“Every time I eat here I get some good old comfort food. Their cheese grits are amazing! The music they play will have you dancing in your seat. The bench seats are comfortable but the tall chairs aren't. My last visit I got an expired diet coke and was told people complained earlier about the diet cokes so they removed them when I complained. That being said, I recommend visiting and I'll be visiting again. Try the honey chicken, biscuit and cheese grits.“

“Come for the food. The service is the pits- very much understaffed, the poor folks there are doing their best. The worst is that they have the audacity to tack on an auto gratuity for two people. Oh and btw the time before last the server spilled an entire glass of water on me. I had to hunt down replacement napkins, nothing discounted, nobody stopped by, just sat there and ate with wet pants, they still added auto grat. I even emailed. “The cozy atmosphere of this place is unmatched! Seating is limited so come early or make a reservation because the food here is fantastic. I loved my burger — the thick patty, sourced from Ottomanelli’s (for local UESers), had quality you could taste. It’s served on an English muffin which is unique and totally works! This was one of the few burgers where I didn’t feel absolutely stuffed/heavy after eating it which was refreshing. Highly recommend ordering it with the white cheddar cheese! The low lights, soft jazz, wooden furnishings, delicious food, and welcoming service make this place an easy 5 star ??“

After looking at many places on Columbus that just didn’t thrill us, we were SO happy to find the incredibly delicious Mexican cuisine at Nina’s last night I had the Cochinita Pibil (with an orange habanero salsa on the side that will let you know who’s boss…) and my old friend had Enchiladas Mole with chicken. Excellent and authentic food with warm, friendly staff, and a great bar selection with many tequilas. Nina’s is great! Reasonable too! Glad to give credit where it’s due to this 7mo old establishment that I hope stays for many years! Will return for more!“

“Copper Kettle is an outstanding restaurant. The owner, Joe, is truly a master of his craft. He studied at the Culinary Institute of America (CIA), and it absolutely shows. Somehow he has mastered several schools of cooking- French, Central European, Italian, and others. He prepares duck confit as good as any I have had in Paris, schnitzel just like I had at the best restaurants in Vienna, and the best Latkes I have ever had. His number two guy, William, does an outstanding job of walking you through the menu, finding out what your tastes are, and matching you with the best dish to suit your taste. Joe also finds the freshest fish and makes monkfish and sole that is always the highlight of my day. Come to copper kettle if you want outstanding fresh food at reasonable prices prepared by a detail oriented, CIA educated chef.“
“Ordered via UberEats. I got the bodega & the ACP.Oh my god. Immediate eyes rolled to the back of my head at the first bite of the bodega biscuit. I got the maple cayenne butter also which I feel was a nice touch. The buttermilk biscuit is buttery, rich, soft, and so good!! Not dry at all!The ACP came with the gravy on the side, which I appreciated to avoid a soggy biscuit. Again, absolutely delicious although I will say it might’ve been a bit salty.. but regardless it was great! Savory and just *chef’s kiss* Worth every penny!I couldn’t even finish it.
