Ordered a Caprese salad . It arrived with 4 slices of unripe tomatoes and some mozzarella . Horrible ! A lot of nerve charging $14 . Called to complain and was told “ that’s how we make it” .

Great phone skills Fantastic ambiance Incredible menu Painful execution of cooking pizza, "like no other" as stated on the menu is indeed a true statement; Asked for crispy pizza received raw and doughy Fried dough was rubbery (I'll wait for the fair) Just a let down as we just moved in the neighborhood and we're excited on a slow Wednesday night to try them as they are usually packed. Possibly the second string kitchen staff or benchwarmers were filling in.

I thought the pizza was really good compared to other local options. When I walked at 11:45 am on a Tuesday, the bar area was full of people while the rest of the restaurant appeared empty! Super noisy! Maybe there was an event or business party? Seemed like a good sign. Since I was picking up, I just walked over to the cash register and pulled out my cash, since there was a sign notifying you of a 3% surcharge on card charges. Pizza came out hot and smelling delicious! I ordered a large but since there is thick crust, and a 8-slice pizza, it seemed to be what a size medium would look like. The crust was flavorful and crispy on the bottom, but chewy on the sides and top. The crust was thick! There wasn't a lot of cheese grease dripping off, which is a good thing. I felt that the sauce was bland and not very thick, so a little disappointed about that but it wasn't a deal breaker. At $2.50 per topping, the toppings were well-distributed and fresh, so that was good. All in all a very good pizza. It was around $26 for a "large, three topping, 8-slice pizza, for take out" and we really enjoyed it especially since many of the other pizza places near Niskayuna/NE Schenectady are don't sell the style of pizza we like. I understand the positive reviews and happy to have discovered this place close to home.

I have eaten dinner at this restaurant many times over the years. It is a very popular place for traditional Italian fare and the only restaurant in this part of town. Service is prompt and attentive. The decor has a vintage-industrial vibe, with big photos relating to Schenectady's historic industrial past. The high ceiling is metal, which can sometimes amplify noise from the dining room. I would go here on a casual date, or with friends and family, but there are probably better options for a quiet, romantic dinner for two.The food. The pasta and pizza are stalwarts done well. I have noticed that families often get pizza for the kids while the adults enjoy the pasta entrees. I have enjoyed the spinach balsamic chicken salad as a light main on many occasions. It's a large salad with plenty of pieces of nicely-cooked chicken breast. The Haddock Mediterranean and the Chicken Milanese were disappointing. The fish and the chicken are both breaded, then sauteed. The breading is meant to keep the fish and moist during cooking, and to provide a crispy texture for each bite. But in both cases my plate was swimming in a watery lemon-butter sauce. The breading was a mush. For me, this drenching ruined my enjoyment.I do not understand why the kitchen would drown these two dishes like this. Doing so ruins the whole point of the breading. Do they do it to try and disguise overcooking? Or is this just "the way it's done here?" These items have been on the menu for years, so diners must like them.I stick to the parms, the Marsala, and the pastas, which are all very tasty and generously portioned.Kid-friendliness: A popular place for families with young children. Kids can get pizza while parents enjoy pasta or other mains. The staff is used to families and is very welcoming.

This is such a cool neighborhood spot! Lots of tasty Italian choices and a few local beers. They offer pickup (5 minutes from our home so that works for us) but not delivery the dining area is always crowded and loud cause it's good food! We wish they had a few more tables.

Pricey Italian establishment with authentic tasting red sauce. Husbands NYStrip steak was so tender he cut it with a fork! Very hot bread which was refilled multiple times and very tasty! Ask for more dressing on your salad as it will come out with the bare minimum. All in all, worth the
