Reviews for Dominique Ansel Bakery

I was so hyped about the whole cronut thing. This was my second try coming here since the cronuts were sold out the first time. They are around $6.80 for one cornut and it was... nothing that special to me. It was interesting to bite in the croissant texture but have a donut flavor but it's way overpriced compared to what you get out of it. Don't think I will Be back but worth to try once in your life!

I took one bite of the frozen s'more at Dominique Ansel bakery and was instantly so happy, after not being in the best mood. This James Beard award-winning bakery has been on my radar for years and I finally got to visit on this trip to NYC. Unfortunately I did not get to try the cronut. I went in the afternoon during Labor Day Weekend and they were sold out. However, they had plenty of cronuts on a weekday afternoon when I walked by. - Frozen s'more: Such a cool idea. Has Chef Anselm Left the Building? Generally troubling experience at Dominique Anselm's bakery on Spring Street in SOHO this morning. Can't tell if it's COVID staffing (which I could forgive) or if the bakery is simply past its prime and no longer enjoys serving a stream of customers, but both the food and the service were far less than what they were in their heyday. The cronut of the month (which is not yet listed on the website a whole week into September) was fig jam, a full review
