Bistro 44 in Northport offers a lovely dining experience with excellent food. The back garden is perfect for al fresco dining, and the steak, short ribs, and salmon were all delicious. The dessert with the cigar was amazing. While the service was good, there were some minor issues with the busboy not offering bottled water and refilling glasses promptly. The butternut squash soup was okay, but the pork orzo bucco was outstanding. The restaurant can get noisy at times, especially with larger parties. Overall, Bistro 44 is a great upscale option in Northport for a nice pre-theatre dinner.
