“First time here and wow! I wish I lived closer to this restaurant. Comfy atmosphere, right next to a pretty scenic waterfall too.Friendly service, great food and fast.Super clean bathroom. Easy parking Excellent all around. Highly recommend.“
“My first time here. A couple of friends who’ve visited establishment numerous had treated us to dinner here. Nice looking place! I am loving and digging that chef statue they have near the entrance. Brings back some fond memories of being a chef and cook who had worked in several of food establishments! I had the 12 ounce burger with French fries and American cheese. Burger was cooked to perfection well done. Fries had good flavor. Sampling the onion rings and salad for appetizers while awaiting main course. Waitress Maddie and her assistant I didn’t get the gentleman’s name they both provided excellent service!! Very attentive and thorough with any questions we had about the foods we ordered. Food was excellent I enjoyed everything! Had a blast! I don’t eat out often much anymore but this was a great treat and experience! Rest of company also ordered burgers and was happy with everything! Yeehaw! Hoorah!?“
“We went looking for a gluten free lunch and they had a great menu strictly for celiacs. The place smelled like heaven and the food was great. The people were very friendly too. All in all highly recommendDietary restrictions: They had a gluten free and vegan menu.“
“Love this place. Clean and very fast service. I stop every time I pass it on business trips.. I always send picture of front to my family and they are always jealous I am getting to eat there. I always get two quarts of matzo ball soup to take home for the family and they love it. Awesome place!“
“Great burger, great appetizers and a slew of fantastic drinks. There seem to be more staff and folks tending the bar that I seem to remember over the last couple of years but there's nothing wrong with that. For the locals the wherehouse is definitely a comfortable place to go, a great place to hang out on the weekends especially in the summer. Tons of parking around the area and lots of other little things to go and see as well on Liberty street. But with the live music and the good food you can spend a couple hours here without a problem.“
“If you are looking for a Great sandwich for a more then reasonable price, you have found your place. The sandwich selection is full of great options, and you won't be disappointed. The Cuban has been my go-to for a quick weekend lunch option. The staff is attentive and friendly, and one gentlemen calls me young man, even though I am sure that I am older then him which leads me to an extensional crisis while I eat my Cuban. I hope that this joint can survive in our sweet little town full of Teeny boppers and hopeless hipsters. Do yourself a favor and grab a sandwich from this place before our only option is a mutant meat sandwich from Amazon grown in a laboratory for 2$ a month for eternity.“
“I work for Madison Square Garden and deal with Customers all night long. Bobbie Sue is the kind of person I want on my team. Not only is she pleasant and professional, but she acknowledged us while being super busy. I am a picky person and always request substitutions. Bobbi Sue was patient and extremely accommodating. The best service I have had in a while. I live 40 minutes away and I will come back just to see her.“
“It does not look as cool on the outside as it actually is on the inside. Highly recommend.Atmosphere: the ceiling is covered in records, and the walls are covered in music posters and guitarsVibe: while you wait for your food, a magician comes to your table and entertains you with cool card tricksFood: they really do have 30 different types of burgers! I had the Gwar Burger which was a double patty burger with pulled pork, delicious! My friend had the Yard Burger (or something like that) which was one patty and one friend chicken patty with lettuc and tomatoa and he really enjoyed it. I also got sweet potato fries as a side, top tier!Other: they serve ice cream in a major way. Like there's a whole old timey vibe ice cream shop as you enter. There's also a music novelty and memorabilia store attached to the sit down restaurant. If you're really good at Pacman you could win a free burger and fries!“
“What an amazing place. Selected it as a venue for a gathering of friends as an upstate/downstate geo midpoint. Food was unbelievably amazing (ordered off appetizer menu, late night menu, but the whole menu looked great), hosts Russ & Helga were warm welcoming and friendly, live music from Ethan Levy was perfect, every server and bartender were top notch. We will definitely be back. This is a rare Hudson Valley jewel that I am so glad we found.“
“Given that our dinner was at a premier culinary school my lamb was very disappointing. I specifically told our server that I wanted it medium rare but he stated that the could only serve it medium which I agreed to. When it came out it was more than well done and dry. Even the server recognized this. I sent it back. We raise lamb and would hope it is prepared in a way that consumers enjoy this an alternative to other meat. The key is a proper preparation. If someone had not had lamb before, they would probably not order it again if this is the dish they were presented.“
“Best Restaurant Ever! Top 5 of all time! We had lunch there today- everything was delicious! Smoked Brisket, sausage, pulled pork, awesome Mac & Cheese, Baked Beans. Great food & service. Friendly, helpful Staff. So much food and fun. We all took to go boxes Even in pouring rain the view and atmosphere was terrific. We will be back!“
“Our experience was pleasant. The food was delicious and presented exceptionally. Appetizers and main dishes were served hot and great presentation. Drinks were perfect as well as the dessert choices. Dessert, coffee and after meal drinks just added to the whole meal and dining experience. Definitely will recommend and return soon.“
“I stopped here to get a light lunch and for a rest stop during a road trip. Although the listing makes it seem like a food court, it is actually a single ordering counter that offers coffees and a variety of prepared food items. I wanted something light, so I tried the empanadas with chimichurri. Although the portion size was good, the filling tasted like "sloppy Joe" meat, and the sauce was sweet. The restaurant has ample indoor seating, and a nice outdoor deck. Parking is limited, and I was lucky to arrive before the lunchtime crowd.“
“I came here relatively late on a Friday night. I had a ticket back home on the Metro-North and I didn't want to miss my train, but I also wanted to grab something to eat. The restaurant staff were very helpful in getting me a bacon burger to go. The burger was fairly greasy. It would've been nice if they included a plastic fork for the coleslaw. Overall, they came in clutch.“
“Little long time gem hidden on Broadway, & I always wanted to stop in for a cheese burger. They were all very pleasant, the cheeseburger was delish,& what I liked best is that is not pre-made. All burgers & hot dogs are made while you watch them cooking. Great place to visit!“
“On our way down Main Street, we were drawn into Reserva from the live music playing inside. We changed our plans and decided to grab a bite here. The menu is pretty limited, as it is a wine bar. But the food was very good. The croissants melted in your mouth! The quiche was absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh. I was disappointed that they do not offer pão de queijo on Sundays.“
“Great atmosphere and attentive, weight staff, but the best was the food. The menu has lot of choices. The prices are good, and the food both presentation and taste was outstanding.Dietary restrictions: We are also vegetarian, and they have enough variety there.Parking: Parking is easy and surrounds the building“
“Love working with Bryce & his dedicated team during special events! I am a professional photographer and every time I’ve worked at Novellas I’ve been nothing but comfortable, excited, and warmly welcomed by all staff!Everyone is dedicated to make operations run smoothly and Bryce is fantastic to coordinate with. Every time I have concerns about lighting or need updates throughout the night, Bryce always has an answer, a solution, a smile on his face. Thank you for creating a great environment for both guests & vendors. We appreciate all your hard work together at Novellas! Can’t wait for more events together in the future.“
“My mother in law and I went to Beacon to celebrate our birthdays and chose the diner for our lunch. They have a wide selection of food on the menu. I had the farmers breakfast wrap and home fries. Mom had her eggs and lox. We didn't see it on the menu but asked the waitress if it was available and she said sure. We were very happy with the service, quality of the food and the prices.Wheelchair accessibility: It's a small diner with a ramp for a wheelchair, walker and stroller accessibility. I didn't walk around much through the interior as we were seated next to the entrance. I cannot verify the comfort level of spacing throughout the restaurant. The bathroom was accessible.“
“Despite all the restaurant competition in Beacon, this place is still a stand out. Nice venue to see some of the old time greats. Food was absolutely fantastic, but they seem a little short on the front end. Not enough staff. But if you have a little patience you have a wonderful meal.“
“My fave vegan spot in New Paltz. Food is delish and staff is delightful. Puppy friendly with indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of GF optionsVegetarian options: Everything is veganDietary restrictions: In addition to being all vegan, there are lots of GF options, and everything la elements and adjustable so you can avoid nuts, seeds wtc.Kid-friendliness: Totally kid friendly“
“Came in for the first time after work to grab dinner. My takeout order was ready in minutes. They brought the food out to my car where I was waiting. And the food was phenomenal! I cleaned my plate. The pulled pork sandwich was tender and delicious. The coleslaw was perfect. Even the cornbread was moist. There weren't any leftovers. But I'll be back.“
“This place is incredible! We have been there several times and absolutely love the food! The surf and turf is the best I have ever had!! The portions are huge and the atmosphere is perfect and cozy and the service is impeccable! You need to check this place out!“
“I work at the DMV in Beacon and we had our holiday party catered by the Beacon Daily. The food was delicious! Everything was hot and portions were plentiful. The bang bang cauliflower not too spicy and was a big hit! And the Big Mac tater tots was another fun appetizer that was overloaded with all the trimmings. We also added chicken sandwiches and the portions were huge and very tasty. We highly recommend this establishment and would not hesitate to order again.“
“My husband and I made the first reservation on this past Saturday. We are so impressed with how aesthetically beautiful, quaint, and comfortable the restaurant is. We loved Monica's service. We met the owners who were so kind. The meals were excellent. I've never tasted a better au gratin potato. The filet mignon was superb. My husband and I don't go out often because we're introverts but this place is now "our place."Parking: Parking will take you directly to the entrance to the tavern.“
“Only took off 1 star because there's nothing on tap. Pizza is homemade from scratch in a proper pizza oven and DELICIOUS! Service is friendly and feels like home in the best of ways. Karaoke Thursday nights 7-10 PM, kind host and supportive, enthusiastic crowd!Parking: No spots in the small lot? Park next to the fence all along the block!“
“Excellent local casual restaurant. We’ve only been here twice in the past five years, mostly recently March 2024. This past visit we had the steak cafe salad, which was delicious. We also split the garlic bread, which was a very smart inventive take on it, cubing the pieces which made it much more enjoyable of a bite rather than ripping apart or gnawing away at a big loaf. Service was friendly and timely. Cute place and nice atmosphere. Nicely located by the restaurants and shops.“
“This is the best restaurant in Beacon! The food is always amazing, and I really love their creativity. Every month or so the menu changes and they develop incredible new dishes around a different type of cuisine or theme. Staff is super nice too - vibe is always perfect. Also, Bree is an incredible bartender. Can’t recommend her cocktails enough!Vegetarian options: If you tell them you’re vegetarian ahead of time they will prepare vegetarian versions in place of each meat course.Dietary restrictions: They’ve happily accommodated requests for vegetarian food or eliminating a certain ingredient due to a food aversion. Really appreciate that so that everyone can enjoy the pre-fixe menu.“
“Visited for the first time yesterday for dinner and we Loved it so much that we're going again today, even after reading those reviews ? Our experience was awesome ? Great food and great service. BLT was delicious, gyros were great as well. Party of 10 and we're all heading there now ?“
“Management, service, food quality and value were all excellent. I made a note that we were there for my mother's birthday which was automatically acknowledged upon arrival and throughout the evening. Most importantly my mother thoroughly enjoyed her experience.“
“A really nice coffee shop off the beaten path in New Paltz. They have a good menu with all your typical drinks with some seasonal specials. I highly recommend the amaretto and campfire specials. They served baked goods and food and both are fresh and tasty. It is a smaller space with limited seating. I personally love the back porch. It is a bit colder outside, but the view makes it worth it. Service is decently paced unless it's Uber busy, then it could be a bit slower, but it's not anything too extremely long. Staff are quite friendly. Would recommend“
“Monday night Prime Rib was amazing. Im a salt-o-holic i didn't need salt on my prime rib it was perfect when dipped in the sauce. Service well everyone knows everyone in the place a true local pub. But duper friendly staff. Felt like you could just belong here if you wanted to. Lots of cool decor!“
“Hands down my favorite place in New Paltz for lunch or dinner, dine-in or takeout. First-rate food, excellent preparation in a kitchen visible from the dining room and the best staff in the business. Cannot recommend Lola's Cafe New Paltz enough–five stars and A+“
“What's not to love? This Wappingers spot is right in town, they serve up tasty food, quality beverages, and the staff will treat you well. The bar is quite nice, and definitely clean. Even better, when it's nice outside, there's an adorable back deck that's perfect for sipping a cider, or one of their serious selection of craft beers on tap. There are also cocktails available, but they seem to truly care about the tap selection. Right now they've got a 16% ABV stout out of Brooklyn on tap, which is downright dangerous. This seems like the rare bar that not only fries things well, but it also cares about the rest of its menu too. No one is ever sad about bang bang shrimp and chicken fingers and fries (we order like adults around here), but the salads are very solid as well. There are even vegetarian and vegan options for your friends who aren't quite as meaty (technical term). And that's all I have to say about that.“
“All of it...Food, Service and Ambiance were excellent! Lady who waited on us was one of the best servers we've ever had, plus she was taking care of bar patrons at the same time. Food - lobster bisque, steamed clams, meatloaf and Philly steak sandwiches - all large portions and great flavor (altho the mac and cheese seemed out of a box). The pub itself was temp cool, interesting and comfortable. Just a lovely, local, great place to stop for a drink or a meal. And, prices were very reasonable.“
“DBC is so consistent with their amazing food and service that it makes it hard to go try other places when you know you will get consistency here. Great and tasty beer. Amazing burgers. So delicious fries! Appetizers all yummy. I came recently on a night with my wife and something that stood out for me that visit was when I watched one of the owners clearing a table. I made sure to make to tell them how admirable that was but so often you will see managers in other restaurants telling others to clean while they stand and watch them. The fact that the owners help out on the small tasks means how invested they are with their staff and business. We just asked my 4 year old last night what his favorite restaurant is and he said with confidence Dutchess Bier Cafe! Not sure if you’re aware but 4 year olds are picky eaters and he loves their burgers, fries, and makes sure that he can get the malt vinegar aioli! Thank you for being consistent but truly amazing!Kid-friendliness: My boys 4 and 7 love going and eating their Lil Dutchies!“
“The food at Anna's is always good, it's my favorite place in town for omelettes . The service is great, and there is always some delicious desert to take home for later. We enjoy supporting independent, family owned businesses in town and Anna's makes that easy to do!“
“Where have you been all my freaking life? So so very delicious and yumchilious! I had a French toast bagel, toasted with butter, egg and cheese. I had no idea that bagels could be made into such scrumptious flavors!!! This is definitely the new spot! Love ❤️ it mucho grande good!“
“Simple burger spot in Beacon - stopped by to eat a well deserved burger after a long hike. I got the single Dutch Burger ($11) and some fries ($3.50) to go. I loved all the veggies in the burger; lots of spring salad mix, tomatoes, slivered onions and lots of pickle slices. It was a pretty messy burger though, lots of water was on the bottom of my to-go container and the toppings kept on falling out. I thought the patty was a bit on the smaller side and the fries were way too soggy, but overall a decent spot!“
“'twas open Easter Sunday. Vegetable hash seemed to be expensive at $21, but was so good, we ordered second one. Baileys coffee at $12 was ok. Breve coffee was good, but the beans were overroasted (say, compared to Undeground Breve). Overall, good place, food, and Service. Only one restroom, always busy, but clean and great soap there.“
“Cute spot- definately Kozy! Good food and good service. One of the very few places with a simple classic dessert menu. (Yes its good- why mess with a good thing?) We had the apple crumble. This is right on Main street so parking can be a little funky. There are a few spaces in back though around the way. Highly recommended.UPDATE: Last visit was terrible. Party of 7. Waitresses were rude and grouchy. We all got the distinct impression they were under the influence of something. (One of our party is an expert on that sort of thing). Our party has decided not to come back any time soon. Get it together- this was extremely disappointing.“
“Dive bar in Highland, NY. It's worth the visit for sure. Hospitality is great as the owner Sal came around and greeted us. The waitress was on point. We got the wings, and these were your old school wings, meaty and flavorful. Definitely not the pigeon wings you get from some places. So yea, Sals place is absolutely worth the whiskey ?“
“Such a cute place in Newburgh for brunch! We love dining here. Great city vibe atmosphere and wonderful customer service. Frankly some of the best chicken and waffles I’ve ever had!!! These came off the menu but the manager was kind of enough to make sure we got to enjoy this dish again. Hopefully, this plate makes it back on the menu!!!“
“Milestone birthday choice for dinner. Did notdi$$apoint.Dietary restrictions: Read the menu before you go. The dishes do not lend to modification. As always inform the venue of any serious food allergies, call ahead.Parking: Direct parking and lot across the street. Handicapped parking directly in front. Newburgh has also seen fit to install meters now! Grrr.Kid-friendliness: This is NOT a venue for small children! This is a high-end restaurant. If your children are not well seasoned to dining out, it's not an option. There is nothing on the menu, nor should you spend that much money on something the child may not like. Nor is this venue appropriate for a child to play loud games on his cell phone and scream loudly at random.Wheelchair accessibility: Meets ADA compliance standards.“
“We happened to stop in on Easter Sunday without a reservation. Luckily enough we were able to sit at the bar, which was amazing. Luke, the bartender steered us in the right direction for food and their amble beer selection. Will not only be back but will tell anyone heading in that area to go.“
“Absolutely loved our dinner! The food was amazing, get the French onion soup you will not regret it. The cocktails are inspired and the ambiance lovely. The staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely come up a hit early so you can walk around the property and the farm.“
“Love this little bar. There's even a small balcony with a view to the Gunks, and a little raised bed of herbs that the bartender uses for drinks... so fresh lavender in your cocktail...be still my senses, only one at a time please! Service is always lovely and welcoming. If you like Bourbon, a cocktail called the "Bees Knees" is the way to go.“
“Service was good, workers were great which makes me feel so bad for what I am going to say next but the food was really not okay. It was not fresh and it was not good. The ambiance was amazing and the music and performers were great but the food needs to be upgraded like 5 notches. If you need suggestions get in touch!“
“Googled a good sports bar and this was the number one option. It's a indoor golf/whiskey bar more than a sports bar but drinks are good and cheap. The kitchen messed up my food order but it was still good so I won't knock any points off. The bartender and staff were super friendly and welcoming. I'll come back for sure.“
“The Falcon is an absolutely wonderful place. Not only is the venue itself great but so is the food, the atmosphere, the museum that they have, the staff, and the support that they offer to the artists that perform there is beyond stellar. The Falcon is well worth a stop.“
