“Went for the first time yesterday and it was fantastic. The homemade pita chips were my absolute favorite. We got the Greek nachos on the homemade pita chips and I already want another order! I got the Tedspread and it was delicious! The Greek fries had a little too much tomato & onion for my personal preference but next time I’ll just ask for less. The service was great and the food was delicious.“
“Olympia Grill is the best Greek I’ve ever had. The staff is incredibly nice, helpful and respectful. I will max out my credit card here. I recommend to all my friends now. I love this place. I wish my chicken souvlaki was never ending. Just wow. If you’re thinking of going, just do it.“
“Delicious foo, great service, welcoming atmosphere! that is what my sister and I found today when we needed a late lunch or maybe it was an early supper. Whatever it was, it was delivered to our table within a few minutes and we enjoyed every bite!“
“I have been searching for a couple decades trying to find Greek food that would compare to a restaurant that was on Elmwood Ave but closed many years ago. My search is over! Greek On The Street is seriously delicious food! The chicken souvlaki wrap is loaded with chicken strips and comes with fresh cut fries. I finished it off with a generous piece of baklava which also did not disappoint. If you are looking for amazingly delicious Greek food, this is the place!“
“I just read the review about an elderly man that frequents the restaurant and the staff taking advantage of him. That is completely FALSE! That is a terrible way to express your opinion! I am also a longtime customer, I know Jim and he gives money to the staff. I have witnessed the staff refuse this money and he threw an absolute fit! Caused a scene in the restaurant and yelled its HIS money and he will do what he pleases with it. He comes in almost daily AND the girls have called his daughter to make her aware of this.As far as his dementia, why would you all let him drive to the restaurant twice a day? I myself am here almost everyday and sometimes sit with him. He is a funny and wonderful man. He loves the staff and hugs all of them before he leaves. And myself. So your review is distasteful and wrong. Gets your facts straight before you try and ruin a business!“
“I ordered Chicken Slovakia in both salad and wrap. My partner loved the wrap and I enjoyed the salad! The Baklava was the best I’ve ever had! The food was ready when I came to pick it up and the person who cashed me out was very nice! I love the remodeled look!“
“Mythos does have a few gluten items...I hope they can expand the gluten free menu.Avoid busy times...as the service tends to lag...Dietary restrictions: Mythos ...hopefully will add some more gluten free items ...If you've got food allergies/restrictions.....I recommend that you visit when it's not busy...So that you can be better accommodated...“
“Nicks place on elmwood has become my #1 place for breakfast. Hands down the best service and staff around. The food is next level when it comes to consistency and presentation nick is on point. I highly recommend if you haven’t already you give the is place a try!“
“This food was incredible!! You get so much food for what you pay for. I got the small Greek salad and that could easily feed two people as a starter salad or one person (plus potentially leftovers) for dinner. All of the ingredients were so fresh and tasty. The gyro I ordered was also amazing and I even ate it a day old (don't tell the owners - I'm sure they would be disappointed ;) ) because I was in a rush and it was still absolutely incredible. I need to find my way back to town to have this again!!“
“Best Restaurant in town ?they put some breakfast items back on the lunch dinner menu.Sunday hours are rough, I normally don't eat dinner at 2:30 in the afternoon.5 days a week til 8Would enjoy Mondays, tooYummy Yumminess ?The Staff, 2nd too noneParking: Plenty of room ?“
“I grew up in NYC but have lived in rural PA for most of my adult life. I have not had Greek food this good in forever! We were on the way back from Niagara Falls and decided to stop to eat. We were seated immediately, our server was friendly and observant, the food came out so quickly! I was just amazed, and I wish I lived closer to go more often. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend this restaurant!!“
“I was not in the mood for Greek, but my family was. Although I wasn’t gonna get anything to eat, I decided on the fish wrap just to experiment. The young lady at the counter said they use Haddock and I love haddock. I was concerned about the rap because sometimes at these Greek places they’re hard and crispy because they’re stale. This was not the case it was fresh and soft. I was very surprised by how much I enjoyed it. The employees were extremely cordial and informative on how long it may take to cook. The rice pudding was creamy and done correctly. Now I will definitely go back.“
“Hidden Gem....I usually get the salads or stir fry's. Never disappointed! Small facility but great staff, some would say a hole in the wall. But I say it had character and great vibes !!! Not a sit down spot, only issue. Oh and the hours!!“
“My husband and I were driving down Kenmore Ave last night when we noticed a sign outside the restaurant that Fish Fry Fridays are back! It's been forever since we've had one and we have been talking about craving one for awhile now, so it was perfect. This is easily one of my favorite fish fries in the city. The fish is a large haddock filet (12 oz if I remember correctly). I had panko breaded and my husband had battered. There were also some nice broiled options on the menu, like Cajun, lemon pepper and Mediterranean. The sides are unique and make this place stand out. Instead of the typical macaroni salad and coleslaw, you have a choice of 2 from: Greek or chef salad, cup of soup (lentil and avgolemono last night), Greek potatoes, or French fries. I had Greek potatoes and the delicious lentil soup that the chef told us was his mother's recipe from Greece. I decided to write this review because my hubby and I were just talking again about how good it was and how we already want to go back for more. A large delicious piece of crispy fried fish with Greek salad and French fries? Yum!“
“They really nailed the late 1970s Soviet vibe. It's weird and welcoming at the same time. It smells like onion and meat outside and when you first walk in. I know that's an odd observation, but it's the same smell every time. Reminds me of Bubbe's house. Oddly comforting. The food is really good and pretty cheap. Their breakfast is what I go for, eggs toast bacon and coffee. Had cabbage rolls there once, was great. Homemade soups are good, too. The help is pleasant. Sorry I don't have a picture. But check it out for something different.“
“Best factor is convenience. The location near Main and Bailey was easy to get to. Parking is also easy. Food was definitely good. Great for pickup! We went in and ordered at the counter, which took a while longer than I would imagine. Atmosphere was a little odd and not a focus apparently. If a factor to you, so be it. But the food was good.“
“I was here with friends this past Sunday. It was noon, so it was incredibly busy. We waited for about 15 minutes for our table, which isn't bad at all, considering how packed they were. Our waitress came over immediately and throughout the meal ensured our every need was met. I ordered the open face gyro souvlaki, which I've had from here before, so I already knew it'd be good. And it was! The gyro meat was seasoned well and the side of tzaziki sauce really gave it an extra depth of flavor. Unfortunately, my friends didn't fare as well. My one friend ordered BBQ chicken fingers and received hot. Her daughter ordered a side of fries that didn't come out until the very end. It wasn't great, but they were so busy that I'm not shocked. I've always loved it here, especially since it's not your average run of the mill Greek diner. The menu has a lot of great options apart from the standard breakfast fare, which is especially important because I'm gluten free and can't eat anything with it in there. The food is always good and comes out sooner than you think it will. The waitstaff is friendly and the prices are decent. I recommend this restaurant.“
“I had never gone here before, but I had a house full of people on Sunday during the Bills game and no plan for food. We wanted Greek food, and most Greek restaurants are closed on Sunday- so we happened by this option simply because they were open, and I sure am glad we did! I still haven't stopped talking about it! We got the souvlaki family meal deal and we were SO IMPRESSED. I called to order it and they said it would be ready in 20 minutes! A full dinner for 6 (in our case, it fed 6 adults AND 2 children) in 20 minutes for less than $80?? I was a bit skeptical, but as soon as I picked it up, I could smell that we were in for a treat! The food was delicious! Fresh, flavourful, clearly homemade. We enjoyed the Greek dressing and tzatziki, the potatoes, as well as the tender, well seasoned meats for the salad. The rice pudding was perfect. We will absolutely be doing this again, we plan to add it to our regular rotation for family get togethers. Thank you!“
“Great place to eat excellent food quality huge menu. Breakfast lunch & dinner always top Koch! Take out great. Staff always friendly helpful knowledgeable, very clean in & out. Air quality always comfortable. Parking lot maintained plowed salted. Summer patio ??This is one of the restaurants you want as a favorite.“
“I love the falafel pita sandwich they have here. And I recently tried their falafel rice bowl, which was also very tasty. And I like to get the rice pudding on occasion, which is also yummy. I've never had a bad thing here, basically.I had a falafel rice bowl from another restaurant, which was good, but heavy and on the greasy side. The falafel rice bowl from Rachel's is definitely not heavy or greasy at all. It tastes healthy and doesn't make me feel so full that I can't finish it all. Also, it doesn't upset my stomach at all. I'm a little lactose intolerant, but whatever tahini sauce they use on top is super friendly to my stomach, unlike other eateries in the area which use a thicker, richer tahini sauce.“
“Very friendly staff that was willing to make accommodations for me for my diet and allergies. Felt very welcome and not a burden for asking. Had a good amount of vegan options Will eat here again.Vegetarian options: Pita, Baklava, falafel, wraps, salads, hummus, etc.Dietary restrictions: I’m allergic to cashews and pistachios. Never got to try Baklava before and was excited to find that not only was it vegan friendly, but they had a pistachio-free option for me too! I was shocked. I’m also vegan and they made sure I had a delicious hearty meal for me free of meat or dairy.“
“In town from Chicago for a hockey tourney. Stopped in for breakfast. Staff was very friendly. Menu is thorough. Met the owner. Solid down to earth guy. Food was ordered, made quickly, and tasted delicious. Totally recommended if you’re hungry and looking for a classic diner.“
“Bacon and cheese omelet was very good, only wish they had cheddar cheese. Very clean interior. Timely ordering, receiving, refilling coffee, and take-away of plates. Some prior reviews not so good, but appears to have been corrected. My elderly mother really enjoyed her experience there.“
“It's been a Long time since I've eaten here. My family and I decided to go on a Friday night for a fish fry! They were huge and I was told they were really good. I myself got the Mediterranean salad! Not only was it delicious but the portion of salad and the amount of ingredients was huge and the price was very reasonable. Tonight we got take out there! Very good! Guess we'll be eating some leftovers tomorrow!“
“Went here to eat with a friend for breakfast was more than satisfied with the service and the food. Has that old school diner feel which makes it even better. I will be back with the family and the prices are very reasonable! The only issue we had was that we paid $1 extra for fresh strawberries and they were clearly frozen then thawed. Other than that it’s been a great experience every time we visit“
“Right on Main Street is this smallish Greek restaurant, with outdoor seating available in fair weather. It was a buzzing place and the high ceilings in this old Starbucks created a rather noisy atmosphere- not so loud you couldn't converse though. Our party of three was delighted by the kind service and the food was delish. The attached photos paint the best picture of the bagel sandwich, American breakfast and amazing yogurt and granola parfait. With honey. Yum!! The table next to us had a slight spill of water and did the employees spring into action with great finesse and kindness! Cleaned up respectfully and that was that. Very impressive teamwork. Can't wait to try this place when we can sit on the patio!“
“You should I had taken a picture of our meals but I totally forgot, but went with my partner and we both got one of the salads. I had the Gyro salad and they got the Chicken Souvlaki salad. They were massive and delicious. I didn’t even think the container of Greek dressing they gave would be enough, but it managed to do the job. Mines was served with a mixture of beef and lamb and theirs obviously had chicken on it. Prices were very good and food came up quick. I would definitely recommend this place and look forward to trying other things on their menu.“
“We were rather disappointed to not be able to enjoy the Greek platter due to a lack of one important part of the platter, so ordered other dishes, which were satisfactory, though not what we wanted to celebrate a birthday with. The French onion soup ís delicious!“
