“One of the best diners i know in queens/ nassau county. From the minute you walk in door there is a host. When you sit down cold ice water is served right away. Wait staff is prompt with taking your order and serving you. They check in on you during your meal. The food is fresh, hot and plenty! Worth the amount you pay. “We've been passing this place for over 20 years on our trip to New York and never had a chance to stop by... WE MISSED A LOT! We specifically decided on dining at the Omega Diner tonight and the good thing we did! We met there at 7 pm for a family dinner with our son who moved to New York. Kind of a half way between or PA home and his place in NY. The place wasn't very busy. We were sitted right away. The waiter was with us in less than a minute, and in another few minutes we were served our water, seltzer and hot tea. The waiter took our order, advising on what is good and what he would recommend. Great guy! Very friendly, very patient, very customer oriented. My wife got her cream of turkey soup in another few minutes. At that point I added the matzoh ball soup for myself. It was served right away. It looked so good that my son took it from me! I ordered another portion of it and asked to get me an additional bowl to split it. Well, in a few minutes it was served with extra bowl full of additiina steaming broth. This soup tasted very-very good. And the size of that matzoh ball!!! It was of the size of a baseball ⚾️ !!! Yes, and my wife's cream of turkey soup - delicious!!! We did not even want to eat anything else after that but... we already ordered our main meals... Well, everything was served fast and tasted great. My Omega club sandwich (recommended by the waiter) - delicious, Omega appetizers - perfect, deluxe cheeseburger - very nice, baked mix seafood for my wife - tasty and nicely presented, looking very appealing. Obviously, at least half of all this went home with us... We needed room for the sweets. Cappuccino, chocolate chip cookie, chocolate cheesecake - all was great, presentable and delicious! And all this for under $90 (plus tip of course) for the party of four! In today's world this is a pretty good deal! Especially, with such a great service, clean and nicely designed and maintained place and nice portions sizes! We will definitely come back to this place again. They have so many interesting and appealing items on their menu that we want to try...”

“Went to pick up some food and it would be a few more minutes. So I got a chance to watch them all preparing for the lunch rush. There's nothing like food that was prepared perfectly. These women should be proud if the job they do. It's easy to overlook the work that goes into freshly prepared. Incredible and I can't wait to go back. You owe it to yourself to try a restaurant in your own neighborhood that you didn't even realize was there and how good it was. I should of taken a picture of the food. No more smashed cheese burger from the big chains. Open your mind to ideas for lunch and try these small privately owned places. They take so much pride into their work. Many cultures see cooking as a privilege, this seems to be one of them. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“We have been looking for Bun Bo Hue somewhere on Long Island since we moved here and needless to say it is very much lacking in Nassau and non-existent in Suffolk. This place has a very decent Bun Bo Hue! We had the pork chop bahn mi, VERY GOOD. So happy to find some real Viet food on Long Island!”

“This is a long overdue review of a holiday party held at The Clubhouse. Brian was extremely responsive and flexible in working out open bar options and a menu of appetizers and for us. We were a group of around 30 women, so we did not have the place to ourselves completely, but Brain let us have the majority of the room, keeping a few tables closest to the door open for other patrons. It was a Sunday evening, after the brunch crowd, so it was fairly quiet aside from our group. We were able to decorate the tables a bit, but the restaurant was also nicely decorated for the holidays. Brian gave us a very reasonable price and the food was excellent! The bartenders were friendly and kind, and overall, it was a wonderful night. This is the second year in a row we have held our event at The Clubhouse. I highly recommend The Clubhouse if you are looking for a fun, casual gathering spot for a group.”

I get a call from the owner himself and he personally made sure that he fixed the situation and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and to me that's the most important and meaningful way to treat your customers! I love their drinks especially the fat fighter! I've been going there for years and will continue to go. People might say it's a bit expensive but your paying for quality and efficiency! I definitely recommend this place!”

“I stopped by yesterday afternoon to get some bagels for my daughter. Unfortunately they had closed 10 minutes before I got there. A gentleman came out of the store and said sorry we’re closed. You missed us by about 10 minutes. I told him I had just left a doctor’s appointment and was trying to get gluten free bagels for my daughter because she really enjoyed their bagels. He stopped and said he had three in the store. He went back into the store and brought me not only the 3 bagels but some frozen ones as well. His name is Mike and he is the owner. He didn’t have to go back into the store but he did. He made my day. There really are kind people in this world. Thank you Mike! You have a customer for life.”

“Although the atmosphere is average, the staff there are overall nice and chill. I ordered an 8 pc of barbecue wings for $9.80, and they were GREAT. The wait time was 20 min. The usual sides with barbecue wings (celery and carrots) were fresh and juicy. The wings itself were cooked nicely, of course weren’t dry, but juicy. For those of you that don’t like how chicken are sometimes slimy or have a slippery texture, the wings that are sold here don’t have that texture. For my fellow gym people, the food here are great for bulking up. For those of you that want to eat on a diet… well, I’m sure they have some vegetarian options that contain fresh vegetables. The pizza they have and the knots all look delicious.Go try their food! Always live your life with great quality.”
