“Came in last week to try Haitian food for the first time. A coworker from Haiti recommended this restaurant specifically.I got the oxtail stew and it was amazing. Tender meat in a flavorful sauce. And it comes with a weeks worth of delicious rice and beans, Plantains and baked mac to boot.Stopped in today for the fried pork and it was the best food I've had in a long time. Love the spicy pikliz!The restaurant itself is small with a few tables but has an extremely warm welcoming feel. Staff are some of the friendliest people I've ever seen.“

“Bardonia Oriental is consistently our favorite go-to place for Chinese food. The chicken is most often quite delicious and tender, regardless of the dish that it's placed with. I'm most often preferred chicken with broccoli however I had chicken with Chinese vegetables last night and found it to be absolutely scrumptious! The beef with snow peas is delicious as well. One of our dear friends is Chinese and she refuses to eat Chinese food anywhere but there if that's any indication of the quality of their food. The egg rolls can be hit or miss at times having so much grease they're impossible to consume and other times being so delicious I would eat multiples if I had them! There thick Chinese noodles are rarely greasy and always delicious especially with duck sauce. We prefer the mustard that comes in a container to the hot sauce in a package. I would not recommend requesting sauce on the side as I have done a times because somehow the chicken and broccoli become overdone. Overall, as I've said there isn't any other Chinese restaurant in Rockland County that has earned my respect and is much repeat business as Bardonia Oriental. I forgot to mention how much we enjoyed the crab with cream cheese appetizer! They are very good at following specific orders so if you like your vegetables al dente to preserve the nutrients and simply let them know how long you would like to cook it the vegetables. Otherwise the broccoli tends to be somewhat soggy. With a little bit of accommodation and finagling and won't improved consistency for the egg rolls, I would delightfully add the extra star all the way! If you would like your vegetables to preserve maximum nutritional value, I would recommend requesting them to be a little hard. And definitely not mushy.“

“Went for dinner and drinks with a friend. Made a reservation and they were ready for us when we arrived. Prompt and friendly service. Sam is just superb he made clear understanding about the menu which I appreciated. Good menu options. We ordered an app, 3 entrees and drinks and received quickly. Hummus, Mast-O-Moosir and Panir-Sabzi was awesome! Chicken Sultani and Shrimp Kebob were authentic in every bite and a good portion. Baklava and other desserts were generous. Excellent experience! “This place has great food and is always busy whenever I go! I've tried a few of their dishes but my favorite is the mapo tofu. They also have vegetarian options including soup dumplings! What really sets them apart is their service. Everyone is truly SO friendly!“

“I came here with mymom and son after a VERY long day filled with tubing, hiking and shopping. After eating things on the go all day, we were looking for a nice spot to sit and relax with a good meal. Fireside did not disappoint. The staff was beyond friendly and attentive. The food was incredible. We had the clam chowder amd calamari. The chowder was probably the best I have ever had, and I am very picky. It was so creamy amd fresh. The calamari was fried perfectly, not oily and paired well with their sauce. We had the chicken Fresca and 6 oz lobster tail with twice baked potatoes. Everything was delicious! We could not have been more happy that we chose this restaurant. To top it off, we asked my son what he wanted for dessert and he said he wished they had red velvet. This is one of his favorites but most restaurants never have it. To our surprise, when the waitress came over to tell us desserts that was the first on the list! Needless to say, my son was very happy. The cake was fantastic!!! We will be back and recommend anyone passing through or staying near by to make a stop here. You won't be disappointed!“

“Was visiting another store in the plaza and dropped in here for lunch. Wasn't busy so we were able to pick our seats. Nice drink menu and the margarita was large. The salsa tasted really fresh and had a little hint of spice to it. Loved the beef flautas. Service was friendly and fast. We also had a shot of coquito at the end that was delicious!“

Vegan options are limited if you are gluten intolerant but if you’re not, my husband had the vegetarian pizza without the mozzarella and loved it. I had gf mussels marinara and the California salad, my kids had fried calamari, fries, pizza and gnocchi bolognese and everyone enjoyed the food.“

“Went for the first time to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. Really fun vibe as a speakeasy. Everything was great. Cocktails and Tapas were delicious. Especially loved the cheese fondue and the oysters Rockefeller. Had dinner as well and loved the beef Wellington as well as the mashed sweet potatoes! Desserts were a hit as well. The owner/chef, Dennis came out and chatted with us and he was super friendly and accommodating. A truly delightful evening. Can’t wait to go back!“

The chicken, rice and vegetable dish had a great presentation, great favor and cooked very well. We've haven't eaten there was get takeout. The restaurant is clean and organized. Staff is friendly.
