Super cheap. Friendly staff. The fish was just not very fresh. The crispy rice in the rolls did not remain crispy for long. Couldn’t finish the food.

Good quality sushi at a great value. They have been consistent since opening (location aside). This is mainly a take out spot, there is a shelf to dine-in but definitely nothing fancy.Cash only and a fee of 15% for Venmo.

The guy at the register was really sweet and the place is small but my friend and I expected the food to be better due to the other reviews. Starting off with the good, I liked the salmon roll, but other than that the rice was mushy, not like typical sushi rice, and the tuna had a weird texture. I eat a lot of sushi and maybe we stopped by at a bad time it was $26.90 for seven sushi rolls: salmon, tuna, spicy tuna, spicy roll, two shrimp tempura, and a California roll. A great deal but unfortunately upset our stomachs and couldn’t finish the rest. Again the staff was sweet, just wish the food met our expectations.

We got the salmon tray & spicy box set and it was a perfect portion for 2 people with a decent price! The space is very small and cramped so we ate it at the Central Park which was only 10 min walk. Overall enjoyed it and will definitely visit again!Oh, bring cash if you are planning to visit. They only accept cash.

The staff needs to hire one more person or focus on production of sushi. But overall it was good food, sadly the long 30+ wait time must be accounted for. This is a business, and there must be a respect for time.

I was very skeptical about this place because it looks like a whole in the wall in the middle of the UES but wow did they surprise me. The establishment is cash only and there's not much space to eat there so they're ideal to go and the sushi is fresh, delicious and super affordable. The girl in the front was kind (looked to be a teenager helping out for the day to which I assume it's a family business) but the owner who makes the sushi was also very kind and accommodating to my requests. My sushi was made fairly quick and I devoured it. Def recommend it and would come by every time I'm in the area!

Is this the best sushi? No. But it's the best and freshest sushi you're going to get at this price and even that is an understatement. I got the triple box (spicy- you can also get non spicy), which came with a spicy tuna roll, a spicy salmon roll, spicy yellowtail roll and then (1) piece of salmon sushi, (1) piece of tuna sushi and (1) piece of yellowtail sushi all for $14.95 ($16.28 with tax)!!! The rolls itself are good- a little smaller than a regular roll but still very tasty. The 3 pieces of sushi were really good though! The fish was all very fresh and tasty. Service was great- my order was ready within 10min of ordering. Cash only!

Love this place! It's become one of my regulars for sushi. The sushi is surprisingly good quality for the price, which you honestly can't find anywhere else. The owner is friendly, and explains things easily. I've gotten many of the boxes before. The place is on the smaller side but there is a table to eat in, or you can take out. The service is super quick as well

(Cash only)Fast, super affordable, and friendly. The spicy tuna/spicy salmon were my favorite. The eel and avocado didn't have a lot of eel so I'd pass on that the next time.
