“BLOWN AWAY! This is real Northern Italian cuisine: ample portions but not your Nonna saying "you're too skinny: mangia!" Pollo Di Anna & Pollo Di Leandra are not to be missed! Unfortunately the Vitello was a bit tough. Not certain if it's a sourcing issue or a prep issue. My wife said that she'll join the Pollo line next time. The house wines are great as is the service. Hop the river from Poughkeepsie and have a fantastic experience“
“The food here is amazing! This is not just a pizza place. I had the Sir Duke sandwich and it was so good...and not on an average boring roll. My daughter's LOVE the pizza and they have a drive through window! I always ask for a slice of the stuffed meat pie. You should go inside because you will see a bunch of things not on the menu and they are delicious too!“
“Lets start of with their wings. It is so fresh and spicy and very very big! The pizza was better that some places in NYC and I was very impressed. They put the right amount of sauce and cheese on the their perfect dough. They cook the pizza right in front of you too! The service was really nice but, they made it quick and not too much socializing. The ambience reminds me in a hole on the wall place but, it was very clean. Definitely recommend!“
“This place is open late, isn’t expensive, and is absolutely delicious. The staff is friendly, there’s a bunch of space to sit, and they completed our pick up order in 10 minutes. I have NEVER called a pizza place and been told the wait was only 10 minutes. For sure is one of the top places in new paltz for pizza. They even let you get single garlic knots, and don’t make you order them in sets, which is dope. My only complaint is that the garlic knots are literally just little rolls covered in raw garlic- im talking COVERED in raw garlic. As a garlic lover, it was even too much for me. Did I eat them all? Yes. But only after I scraped it off.“
“If you're looking for a breakfast that doesn't make you want to die, this is the perfect place!!! Amazing!!! I had the veggie breakfast sandwich with egg, mozzarella, pesto, red onion, and tomato on a spinach wrap. So flavorful! Not boring at all! Perfect combination of everything. They also have heartier choices for those who enjoy that too. This is NOT fast food garbage. This is real food with real flavors made by real people who know what they're doing. Friendly service. Really great prices too! Would definitely return.“
“Not only are they the best pizza in town, but they're also the classiest guys. They were able to help us out in a pinch when my payment wasn't going through and let us come back to pay it the next day. They're real stand-up folks and people like them keep the world turning. They've earned my loyalty.“
“Have had excellent pizza here in past. Garlic knots aa good as you can get. But a real pleasant surprise was i asked if they have any sauce they sell. I took out an order of bolognese sauce. Home made and Incredibly delicious! Love the Sicilian and grandma slices. (And the beautiful owner should be in movies).“
“It's sad that people are using a woman's business as a political battlefield but that's another story. I don't like how people throw around 5 stars these days (seems like it's either 1 or 5 - no in between). I'm leaving 5 because this is the closest thing to NYC pizza in New Paltz. And after living there for 12 years, it's the one thing I miss about that crazy city.I don't order out often - but I'm glad every time I do - a worth it splurge. Best pizza, cannolis, and homemade soup in town in my opinion.I could go on and on about the national debacle over a mural on a private business…but this is just supposed to be a review of a local pizza shop. My only regret tonight is that I only got 1 cannoli.“
“I was trying to order a couple sandwiches from a deli, but the first deli I tried I had to call three times and they never picked up. I called this place and the guy picked right up. Order my sandwiches no problem, picked them up no problem. My tuna sub was delicious, would definitely order from here again.“
“Love this place! I did not expect the burrata appetizer to be so good but it was simply delicious and I would definitely get it again. The steak was cooked perfectly as well as the pasta. Service is great and the place has a warm atmosphere. Can't wait to visit again!“
“Dive bar in Highland, NY. It's worth the visit for sure. Hospitality is great as the owner Sal came around and greeted us. The waitress was on point. We got the wings, and these were your old school wings, meaty and flavorful. Definitely not the pigeon wings you get from some places. So yea, Sals place is absolutely worth the whiskey ?“
“So I stroll in to this place looking for the next great pizza find and BOOM! This place is a great throw back atmosphere! Counter and table seating. The service is excellent with a great attitude towards the customer. I had what they call Grandma's Pizza. I would say I would be hard pressed to find better pizza! Bar Stool would grade this in the high 7-8 range. I had to have a second then a THIRD slice! I did not want to leave! Great place, great, great slice!“
“Phenomenal food, accompanied with phenomenal service. Truly an excellent meal, with each dish given such thought and detail by the chef. The whipped ricotta with the fresh bread is a must try, as are the broccoli raab stuffed meatballs! Scallops and steak were both cooked to perfection. I could go on and on, but just go try for yourself. I can’t wait to go back.“
“Frank’s has done the catering now for three of my parties, and each time the food has been stellar. The quality of the dishes is exceptional and they are very affordably priced. Also everyone has been super helpful to me when I’ve been selecting my menu. Standout dishes (but everything has been great!!) Pulled pork, pork tenderloin, rice and beans, and chicken wings. All pastas have been wonderful! You can’t go wrong! Thank you Frank’s! You’re awesome!!“
“A Wallkill staple! Food is usually delicious Italian fare. It is never poor quality, but it can vary from visit to visit. Servers are attentive and helpful. Great small town airport location and a funky building. We always enjoy our meals here.“
“We have had an early (4:30pm) dinner this past weekend. We have been there several times before but over 15 years ago. No specific reason for the lapse. just never got back. Our past experience was: Food and service 5 stars, Atmosphere: upscale (dressy), Prices: reasonable for the quality and portions. The steak Au Poivre was the best I have ever had. New experience: The atmosphere, is more casual -(almost "rustic"), The host wearing a flannel shirt, and the waitress wearing a down vest. After other guests arrived, I thought it was a bit noisy but then realized there wasn't a person dining under 80 (guessing hearing problems, LOL), I'm 65 and felt like a kid, LOL. No worries, it didn't affect my food! LOL!. Food and service: The calamari was skimpy but cooked perfectly. The French onion soup was VERY VERY good!! The Steak Au Poivre... is STILL the best I have ever had! The fries, well I like the crisp-crisp-crisp, but did not specify.. They came out perfect to my liking. The bourbon list, only Knob Creek and Bullitt, drinkable but it would have been nice to see some eagle rare, Blantins, etc. The "house" wine was yummy too. No dessert, we were very full. SummaryL We would absolutely go back again and not wait 15 years! 5 stars from us. Note; we liked the casual dress... I dont mind wearing a shirt and tie but we did feel more relaxed in casual attire.“
“We went to Vigneto several times and really enjoyed their professionalism. The staff/owners greet you at the door, take the time to talk to you respectfully, and ask regularly if you are satisfied with the food. We highly recommend Vigneto.“
“Great food, great service, great local New York atmosphere. Gluten free options if that is your thing. Strombolis, New York pizza and Sicilian pizza were part of the menu. Good select of great tasting unique brews. German beer. Highly recommend.“
“Let me start out by saying that 5 stars is not enough for this place, Diana and Pete are amazing people with such a welcoming aura to them. This was my first time here, and they made me feel like I was a regular and it made me feel very at home. Not to mention the food was to die for, some of the best pizza I have ever had to date. Drinks are amazing might I add, they have amazing tap beers, wine and cider. They also offer lodging in the inn, and in the summer months offer glamping, will 100% be back to try more food!“
“Highly variable quality. We are local and order takeout here several times a month. The pizza quality varies. On a good day, the pizza is fantastic. Other times the pizza is just ok. Stromboli are always excellent, so sometimes we just order those to avoid risking getting an ok pizza. The salads range from great to fair. Most times the greens are very fresh and dry, other times the salads are soggy and slimy. Lately, salads have been more consistently good. Sometimes the person answering the phone is courteous and responsive. Other times they respond in only one syllable words or incomprehensible grunts. Most times I get home to discover my order was filled correctly. Occasionally my order is incorrect, perhaps as a result of variable phone responsiveness/miscommunication. Wings are always great...really great! When ordering fresh, I expect fresh made food and I don’t mind waiting, but the sliders taste like they sat out for a loooong time. Dry, lack flavor, and unsatisfying. I imagine freshly made sliders are excellent.I like Pasquales and will continue to patronize...because Lillos in Walden is no longer an option. Keep up the good work P...Note: Ca$h only.“
“Came up to headless horseman and needed a bit to eat. Got slices for everyone and they where great. Super nice under carriage for a thin round pie. Cheese and sauce was top notch. Love pizza and that was a 9.3 rating. The counter people where nice and super quick. Place was packed and seemed well maintained. Will definitely recommend“
“We had never heard of Paesanos until we moved to Modena. We were happy to find out that the pizza is great, garlic knots are the best, extra crispy wings are amazing and the subs are delicious. Also prices are very reasonable. Only complaint is that they only deliver for cash.“
“Pasquale's in Gardiner has been our go to pizza joint for years. Sadly, the manager who brought life to the place ( Chris) is no longer there. It has been awhile since he left, but the difference in the atmosphere is still palpable. The wait staff are wonderful, however, Chris used to make the rounds of the dining room , greeting customers, joking etc. After all this time, I'm still not sure who is in charge when the owner isn't present. ( an owner who has never acknowledged our existence btw). The music is played so loudly at times I can not hear what we are talking about. So the negative aside, the pizza is wonderful. Consistent, hot, crispy. The menu is varied with something for everyone. The garlic knots are large , really garlicky, soft and delicious. Service is fast as is the kitchen. No complaints there. I will say with the loud music and how cold they keep the dining room , we don't go as often, but I do recommend it.“
“Excellent pizza and other very authentic Italian fare (the pepper stuffed with caponata was extraordinary) makes this no ordinary pizza joint, but a high quality restaurant. Loved the fennel and radicchio salad, too. And don't miss the fried artichokes! As a native of Rome, where artichokes are a big part of the local cuisine, these guys make w flawless version.“
