Degelijke bowlingbaan, jammer genoeg in ongezellig licht. Maar daarmee is al het negatieve meteen gezegd, want de bar en de rest van de zaal is wel erg gezellig. En vooral ook super vriendelijke bediening aan de inkom met medewerkers die een oplossing zoeken voor een probleem en flexibel zijn. Bij onze eerste poging vorige week wees men ons er al op dat we na 7 pm niet konden blijven omdat mijn zonen nog geen 21 jaar zijn. Fair.
Decent bowling lane. Not as new and shiny as some of the others in the city, but it’s what you expect. Had to wait 30mins for a lane to play on, which wasn’t bad considering they don’t have a ton of lanes. We sat in the restaurant area and had a drink while we waited. Not a ton of options, fairly basic bar food.The rental shoes were clean and in good shape, but I wish I had known that they let you wear your own sneakers on the lanes. My friends and I happened to stumble upon The Gutter the other night. We walked past its small, nondescript lobby with stairs down to a basement, providing little hints as to what the place was like. We decided that bowling would make for a fun evening, so we walked in, surprisingly had our bags checked by a security guard, and headed down to the subterranean main space.
