Blue Ribbon Sushi & Sake Reviews
VERY SMALL VENUE 2 BOOTHS AND 8 COUNTER SEATS. VERY MUCH ONE ON ONE WITH SUSHI CHEF AND WAITRESS. VERY ACCOMODATING WITH OMAKASE SINCE I DO NOT EAT SHELL FISH. YOU COME THERE FOR THE FOOD AND THE EXPERIENCE. NOT INEXPENSIVE THOUGH
So this is the best nyc sushi and I see why. It was super delicious, and nice service
Visited with friend in May. Amazing experience. Great selection of Sushi and Sashimi. Amazing Sake. Not a lot of sitting area yet feels cozy. The chefs are interacting with everybody and quite friendly. Highly recommend.

Blue Ribbon Sushi & Sake offers good sashimi and excellent service in a cozy, intimate space. Guests recommend the 18 piece sashimi, seaweed salad, salmon sushi roll, and prawn roll, all praised for their high quality. The restaurant is small with only 12 seating areas, making guests feel welcomed and well taken care of. The fish and sake are always fresh and of the highest quality, and the staff, including the sushi chef and servers, are professional and attentive. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, creating a special dining experience. The venue is named after the late Master Sushi Chef Toshi Ueki and is led by their director of sushi, offering an exquisite environment that stands out among NYC's sushi spots. Many customers find the experience exceptional, with top-notch food and service that make guests feel at home. Sitting at the counter is highly recommended for the best experience.
The restaurant is described as intimate, with a comfortable, quiet, and attractive ambiance. The service is friendly and excellent, with a well-informed waitress and welcoming sushi masters. The sushi and sashimi are of the usual high quality associated with Blue Ribbon, with the sushi platter offering more interesting variety. Customers have enjoyed the omakase option and plan to return.
