“Comfortable. Very clean. Service was great, food was very good also. Usually there is a wait to get in, so we went early and there was no wait. Bit pricey but in the end worth it. $3.50 for a cup of coffee was the only thing I really didn't like. I will return but won't order the coffee. Our food is not listed below but we had Western omelett, eggs Benedict and a side of French toast all very good.“
“Decided to get serious with my coffee habit and quit using sub-par supermarket coffee. Searched all of Buffalo for a quality coffee roaster and decided to try this place first based on reviews -- and I'm glad I did. Picked up a bag of Hawaiian Kona and one of Ethiopian Yirgacheffe and both are OUTSTANDING. This is a rare gem on the east side of Buffalo I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is serious about coffee.“
“It's your typical Greasy Spoon Diner. Great food at reasonable prices. The country breakfast consisted of home fries,2 eggs, French toast or pancakes, bacon, ham, or sausage and homemade toast. Delicious! The Greek salad was also very good. My son enjoyed his chicken finger sub and fries. Coffee also was good. All three breakfasts came to $39. Service was great. Just a plain Jane finer with booths and tables. Nothing special. They get you in and out very quickly without rushing you.“
“Nicks place on elmwood has become my #1 place for breakfast. Hands down the best service and staff around. The food is next level when it comes to consistency and presentation nick is on point. I highly recommend if you haven’t already you give the is place a try!“
“The food was pretty decent & no wait altho people were coming & going. Interesting, eclectic Cafe that seems to have been around a while. The staff leave a lot to be desired. Hard to imagine people expect you to hand over money to them when they can barely speak a civil word to you let alone make basic pleasantries. I mean, like, hello I used to work in restaurants & it was "hi! How are you today??", "how's everything, you traveling? O yeah, how are you enjoying it here??". And no they were not that busy to smile & I cannot imagine the entire staff was having a bad morning. They easily & cherrily chatted among themselves about their personal business. Seemed like work was the last thing on their minds.“
“We have been enjoying the breakfast/lunch spot for years. Homemade food prepared well and friendly informed servers to make the experience even better. We have never been disappointed.Vegetarian options: Many of the food options can be vegetarian.Kid-friendliness: Kid inspired foods.“
“Such a great place to grab breakfast...or lunch! So many delicious options and every cook does a fantastic job preparing everything fresh! The servers are all great...especially Jess!! They do a fantastic job for how busy it always is! If you prefer a quiet place, id come during the week or in the evening! They also have 2 separate rooms for larger parties which is great!Kid-friendliness: Kids menus and crayons are available! High chairs and boosters as well that are wiped down after each use!!Wheelchair accessibility: They have no problem accommodating...wheelchairs, walkers and service animals are welcome!“
“UPDATE- visit on 2/25/24. What has happened to this place? It used to be nice and unique with good food. Today was not a good example. It was not overly busy. We did not even have to wait for a table for four of us. We ordered and got our water and juice right away, but then waited almost 45 minutes for our food. Nothing hard or time-consuming to make either! Just eggs and a BLT with fries! The fries were actually cold, like they were the first thing done, and then had to wait for the bacon?! The waitress, Danielle, was nice and friendly enough. She did bring another order of hot fries. The prices are a bit high, $7 for a glass of juice! I guess that is the cost of fresh squeezed! Eggs benedict was $18! Unfortunately, food was nothing special considering the price and the long wait. Perhaps only one cook today?! No apologies for the wait either. Oh well, another place that is losing its charm here in Buffalo. Probably will not return.Nice variety, very cool atmosphere. Love the floats. Owner is very personable and isn't afraid to take orders and deliver meals. It was nice that he stopped and chatted with us a bit and made sure we enjoyed our lunch to say hi to everyone when he can.“
“We were in Fort Erie today to visit our son. He said he'd heard of this diner that was supposed to be very good but he'd never been there. So that's where we went. The North End Diner. What a lucky break for us. We loved it there. I had the most incredible breakfast called the Hat Trick. The best breakfast I've had in years. Sarah, who took care of us was really really nice.Strongly recommend the North End Diner! Just a heads up though they only take cash.“
“We were so excited to find this place. The outside was adorable as was the space inside. Lisa, the owner, takes great pride in her business. The place was filled with chatty, friendly locals and the food was top notch. We have one more morning here before we head back home and we will be visiting this cafe again!“
“I had never had a crepe before and oh my goodness!!! I am so glad this was my first. I had the banana nuetella crepe and it was absolutely amazing! I got it on doordash and sadly it wasn't picture perfect by the time it arrived to me but I could just imagine. I'll have to come in person to get a better picture than what I did.“
“I tried them for the first time today, after seeing them on Facebook for days and yes the food was really good and it actually looked like the pictures I got the big girl breakfast and me and my daughter ate it together !!! The owner was friendly and came out twice , I’m a picky eater but it’s definitely good soul food breakfastKid-friendliness: We got a eggroll for my daughter it was good“
“wish i could give more than 5 stars especially for atmosphere! what a cute and welcoming place to eat. breakfast was delicious and staff was very kind! i can’t wait to go back and try more eggs, i got a side of scrambled eggs that were so creamy and delicious.“
“Consistently good food and service. Probably why tables are often full.Potato pancakes are sublime, thin with crispy edges. Buckwheat pancakes, so hard to find, appear here.Take the extra time if you can and order the apple pancake (big enough to share) or the Dutch Baby. Treat yourself, life is short.“
“As Canadians, we love eating at IHOP when we're in the US. This restaurant had great food as always - generous portions and tasty dishes. Server was attentive and professional. Dining room and bathroom weren't as clean as I'd like but we still had an enjoyable experience.“
“Finally was able to stop by for brunch with the wife! Overall fantastic experience. Cute and cozy, and staff was beyond friendly. The stuffed French toast with the freshest fruit was to die for. I had a Ruben for breakfast and it was perfect. Reasonably priced as well. Thank you for being the new best brunch place in NT! We will definitely be back!“
