Was in the area and in the mood for pizza. This is near the Whole Foods and Barnes and noble near e 86 train station. I was pleasantly surprised to find a clean pizzeria with friendly staff. There was plenty of seating. The variety on their menu was like Whoa. All kinds of toppings, desserts and prepared dishes. We got a large pie with pepperoni and it was just about $15. Next time I definitely want to have grandma or plan margarita pizza. Everything looked so good.
Original Rome Pizza is delicious! Hands down the best pizza on the upper east side. All of the staff there is attentive and the seating area is very clean compared to most nyc pizzerias. The chicken ceaser slice is delicious! Definitely a must try! Will be going back again soon!

Great spot with HUGE slices in countless varieties. They'll heat it up quickly, toss it on a plate (or in a box, if necessary), and you can munch it down on foot. Quintessential NY pies!
