“Celebrated our son’s 22nd birthday here tonight. Perfect spot for a pub on N. Division St., in the heart of Peekskill. Everything was wonderful from the service, to the apps , to our meals. Nathan our server & bartender was great & very attentive. He even made a special drink for my 78 year old mom who is quite picky & she loved it. The rest of us were drinking beer as it goes well with the wings & Nathan kept it flowing. The wings were the best, we tried the Buffalo & the sticky Asian. Yum! The pretzel bites were a big hit too, very soft & tasty & we loved the pierogis! Some of what we ordered : the slider stack, the chicken & waffle stack (cool presentation), & the mother clucker chicken sandwich. Everything was delish & everything came out piping hot! We were a party of 5 & we all said we would definitely be back! Kudos to Nathan & Whisky River!“

“I went there 4 times already and I must say that for a recent new comer to the US, this place is a hidden gem. Great craft beer selection and Evan (the owner) is a pretty awesome dude. I am a punk rock sound mixer and filmmaker from Lisbon, Portugal that has been touring the world since 1996 and I really thought that now living in corky expensive Westchester that it would be rare to feel and get in touch with “real scrappy people”, I guess I was wrong so thank you Growlers for having me, much appreciated. Last Tuesday was night jam sessions hosted by Paul Francis which is indeed an awesome fellow. “We hadn't been to this restaurant in years and were pleasantly surprised. I had the burrata and the chicken thighs and my husband had a salad and the salmon. Everything was delicious and the server was very pleasant and attentive. We'll definitely be back soon.“
