“I had an issue with my room facing the open atrium area and the noise level from the bar extending past quiet hour. The front desk manager, Stephen, immediately addressed my concern and moved me to a room in a more desirable location. I also found the front desk and concierge lounge employees to be very friendly and helpful. My room service attendant, Holly, made sure my order was as specified and she delivered it with a smile!! I really appreciated her kind demeanor. I felt my business mattered to everyone I came in contact with at this Marriott property and would not hesitate staying here again when my travels bring me back to Long Island.“
“Very enjoyable diner in a fantastic location.I've been here countless times, and I'm always satisfied. The prices are decent, the service is always good, and the selection of yummy food is vast.My last time here, I got a Monte cristo sandwich. Great size and super tasty.I'll be back again. . .and again, and again.Parking: Good size lot.“
“Finally came here on a Friday night date night after driving past this restaurant hundreds of times! Nice setting with low lighting and not a loud environment where you can actually have a conversation at your table. Our waiter Gianni was superb.... start to finish he made sure everything was going well and took care of all our needs. We started with the sushi/sashimi special which was spectacular. Its presentation was as great as the taste! Porterhouse for two was just enough, and a little room leftover for dessert. Food was great, drinks were perfect and the ambience was nice. There was a DJ playing in the background which was nice and gave it a fun vibe. Overall I'll be back here as there were many other items on the menu we wanted to try.“
“Today was my first time there, rom the wonderful, extensive menu, friendly waitress we had a delightful lunch. The owner, Peter couldn't have been nicer. I will certainly return.Wheelchair accessibility: Very accommodating with a ramp inside to the lower level.“
“We tried brunch here for the first time because the menu looked good , and everything was delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice with nice pillows and comfortable seats. The menu for brunch had so many good options I changed my mind 3 times, but was talked into the Gruyère burger with an egg on it. It ended up being one of the best burgers I have had in a long time. The fries were good too. Everyone was very happy with their meals . The drinks were good and the tres leches bread pudding was out of this world. Our waitress was amazing she was helpful and extremely nice.Overall we had an amazing experience and will definitely be back to try some other options on the menu.“
“Food is great! Already been there a few times with my boyfriend. Definitely becoming one of our favorite places to go. We keep forgetting to take pictures of our food though ?. The hippie chicken is the best thing on their menu in my opinion. The owner John( I think that’s his name, I’m terrible with names though) is very nice, approachable, knowledgeable.“
“This restaurant is the greatest. The owner and he husband are extremely nice and their food is excellent. Our 2 year old always enjoys the food herself. They have an extensive menu and the dishes are made fresh after you order. The appetizers such as the baby octopus and shrimp wrapped in bacon are on another level. The picaña is also amazing. Most people who are there are regulars. Very relaxing atmosphere as well.“
“Amazing experience on a Saturday night. They put us front and center for the live pianist who was absolutely phenomenal. This is our new favorite spot in CSH without a doubt! The imported burrata was super fresh and tasteful a simple dish down right! The Cacio e Pepe for the main came with delicious Cajun chicken that was blackened perfectly. Can't wait to come back to this little gem in the heart of town.“
“I have really loved going there. The only complain would be the side salad. The Caesar dressing is awful and they have no ranch dressing. The steaks are good, but we are from Kansas City, so there's that. The meatloaf and other meals have been very good and we go on a fairly regular basis.“
“The food is delicious and quick. The decorations are cute. They decorate according to which holiday is next. The staff is very friendly. The restaurant is kid friendly. The best grilled cheese I've ever had. I dont know what the cook puts in the grilled cheese sandwich but its definately the best one Ive ever had in my life. Special treat is on Mondays, they have a gentleman that creates balloon characters for kids for free. Its definately family friendly and a true hidden gem in long island.“
“Made a reservation here for restaurant week. Apparently didn't need one. The place has its own parking lot with about a dozen spots. We entered the building which took us into the bar, which was bustling. The dining room was quaint, with some really nice booths and a fireplace that should have been lit. Our server was a good looking young man, pleasant, not overbearing with a sense of humor. We opted to include an additional appetizer of baked clams to our meal, along with the crab cake and winter salad, which I forgot to take photos of. My friend opted for the lamb chops while I had the branzino piccata. Yummy, although the menu never stated that the fish was served over a shrimp risotto. (I'm allergic to shrimp). Only 1 bone in the fish, so I was lucky. Our dessert consisted of tiramisu and rainbow cookie cheesecake. I was "fortunate" to get the last piece although not very cheesecake-y. All in all we had a nice dinner and will maybe return for another meal.“
“This restaurant is my husband and I favorite place on Long Island . We go weekly and it’s always consistent. Everything on the menu and the specials is amazing . My husbands been frequenting this place for over 30 years . The best of the best . The owner Billy is a great friend, a gentleman and always does right ! The staff is a pleasure as well . Best service! Can’t say enough good things . Highly recommend you won’t be disappointed!“
“Great food and incredible service. We were a party of 6 that stopped by for dinner on a Thursday. Food was delicious, great presentation. We were celebrating a birthday and the folks at George White all made it very special. Highly recommend.“
“Started going here a little while back for the Subculture nights hosted by Dj Cody and from the first visit knew this was a great place. Johnny the bartender is a great guy and a class act and a really attentive bartender. The service is great here and you never wait a long time to get a drink no matter how many people are there. Along with great service the atmosphere is pretty cool and the nights are always fun. Definitely worth the trip whether you live close or have to travel a bit. I will continue to go to The Rabbits Foot on a regular basis as it is always a great time.“
“Good brunch with huge portions, nice place, and tons of options, great spot to try!- fried pickles were very good, huge serving.-Mac and cheese burger was HUGE, very filling. Cooked correctly (rare). Mac and cheese part was good, not super flavorful.- Asian chicken salad was very good, my wife really enjoyed.- bacon washed old fashioned was good, not as flavorful of fat washed bourbon as I’ve had elsewhere. But good drink overall.- not pictured, French toast dunkers which made an excellent dessert at home with great dipping options. The size of the portions really make it worth it, definitely worth checking out. There were tons of options on the menu including some really unique items. I plan to return to try more.“
“My 2nd time at this amazing establishment. The service was excellent just like the first time. I enjoyed an espresso flight that was so good!!! My husband enjoyed all his food and he's a hard sell. Only good things to expect from Restoration Kitchen & Cocktails!“
“All American Burger has Great food at Great prices, and very nice fast & efficient workers! It's fun to go here! Where else can you get a hamburger for $4.50 that tastes good and a knish for $2.50 plus more at affordable prices! It has been around a long time since I went to school in this same neighborhood! I love this place! I definitely recommend it!Parking: Busy place. Plenty of parking if you don't go at a busy time here.Kid-friendliness: Kids love eating here. There are only outdoor tables! The workers are nice to everyone!“
“I had my baby shower at Goldy's Gems in November of 2023 and was absolutely thrilled by the customer service, food and atmosphere. Our guests raved about the food and how their glass was never empty, thanks to the chef, servers/bartenders! It's such a trendy place and gives off awesome vibes. We enjoyed the shower so much, that we wanted to hold our son's Baptism at another one of the restaurant groups locations. We chose to have the event at Post Office cafe and once again they knocked our socks off. We were fans just on an ordinary day, so we just knew the events would be even better and we were right. Melissa, Chris, Chris and our servers/bartender once again were amazing in every way. During our planning we also found out they just had a renovation in our event room that made it look so bright and welcoming. The staff is extremely accommodating, especially on the day of when it comes to decor setup. We were able to bring our decor earlier in the day and then have someone set up about a half hour-hour early so that when our guests arrived all was in its place. The staff at Post Office even offered to assist with some setup as long as it was simple placement. If you are ever in need of an event space, I would highly suggest Post Office Cafe and Goldy's Gems or any restaurant in this restaurant group, you just can't go wrong!“
“My family and I tried Park Avenue Grill because of their large gluten free menu. The brunch food was excellent. I tried the gluten free churro waffle bites, which were divine, and GF Tuscan eggs Benedict. There was also a decent sized vegan menu! Their specialty lattes were delicious. The atmosphere is cozy inside and they have an outdoor patio! All in all, I'm excited to go back and try more of the menu, maybe dinner next time.Dietary restrictions: They have an extensive gluten free menu and a dedicated space for itKid-friendliness: They had a decent sized kids menu that offers gluten free“
“This is a hidden gem in the heart of Farmingdale. Food was excellent! Our new favorites - Planteen and Mangú! Excellent, friendly and attentive service. Very lovely cute place! Love the yarn of basket on second floor. Couldn't resist but to sit on the glider & start knitting!“
“Me and my partner went to this fine restaurant for our dinner this evening and we put expectations we're very much exceeded. Our server was Alyssa and she was awesome even though she was super busy she was able to be there whenever we needed her. We will definitely be back her soon, knowing that we feel welcomed with amazing service and great meals.“
“They have been around for a long time and continuously excellent for food and service. The noise remains due to acoustics so I turned my hearing aid lower and you get used to it The prices are fair considering Bidenomics, and they show their class by not charging for the use of Credit Cards. Got to get back here soon.“
“This place is awesome. We've been here several times since it has opened in Plainview and we've never been disappointed by the meal. Today we had the chicken wings as appetizer, the Reuben and the Eggs Benedict made up our main. Everything was totally delicious. The Shed lemonade well worth it. The service was fantastic, thank you Eraldo F. From previous visits we've enjoyed the chicken and waffles, omelet, chilaquiles(was a special, not on regular menu) and so much more!!!“
“We hadn't been to Palmers in a while so it was our first time back in over a year. The food and waitress were excellent. A lot of people working hard. The only negatives were it got very noisy around 7:00 on Saturday and the one young hostess was not very personable. She didn't greet us when we came in at all.“
“Met a friend of mine at this restaurant for dinner. We were both very pleased with our experience. The staff was so friendly and accommodating, and efficient. Great selection on the menu. We both ordered the salmon which was delicious. Absolutely a place that we will frequent again. Overall friendly and comfortable atmosphere.“
“All the food was amazing. I went in my birthday and ended up getting the French onion soup, deviled eggs and Birthday Sandwich since it was my birthday. I loved that the deviled eggs weren't typical. The yolk that's usually inside was spread underneath the eggs so you could eat it with a spoon or scoop into the egg yourself. The French onion soup was middle of the road but the birthday sandwich was great. I really loved the bacon jam or whatever was on it. The service was great. Would definitely come back and try again.“
“Monday through Thursday 3:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. full bar full menu even longer on like Friday and Saturday or something like that. Sunday might be like an early night I think. But nobody's open like they are. There's a crowd. There's ladies this dudes I mean I guess if that's what you're into hahaha lol. Great “
“Moved out here a few years ago.. live literally within a mile of this joint.. never stopped by. Decided to give it a go tonight (st Paddy's day).. it was pretty busy.. but man. What a great idea. Wish I had come sooner. Joe, the owner, was bartending and was an absolute gentleman. The hostess and waiter, and the wait staff were all attentive and very nice. We got calamari and a couple of burgers. Very reasonable prices and really great food. No complaints at all. It was a very nice night out for the Mrs and I. And now, unfortunately for my wallet, I'll have to find the time to frequent this joint for dinner. Really great spot. Really felt like a part of the family immediately.“
“Only got a coffee but it was very good. Place is not very spacious but atmosphere is great. Old school classic dinette. Not many places like this around anymore. Employees are very friendly. No gimmicks, no new wave fusion cuisine, no "modern" decor, just good food at a good price served by good people.Wheelchair accessibility: Definitely not getting a wheelchair in these tight quarters.“
“New favorite spot!Came for breakfast here and loved everything about it!Service was excellent! Our waitress was lovely and helped us decide what we were having. the menu has staples and not so average but delicious options- win! Even the fruit was so so sweet!Had the ricotta hot honey sourdough with fresh blue berries and omelets that were cooked to perfection.AND great music! We will be back for sure!“
“Cute little place. I started coming here with my aunt after her chemo treatments. Very good food; very friendly people, waitresses, waiters, owner even the lady where you pay. Very clean very accommodating. I Absolutely recommend coming here.“
“My Wife and I hosted our rehearsal dinner at the Library Cafe, Melissa was our coordinator and she was flawless with the planning, she had answers to all of our questions and understood our budget limitations, adapted to our one off requests and ensured us a great time. The day of event, Mike was our guardian angel, as soon as we got to the venue he had set up our welcome sign and all of our accessories that we assigned to some of our bridal party. He was on top of drink requests, music, and food to the point our guests were complimenting how incredible he was. He ran a 3 person show single handedly with no hiccups. The food was delicious and the space was great to fit our large party. We will absolutely be booking with them again for a future event.“
“Drinks served with PRIDE. Frank, Eric and Vin are the best. Bouncers and owners are very friendly. Vibes and atmosphere are immaculate. Service is great even on busy nights! Live music/ DJ on weekends. Trivia on Mondays. Great happy hour Private party room is perfect for events. If you are looking for a bar in the area their are many but if you are looking for a great bar Ridge is the place.Happy appy appetizers :)“
“In the charming village of Northport, NY, there's a place where the clock hands seem to spin a little slower, and the welcome is as warm as the soup. The Shipwreck Dinner is not just a local eatery. It's a time capsule that captures the essence of a bygone era, a place that cherishes the slow and steady rhythm of a close-knit community. From the moment you step inside, The Shipwreck Dinner envelops you in an ambiance that whispers of yesteryears -- a time when everyone knew your name and your favorite dish. The air is rich with the aroma of simmering soups, each batch lovingly prepared to perfection. As a soup aficionado myself, I can attest to the fact that their offerings are nothing short of amazing. The heart and soul of The Shipwreck Dinner is, without a doubt, owner Dennis and his dedicated staff. Dennis, with his ever-present smile and genuine affection for his clientele, sets the tone for the establishment. He's more than just an owner. He's the captain of a ship where every passenger is treated like family. His passion for the restaurant and the people it serves is evident in every interaction, fostering an atmosphere that's as comforting as the food. The staff's commitment to their work is palpable -- they move with a purpose and a joy that can only come from people who truly love what they do. Their approach to service is personal, attentive, and imbued with the kind of care that can only be found in a place where employees are there because they choose to be, not just because they have to be. The Shipwreck Dinner is a treasure of Northport, a reminder of the times when meals were savored, conversations lingered, and the community was at the heart of every business. It's a place where you can shake off the cold rush of the modern world and bask in the warmth of good food and even better company. For anyone searching for a meal that satisfies the stomach and the soul, The Shipwreck Dinner is the perfect port of call. It's a restaurant that proves that some places can withstand the tides of time, offering a harbor of delicious nostalgia to anyone who walks through its welcoming doors.“
“Just had my sister's 70th surprise birthday here with 50 guests. Fantastic interior completely new interior open space with second floor dance lounge. Service and food were great. The owner has been in the bar - restaurant business for over 50 years in this area. Down the block from Long Island Railroad.“
“Sandbar is reminiscent of so many beautiful seaside venues. The interior design does match the restaurant's namesake and it was pleasant to the eye. Even the bar area looked inviting. I could see myself stopping by to watch a game.As for the food, my friend and I shared the mussels to start. Go ahead and dip some bread into the sauce of the dish. It'll change your life. We had the chickpea fries as well but I wasn't a fan of those. Our main dishes included the Pappardelle Bolognese and the Branzino. Both seemed expertly crafted. I have no complaints there. They seem to have a solid wine collection so don't worry about finding the right libation to add to your dinner. There were some slight service glitches and some of the staff seemed less than warm, but that could've been a fluke or my perception. Don't let that deter you. I would come back for sure!“
“The aroma of beef and bacon was so amazing walking down Main street, we had to pop in for a quick bite while running some errands. So glad we did. The staff was helpful and attentive. The cocktail menu was clever as well as festive. The menu has all the right snacks and hand helds for one or a group. The events board has something posted for every day of the week. We had the Drunk Chicken Sammy with sweet potato tots and the We're Jammin Burger with battered fries. The vodka sauce with burrata elevated the chicken to the next level. Fig jam and candied bacon on the burger was on point. I will definitely partake in snacks the next time we are there for HH.“
“Great place for lazy quiet lunches... natural light filled atrium...good for all seasons..new modern decor...Servers a bit novice and look confused at times probably new o. The job..but will get better... food is very good and right portions..(not large greasy ).. coffee could get better .“
“Absolutely delicious food, drinks and dessert! I had no clue this was only a mile away from me, but now that I know, I can’t wait to go back. Our waitress told us the chef changes the menu often, so I’m eager to see what other incredible things he cooks up!Only negative is the lack of parking, but we parked on the side street!“
“The most incredible dining experience ever! Highly recommend. You may be thinking well what “dining experience “ does she have to make this statement .... I have dined at some of the most highly recognized restaurants in both NYC and throughout the world. Michelin rated as well. The food was beyond my expectations and I savored every bite. Staff was like family .. they could not have been more attentive! I even forgot to grab my take home and they texted me to come back If you can grab a seat at this unique personal dining experience please do ! Can't wait to go back !“
“This place has a great vibe as well as a great selection of food hot and cold. I went for a beef empanada and a turkey pepper jack cheese and honey mustard sandwich. The empanada was very flavorful and doesn’t need sauce. The sandwich had a great balance the bread was soft and the meat was savory the cheese was a perfect balance and the honey mustard is one of the best I have had in a long time.I highly recommend this spot.“
“This is a great place and our server was fantastic, helpful and right on top of things. Very nice and large menu. Lots of tasty looking sandwiches and burgers. Really appreciated the huge beer menu and some not so well known beers. I had a Granola Brown Ale from Black Hog in CT. We started with the Crispy Cauliflower app in the chili sauce. It was excellent. My wife had the Spaghetti Squash with the pesto sauce. It was very good, on the smaller size, but a nice plate. I ordered one of the St. Patrick's specials, Corned Beef, Cabbage and potato entree. I was disappointed in the meal. While the corned beef was pretty good, the potatoes and the cabbage were undercooked and hard. took a lot away from the meal.Definitely will try the place again as the vibe and the service was first rate.“
“A fun place for lunch and dinner. I was a bit hesitant bring my son who is 3yo, because you just never know if he's having a good day or bad day. But I decided to take the risk and bring him on a mini date because there's only so many visits this mommy can take to Chik-fil-A and it turned out great. He was on his good behavior and tried the mushroom risotto, which I told him was cheesy rice with my short rib and he has a cheese burger and fries. They did forget to put cheese on his burger which he was quick to point out but that was a quick fix, the staff was quick to melt a slice of cheese on his burger and brought it back out quick. My only semi-compliant was a side was small sweet potato smash was $12 which was the same cost of his burger and fries. Otherwise, everything was great, staff was attentive and we had a fun time. The food was very good, I think I would go back to try some of their other items. Thanks Rustic Root.“
“We love Butera's and have had countless dinners at the restaurants and for delivery. The food is GREAT and we love the atmosphere. Among our favorites are their chicken meatballs and zucchini linguini. They also have great salads and the best pasta on Long Island!“
“Easter Sunday Dinner 2024 - Exquisite The rack of lamb was seasoned & cooked to perfection...tender, moist, cut like butter. Thank you! We were given all the time in the world to enjoy dinner...as though it were not a busy holiday. Wait service was exceptional. The entire experience was enjoyed by family who were visiting from out-of-state. The ambiance was a cozy, busy, and boasted water views. Plus, we had a visit from the Easter Bunny! Hippity-hop on over.“
“Had a very pleasant experience. Great dinner food. Had the turkey club panini and the veggie burger. I'd recommend both. The turkey club panini was a fresh take on turkey club. The tomato was still a bit cold which was odd, I thought it would be warm, but I had no issue with that. Good flavor.“
“Enjoyed dinner with friends at Bluebird Kitchen. We shared all our dishes, from apps to dessert, and nothing was left uneaten. Our wait staff was attentive and took great care of us. The decor was comfy and pleasing to the eye. I loved all the birds ? and custom wallpaper in the restroom.“
“The Shed is great all around and for every meal. This is the Huntington go-to for reliably friendly people, great food, and great drinks. Light and bright inside. Feels east end without the high price. Salads are substantial. Fish sandwich migh just be best fish sandwich in the world. Super easy going.“
“Perfect place to go to on any day, although the game atmosphere on the weekends is a party; crowded but not overcrowded and everyone is friendly. During the week it is quieter and easy to get a table. The servers know their jobs well and are attentive when you need it without overdoing it.The menu has a different selection from what I expected. There is delicious beer cheese soup, thinly sliced reuben sandwiches with sauerkraut and dressing, various salads such as fantasia salmon salad, buffalo wings, calamari, quesadillas and many more selections including a brunch on Sundays. I don't give 5 stars on food unless it is incredibly special, but this place deserves a very high 4 stars not only for the food but for the quick order taking and serving. Pricing is average unless you are a big drinker; if you are drinking, there are a huge variety of beers and other alcoholic drinks. There are about 50 live streaming tv's on every wall, including on the outside wall if you prefer to eat outdoors.Great place to go to with friends and family. Changing Times Pub has to be tried out!Parking: There are parking spaces all along the front and back of Changing Times, but there is also a large lot right next to the small group of connected stores that this pub is a part of.“
“Awesome food truck!!!! Have to say some of the best food I have gotten out of a food truck! Used him for a work event at the end of last year! People still talk about the event and the food! Had delicious sandwiches my favorite was the Korean sandwich with the Korean French fries!!! And the tacos…. Wish he had a spot so I can get them whenever I want. Chef Graham was very accommodating with the menu and the suggestions helped a lot! Thank you and I will be using you again!“
