Pancakes are great, but table syrup is the only option. The menu options are substantial but we settled on the four cheese omelette and the banana, nut, and caramel French toast. My mom really loved her French toast! It was flavorful and cooked nicely. She enjoyed her coffee as well. I did not order coffee as I felt the prices were a bit high. My four cheese omelet was ok, it definitely could have been hotter when it arrived at the table and the cheese was not sufficiently melted for my taste. That being said, it tasted fine and i enjoyed the cheese combination. The home fries were cooked perfectly and the toast was good. The service was great, except the server did not come back and check on how the food was, as I am accustomed to. I’m not sure I would have asked her to have them beat my omelet more but I do like to have the opportunity. The vibe in this restaurant is pretty cool, I like the color scheme and the general setup. So fluffy and delicious.I also just enjoyed a takeout peameal and egg sandy on rye with spinach, tomato, and onion.The food here is really good. The quality is excellent, ingredients are FRESH, portions are a great size, and meals are tasty, uncomplicated, and unpretentious.This is not the place for your ‘gourmet’ breakfast. “My wife and I were there for breakfast as she found this place for something local to try and we were not disappointed at all. Ambience and decor is amazing just like the old " sock hop" days. Service was wonderful friendly ( thanks to all the ladies especially Shy , if we have that correct hopefully. My wife ordered the eggs benedict with the eggs medium-hard they came as she ordered and I had the scrambler dish which came out sizzling in the pan just as it should be.Amazing home fries just as they should be made with real potatoes.
