So lady at register gave me sass because I didn't see why they would insist on a tip. Literally went in, was brought water and got up to get my own food and didn't require any additional service. The expectation to receive money in additional to the payment was interesting to me. I inquired what made her insist on the tip and after a brief back and forth to, let it go. I write this to say. Used to love it, Now not so much! They dont have that great customer service like they used to, the servers can be somewhat rude and tips here are not optional, plus i feel like they rush you into leaving, even if your not eating much and just eating ice cream! I feel like the prices are a bit high too! Not what it used to be!!
Went there and had a pleasant experience. The place is spacious... the huge lobby on the Main St side welcomed me and I figured out that the main desk/ counter is closer to the side street entrance. The buffet area was well lit and seemed clean. The floor seemed a little slippery and it wasn't due to damp/wet tile flooring.
