The food and service were both excellent. The crispy cauliflower appetizer and stewed goat main were both standouts! The naan was unreal. Highly recommend!

Good food, I really wish they had more options in the menu specially for appetizers. Nevertheless, the food is tasty and should be given a try.

Will caveat this review by saying we ordered takeout. However, I would expect the quality to remain the same but to our utter disappointment, this was terrible. We ordered aloo paratha, butter chicken, malai kebab, naan, lacha paratha and biryani. Everything lacked flavor - aloo paratha was mostly all dough, butter chicken did not taste the way it’s supposed to, and malai kebab was ok but nothing to rave about. The lacha paratha and naan were sub-par. Don’t think we will ever go again.

This is a wonderful hole in the wall. The food is always spiced in a tempting and interesting ways. And the staff cares about you and the food.

Such an excellent place with wonderful food. The first time we went, a while ago, we just walked in and had dinner...now it appears you cannot do that as the place is small and packed. So do get yourself a reservation. Or if you haven't had the foresight to do that, you can take the same food home as I just did. I loved the dals, particularly the tadka and every biryani I have tried. The service is smooth and friendly, and my take out order came quickly and was so well-wrapped that it was still quite warm after a slow bus ride in chilly weather. I plan to go back as often as I can....(or take out) -------------------- Second and third time, I tried new things, just as great. I really like this place and will keep coming back. The staff is really welcoming.

I visit Veeray da Dhaba with not very high expectations because frankly speaking it’s very difficult to find good Indian food outside South Asia. But I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food at this place. I had ordered saag paneer which was flavorful and had a freshness to it that is rare to find in curries in Indian restaurants. The lime soda was refreshing too with just the right amount of tanginess and spiciness to it. Serving size was pretty decent. Rotis were hot and crispy. Service was friendly and efficient. I found the ambience warm and unpretentious. And above all, that pretty decent meal with a drink costed me just 20+ bucks — so easy on the pocket too. I look forward to visiting it again on my next visit to the town.

WOW! Insanely authentic and tasteful Indian cuisine. I highly recommend this place whether it’s your first time trying Indian or your 20th time. The menu comprises select dishes because they pride themselves on serving dishes that they make perfectly. It was my first time trying goat and I was so happy I took our waiters recommendation to order the Bhuna Goat curry. Super awesome staff which just added to the experience! I wish I could order something new and eat at this cozy establishment every week!

Amazing smells greet you when you walk in this quaint gem of a restaurant! The butter chicken is phenomenal- nice and spicy! The chili/garlic naan is an excellent choice with this meal. Superior service by Sanjida and recommendation on the meal.

Absolutely incredible Indian food! I moved to the city and was in search for Indian food that reminded me of my favorite Indian restaurant in London (Dishoom). The food here is spot on! The vibes are very low key and casual, and food is great and the service is amazing. I ordered the Saag Paneer, Butter Naan, and Chai Masal. The prices are also fantastic for New York. I will be returning and ordering everything on the menu (slowly)

This is my go-to Indian spot. I have ordered lunch from here multiple times because the food is so good that I just want to keep coming back to try more dishes. Everything I have tried is always so flavorful and perfectly spiced. I can't wait to dine in & try the dishes once they are straight out of the kitchen.

One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve ever had in Manhattan! Amazing food and tea. My friends who are from India took me here and I was so impressed with everything. From the service to the food and the place is so small and cute. There was a whole section for vegetarian options which made it so hard to decide on which to try. We did family style and had a bit of it all. They also went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and brought my friends cake out with and audio playing the happy birthday song! So so sweet. Can’t wait to come back here again!
