“Love working with Bryce & his dedicated team during special events! I am a professional photographer and every time I’ve worked at Novellas I’ve been nothing but comfortable, excited, and warmly welcomed by all staff!Everyone is dedicated to make operations run smoothly and Bryce is fantastic to coordinate with. Every time I have concerns about lighting or need updates throughout the night, Bryce always has an answer, a solution, a smile on his face. Thank you for creating a great environment for both guests & vendors. We appreciate all your hard work together at Novellas! Can’t wait for more events together in the future.“
“It does not look as cool on the outside as it actually is on the inside. Highly recommend.Atmosphere: the ceiling is covered in records, and the walls are covered in music posters and guitarsVibe: while you wait for your food, a magician comes to your table and entertains you with cool card tricksFood: they really do have 30 different types of burgers! I had the Gwar Burger which was a double patty burger with pulled pork, delicious! My friend had the Yard Burger (or something like that) which was one patty and one friend chicken patty with lettuc and tomatoa and he really enjoyed it. I also got sweet potato fries as a side, top tier!Other: they serve ice cream in a major way. Like there's a whole old timey vibe ice cream shop as you enter. There's also a music novelty and memorabilia store attached to the sit down restaurant. If you're really good at Pacman you could win a free burger and fries!“
“I stopped here to get a light lunch and for a rest stop during a road trip. Although the listing makes it seem like a food court, it is actually a single ordering counter that offers coffees and a variety of prepared food items. I wanted something light, so I tried the empanadas with chimichurri. Although the portion size was good, the filling tasted like "sloppy Joe" meat, and the sauce was sweet. The restaurant has ample indoor seating, and a nice outdoor deck. Parking is limited, and I was lucky to arrive before the lunchtime crowd.“
“What a great place! Highly worth the slightly higher prices. Really quaint location tucked away, and the atmosphere is really fun. Great selection of drinks and food, and they even have a dedicated vegetarian menu if that's preferred.Really glad I checked out this place. Owners are super nice and friendly as well. Highly recommend to any in the area!“
“My fave vegan spot in New Paltz. Food is delish and staff is delightful. Puppy friendly with indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of GF optionsVegetarian options: Everything is veganDietary restrictions: In addition to being all vegan, there are lots of GF options, and everything la elements and adjustable so you can avoid nuts, seeds wtc.Kid-friendliness: Totally kid friendly“
“Love this little bar. There's even a small balcony with a view to the Gunks, and a little raised bed of herbs that the bartender uses for drinks... so fresh lavender in your cocktail...be still my senses, only one at a time please! Service is always lovely and welcoming. If you like Bourbon, a cocktail called the "Bees Knees" is the way to go.“
“A really nice coffee shop off the beaten path in New Paltz. They have a good menu with all your typical drinks with some seasonal specials. I highly recommend the amaretto and campfire specials. They served baked goods and food and both are fresh and tasty. It is a smaller space with limited seating. I personally love the back porch. It is a bit colder outside, but the view makes it worth it. Service is decently paced unless it's Uber busy, then it could be a bit slower, but it's not anything too extremely long. Staff are quite friendly. Would recommend“
“Hands down my favorite place in New Paltz for lunch or dinner, dine-in or takeout. First-rate food, excellent preparation in a kitchen visible from the dining room and the best staff in the business. Cannot recommend Lola's Cafe New Paltz enough–five stars and A+“
“Yesterday, my sorority alumni met at Maggie Mae's for our fall luncheon. My seat had the perfect view of changing fall leaves. The weather here on Long Island was absolutely horrible. When I set out on my road trip upstate, I almost turned around and went home. I am so glad that I didn't! Not only did I share some funny memories and have some good laughs with my sisters of all ages, but I had an incredible lunch, followed by a dessert that almost literally blew me away! I'll post the pictures, but I'll tell you that I had a delicious chicken francaise with asparagus and the most wonderful mashed potatoes. I saved most of the potatoes for last, with a fair bit of the sauce. I only wish that I had brought a rubber scraper with me so I could get every last delicious speck of mashed potatoes. Then came my favorite part: dessert! The menu describesit as a rich chocolate Guinness cake with cream cheese frosting. Yelp reader, I am a Guinness girl. However, I could not begin to conceptualize how the two flavors would work together. Not only did they work together wonderfully, but the cream cheese frosting put an interesting sweet little twist on the flavor. I have a terrible sweet tooth. and when I find a sweet that I like, I just can't get enough of it. I wish I could have another piece of that cake right now...“
“Been coming here since I got my license, that was 40 years ago. Now that I live in New Paltz I try to get there once a week. Party platter, Chicken BLT, Mac Truck burger or Nachos with Chili is what I usually get. A Guinness is always available and great smiles from all the servers and bartenders. Never been disappointed not once.Parking: If you are lucky you'll be able to park right out front. If not the entire street has parking as well as across the street there's a huge parking lot.“
“The market: Quite simply the only place worth going for seafood, fresh or prepared, within 50 miles. I come from San Francisco and grew up going to places like this, its one par with SF or Monterey seafood joints. If you're wanting someting special, if you call ahead and give them a few days, they can get you just about anything, including bulk quantity for events/catering. So happy this place is only 25 min from home. The Restaurant: This is not a fancy seafood restaurant, its a seafood joint. There is a difference. Think paper plates and curly fries. Better for a quick bite than a fancy occasion.“
“Cuddys is a great wing spot in new paltz! This is my go to place when i’m not sure what I want to eat because i’m always able to find something on the menu! The drinks are great here as well! Great family spot, after work quick bite, traditional bar food!“
“The Bistro has been a very popular breakfast and lunch place in New Paltz for many years. Recently under new ownership, some things have changed. The breakfast and lunch aspect have stayed roughly the same, but they have added a VEGAN VIETNAMESE dinner six days a week. I don’t usually do reviews of places in NewPaltz, and wasn’t planning to, so I did not get pictures, will next time. Great food and make sure you try the bubble tea, probably the best in town!Vegetarian options: The DINNER is all vegan“
“I treated myself on my birthday to dinner and drinks. It was after 6p on a Thursday night. It’s a small and cozy spot with a few people at the bar and a couple of us seated. I started with two unique tequila drinks. I then had the chopped salad with blue cheese crumbles, followed by the shrimp with grits. It’s my new favorite. I never would have put those two together. I want to go back and try more appetizers and another entree.“
“lemon squeeze had the only people all night that would help my friends when a man was harassing us. we were there for a few hours before this happened and had the best time with the live music and great vibe! the staff genuinely saved us that night and deserve ten stars“
“Had a great weekday brunch here. Food and cocktails are spot on. This is the kind of place you'd expect in the city proper and a nice option is here. Very vegan friendly. Prices are high but fair for farm to table ingredients and ethical wage transparency the whole way down.“
“I was a little disappointed by the brownies I got here. They tasted like cardboard sprinkled with cocoa powder. They looked fudgey and sweet but tasted nothing like what they looked like. The staff were friendly and the upstairs has many tables in a diner-booth style. I'll try another baked-good next time and hopefully, I can change my rating.“
“If you are looking for a Great sandwich for a more then reasonable price, you have found your place. The sandwich selection is full of great options, and you won't be disappointed. The Cuban has been my go-to for a quick weekend lunch option. The staff is attentive and friendly, and one gentlemen calls me young man, even though I am sure that I am older then him which leads me to an extensional crisis while I eat my Cuban. I hope that this joint can survive in our sweet little town full of Teeny boppers and hopeless hipsters. Do yourself a favor and grab a sandwich from this place before our only option is a mutant meat sandwich from Amazon grown in a laboratory for 2$ a month for eternity.“
