. The food overall was slightly oversalted but nonetheless very high quality. The cashier also was friendly and professional. I would highly recommend.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian paninis and sandwiches, can take off cheese if you needParking: Have to browse around nearby for available residential parkingKid-friendliness: Lots of menu options for kids“

“This is a wonderful place to eat!! We were visiting the area, and wanted a place that was somewhat unique. It was perfect!!! The atmosphere, music, and the food was delicious!! I had the scallops, and my husband had the pasta carbonara. Both were exceptional. Our server was attentive and kind. He made great recommendations. Finally, the owner made an effort to say hello, and check that all was well. What else can I say…it was the perfect date night experience.“

“I work at the DMV in Beacon and we had our holiday party catered by the Beacon Daily. The food was delicious! Everything was hot and portions were plentiful. The bang bang cauliflower not too spicy and was a big hit! And the Big Mac tater tots was another fun appetizer that was overloaded with all the trimmings. We also added chicken sandwiches and the portions were huge and very tasty. We highly recommend this establishment and would not hesitate to order again.“

“From the moment I walked into here, I was hit with this electric energy that just pumped me up! This place is a whole vibe, a mood, an experience waiting to happen. And let me tell you about the art on the walls... created by the talented artist #Rob Mounier, it adds such a colorful and unique touch to the space. Each piece is a burst of creativity that perfectly complements the vibrant energy of the lounge. Now, I consider myself a bit of a coffee connoisseur, always on the lookout for unique and artistic coffee shops, and 2 Alices did not disappoint. While I didn't get a chance to try the food (bummer, I know), I did treat myself to a latte with rose syrup that was absolutely divine! So, if you're looking for a coffee experience that's as vibrant as it is delicious, make your way to 2 Alices Coffee Lounge. It's the perfect spot to rock out with your coffee cup in hand!“

“I've lived in the area for 23 years. Pizza places have come and gone in that time without leaving an impression. Pizza and Stuff is honestly the best tasting pizza I've had in a while. I am outside their normal delivery range (have to order thru Doordash if I want delivery) but I will 1000% order from them once a week and pick it up on the way home. Their pizza tastes great and their staff are always friendly and welcoming. The storefront might be a bit small, but it's homey and comfortable. You can never go wrong ordering from these guys. I highly recommend them, even over much closer pizza parlors.Dietary restrictions: Able to accommodate gluten free and veganWheelchair accessibility: Door is directly accessible from the street level“

“Excellent local casual restaurant. We’ve only been here twice in the past five years, mostly recently March 2024. This past visit we had the steak cafe salad, which was delicious. We also split the garlic bread, which was a very smart inventive take on it, cubing the pieces which made it much more enjoyable of a bite rather than ripping apart or gnawing away at a big loaf. Service was friendly and timely. Cute place and nice atmosphere. Nicely located by the restaurants and shops.“
“We had an excellent al-la-carte dinner here on Sunday. The standout was the roasted half chicken -- shocking tender and juicy, with crispy roast potatoes and a delicious complex asparagus-caper sauce. The tempura scallops were also very nice. For such delicious food and large portions, reasonably priced too. Highly recommend.“

“What's not to love? This Wappingers spot is right in town, they serve up tasty food, quality beverages, and the staff will treat you well. The bar is quite nice, and definitely clean. Even better, when it's nice outside, there's an adorable back deck that's perfect for sipping a cider, or one of their serious selection of craft beers on tap. There are also cocktails available, but they seem to truly care about the tap selection. Right now they've got a 16% ABV stout out of Brooklyn on tap, which is downright dangerous. This seems like the rare bar that not only fries things well, but it also cares about the rest of its menu too. No one is ever sad about bang bang shrimp and chicken fingers and fries (we order like adults around here), but the salads are very solid as well. There are even vegetarian and vegan options for your friends who aren't quite as meaty (technical term). And that's all I have to say about that.“

“A cozy small candy/ice cream shop, with rare candy, is how I describe this place. I do enjoy when places branch out to have rare candy not found anywhere but the internet, plus have their own brand of sweet delights. Got a few treats here, to go since it was not crowded when I was here. Honestly the stuff I got was incredible and I will definitely have try here again to try the ice cream and more of chocolate selection.“
