I'm going to write a positive review so I don't get antagonized at work like my last job (ifykyk).But this place is actually great! Come here often after work and the vibes are great and drinks are good as well.
When we first heard about The Tippler, it was pre-pandemic and was still a speakeasy where you had a password to get in. During a trip to Manhattan, we went through the “secret entrance” in the Chelsea Market, but the bar was closed and wouldn’t open for several hours, so it became a “next time” destination. Randomly stumbled upon this gem last weekend on a Sat, 2/17. Got here around 6pm and left around 10p. The traffic picked up between 8-9p. All the bartenders were professional and friendly. But CJ Is by far the best and my favorite bartender. He makes a great French 75. He made sure I was well taken care of. I came alone so whenever I stepped away he would cover my drink for me.
