“Had a wonderful experience at al di la! We arrived a little before 12 pm and was empty so we got to enjoy the quiet but it got filled up while we were sitting. The atmosphere is calm. There isn't a very bug menu but the food is really good. We had their famous salad pizza and didn't disappoint! We also ordered a hot coca which was perfect for this cold rainy day and a delicious salmon pizzaoili. The Eggplant rollantini was good as well. Will definitely be coming back here!“

“One of our favorite restaurants! The food is incredibly flavorful, and everyone from the owner to the greeter to the waiters are a pleasure to talk with, making the experience that much better. It can get a bit noisy, but the tables are spaced so you're not right on top of your neighbor. Suggestions- Apps- Malfatti, Polpette, Cauliflower Sformatino Main- Spinach & Roasted Garlic Risotto, Cherry Braised Short Ribs, Sunday Gravy, Braised Veal Cheek. Dessert- Beignets, Carrot Cake These are our favorites, but I've heard no complaints about any dishes.“

“My wife and I have dined at the Saddle River Inn many times. The food and service is outstanding. Last night we had crab cake and agnolotti with white truffle cream sauce as appetizers. They were both delicious! I enjoyed the Long Island Duck with lo mein, bok choy, shiitake, scallion, crispy rice, orange hoisin sauce as my entre'e. My wife had a pork chop filet special. While she enjoyed the combination of flavors in the dish, the pork was very "chewy". When she mentioned it to our server, he said that he was aware of it. He said that it was a new dish and had to be "tweaked". He offered to replace her meal but she declined. We shared strawberry cheese cake for desert, which was excellent. Without asking, the cost of my wife's entree was taken off our bill. We were pleasantly surprised by this gracious gesture, and plan to be back soon.“

“We used A Little Cake for our wedding cake and they truly were incredible to work with! They offered a cake tasting in person, gave us time to think and discuss, didn't rush us to make decisions at all. Their cakes are super moist, not overly sweet, and their designs are so special! We chose coconut cream and cannoli as two of the fillings and guests raved about their desserts! We can't wait to use them again for future events“

“We made it right on time, as kitchen closes 15 minutes before closing. Food came out hot and quickly. The banh mi was insane, amazinf flavor and really nice presentation. Their salad and dressing is also so good!! Really cute corner in the entrance with some gifty items and cute greeting cards. Bakery items looked amazing, will try next time. My mother, husband and sister all ordered the short ribs special and they all agreed it was over the top delicious. My other sister had the Halibut and she was very satisfied with her dish and I had the duck which is always amazing.“

“Our absolute favorite, go-to restaurant. The service is great - the owner is welcoming (even once escorted our toddler to the c-store next door to buy some candy) and all the wait staff is great, especially Jason who is incredibly kind. Food is excellent quality and fairly priced for how good it is. Pastas are cooked perfect al dente. Great meat dishes especially the pork chop french cut. The desserts are quite good as well - love the coconut cake. Because it's not huge it isn't quiet but we've never found it to be uncomfortably loud and it has a great ambience.“

“If fresh authentic homemade pasta is what you crave, this is the place to go. Food is delicious and of high quality. You can taste that everything is authenticly Italian homemade with love and care. It's a limited menu but that is how they can put out such high quality. Prices are not cheap but worth it for the quality and execution. “So many drink options! Excellent coffee, you can customize in every way possible. They offer lots of recommendations if you're overwhelmed and can't make a decision. Servers are always patient, friendly and knowledgeable. Scones are good and the breakfast wraps are the absolute best. The only two drawbacks are that it is quite pricey, and it takes an awfully long time for food orders. I would get breakfast here every morning but it's at least a 15 min wait if you order any food, and there's almost always a line to order. Overall, it's a very good coffee shop and provides an excellent alternative to just the usual Dunkin and Starbucks in the area.Parking: There are only a few spots in front of the coffee shop but you can park further down past C&RC or near Ernie's, if needed.“

My daughter was in town and we needed something to eat while we traveled for Christmas . I ordered the spring roll the wonton soup and the chili and basil fried rice. I really enjoyed their wonton soup. The broth has a lot of flavor in it and it's always consistently good. The fried rice has egg, bell pepper, chili, and fried onion in it. The restaurant on the inside is actually quite beautiful and has some great artwork on the wall. Just not the picture and added it here. I will definitely be back. This location is always packed for takeout as well as for dinner and I'd really enjoy their food.“

We were seated promptly, quickly asked which type of water we would like and the sever was over within minutes for our cocktail order. We had some west coast oysters and a Greek meatball appetizer, which were properly spaced, followed by two fish entrees - it's a smooth operation here. The almond cake for dessert was also lovely. “It was crowded and they were BUSY on a working Wednesday. I guess the food being this good, it would be a destination! Grub by Chef Waree is a gem. We had the Stewed Beef soup with rice noodles. Umami was off the charts with the soup. That meant that each slurp of perfectly cooked noodle was nicely coated with enough tasty broth not to need anything else. What was important to me was the great blend of textures with Gailan nicely chopped and perfectly cooked, fresh bean sprouts, and the rice noodles and tender, tasty beef chunks. The Phad Thai with Crispy Duck was well flavored and nicely spicy for "medium". The phat thai was generously sauced without drowning in sauce. Great service and a welcoming atmosphere.“
