“This is the only deli in the village of nyack N.Y. , that I order egg sandwich's from. I have been eating here for over 30 years now. A Korean couple, Mr and Mrs Kim own and operate this business for over 40 years now. They are kind and efficient both as owners and humans :) They have a special lunch item discounted Mon-Fri, each day a different specific item as listed on their menu. From chicken parm- philly cheese steak to macaroni and cheese. All of there limited specials are fresh and very good. The prices are the cheapest in nyack- for amazing quality food that truly is a "HOLE IN THE WALL" located on South Franklin St. It looks run down, but I assure you it is a clean operation the Kim's run here. Lastly, the coffee is the best in nyack and they are always happy to brew a fresh pot for you as you wait. The Kims are getting up in age though and any day now they are going to return to their mother country, Korea, and shut down the business. This may happen any day and probably will occur with no notice, as I have spoken to them about this. So, while this little old school style deli is still in operation, take advantage of it and grab your self a hot dish special, or perhaps a Bacon Egg n Cheese w/ Extra cheese n Salt n Pepper... w/ a hut cop of Nyack's best coffee for under five bucks. These places do not exist anymore and I repeat- They will close any day and it will be no more. Cheers! :):):):):):):)“

“Tried this place impulsively and happy I did.Delicious classic breakfast sandwichs quicker than any other bagel spot in the area and noticeably cheaper. The sausage egg and cheese has some bit of spice and or seasoning that was awesome. Highly recommend over Nyack Hot Bagels“

“Don’t buy backwoods from there they will sell you a pack of 5 but only four in pack and won’t give you another will give you a stale single go to smoke shop they will reimburse you or give you a fresh new pack do not waste money on Murray’s backwoods!!!!“

“An old school authentic Italian deli run by mom, dad, and their son. The food is outstanding, I had an Italian Combo and my wife had a turkey sub, there was no skimping on the ingredients, WOW! As for the pizza ? we traveled here from Cape Cod in search of the best pizza from Rockland County NY through Bergen County NJ. We eventually landed here at Petrillos and met John and his parents working behind the counter. An old school hard-working family making traditional pizzas. We were blown away by what they had created, a super tasty combination of classic sauce and the perfect amount of cheese on a slightly crispy underbody with a soft but crisp crust. We ordered 13 pizzas that day, 10 plain,1 green pepper & onion, and 2 chicken cutlet and cherry pepper. After trying the Chicken cutlet and cherry pepper I called the next morning and ordered 3 more...wow it was awesome. Upon picking up the pizzas Sunday morning we discovered John making breakfast on the flat-top grill so my wife ordered French toast and bacon, yum! We gave this establishment a 5-star review but on a scale of 1-10 we gave our highest review 9.8 only because there has to be room for something higher, we just haven't found it yet. “This is the spot. We are new to Dobbs ferry and I popped in today for a sandwich. Woman behind the counter was very kind in explaining what the most popular wedges are. Landed on an #11 which is chicken cutlet, American, bacon, bbq. Was top class. Not new to New York deli scene at all and they edged out another top spot a few towns over due to the crispy bacon. They know what they’re doing here don’t think you can wrong with anything on the menu. Lots of locals stopping in to pick up orders.Parking: Easy and free 15 min town street parkingKid-friendliness: They’ll make whatever you want. Picky eater would be easy to satisfy here“

“Best deli sandwiches I've tried so far outside of NYC. That being said, there was a bit of a delay with my pickup since I used their actual website and not one of the delivery apps. Sounded like they had forgotten to check it, I imagine the apps get way more traffic. A bit annoying but they quickly made it on the spot and apologized.Anyways, we ordered a pastrami and Italian sandwich. The pastrami sandwich was 4.5/5, a good amount of meat, nice crispy edges, but maybe a hair too salty on some bites. Paired it with some home made spicy mayo and it brought it to 5/5. Definitely getting this again.The Italian was solid and provided loads of meat. We enjoyed it but personally would have liked a tad more oil and vinegar. We gave this a 4/5.Both sandwiches are so packed that they can easily be split up into 2 pieces (maybe even 3 depending on who's eating it). So great option for leftovers.Recommend coming here if you're in the neighborhood looking for a great sub.“

“Came in with no expectations and was very happily surprised at how welcoming and helpful the staff was. I got a bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel and an iced coffee. The food was delicious and perfectly priced. The coffee also exceeded my expectations and was tasty. The food also came out very quickly and they even let me eat before paying. Would definitely recommend trying it out!“

“Some of the best tacos I've had on the East coast. These are on par with California and Texas tacos. Most of the tacos in NYC and NY and terrible, but not Los Ferchos. This is a great family run deli, with the whole family helping to make super authentic tacos in the back. The staff is super friendly, and they even have a couple tables inside and outside for you to enjoy your food. They also make homemade ice pops and they have some very niche authentic Mexican food items too like Oaxaca cheese and Mexican desserts. Easily the best tacos in the Hudson Valley, and maybe NY too.“

“It’s been very hard to find good cheese anywhere. The Fiore di Sardegna is fresh and abundant here! The frozen dinners tasted fresh after heating, olives and mozzarella were amazing, olive oil was full flavored, and the homemade pasta is outrageous! Love this place! “Local spot that makes really good Italian sandwiches. They get pretty busy during lunch, so if you are tight on time, i recommend calling in your order. The staff is always friendly and happy to recommend something. I usually order The Sicilian (vegetarian) or the Al Pacino (chicken). These are not "light" sandwiches. I always think i can eat one, but end up saving half for a 2nd meal. Ask them to put the sandwiches in the panini press, much better that way.“

“When I first stepped in. I knew what I was getting myself into. A family run store, that will question you if they can tell you're not from the area, however they still make you feel like a local. The owners are some of the nicest people I've met. Being a first time customer of theirs they made me feel like I was a regular. Service was unbelievable good.Now the food. Oh my heaven. “My Daughter ordered this Roast Beef dinner with the works. The roast beef was very tender and tasty and the gravy was an added bonus! The mashed potatoes were smooth and silky and delicious. “Belle Vita has been under new ownership for a couple of years. The former owners would be pleased. Not only can you get wonderful authentic Italian meats, cheeses and desserts. But!!!! I have to send special thanks. My mom is 90, almost 91. For Christmas she asked for an Italian EASTER holiday specialty, a pie/quiche.It had been so long since she saw one she mixed up Holidays. I called Belle Vita. The very kind young man I spoke to advised it was for Easter. This being my second Christmas as a widow, it was already difficult. And I wanted to give my Mom anything I could. I was not nice when they said only at Easter. I had to call back and apologize. About 5 minutes later my phone said Sally Boys Deli was calling me. My mothers name is Sally. Apparently the new owners have another deli with that name elsewhere. But It was Chris from Belle Vita. They were going to make me the dish for Mom. When one is a widow, and Mom is 90, all you want is to make her happy. So Belle Vita, Happy 2024, Thank you. :)“

“I was greeted warmly and treated with courtesy, efficiency and a friendly smile. I ordered 2 meals, one to takeout and the Mac & burger for dine in. I also tried the Illy coffee + add shot of espresso.My meal was delicious, very fresh and flavorful. Fries crispy, just as I had ordered. And the coffee excellent! Odd choice for an Italian sandwich shop, but pop is old and I don’t scoff at anything he does anymore. While he was eating I did something I never do, I asked for a bite. Now I haven’t had tuna fish in over 30 years. He cut me a small piece and passed it over to my plate.Now I need to say, that food is the one thing families have come together over and have since the beginning of time. Back in 2022 we lost mom. When I took a bite of that tuna sandwich, I was immediately transported back to 9 years old eating mom’s tuna.In short…thank you for causing some of the happiest tears I’ve had in a long time and for the trip back in time with a simple and delicious tuna sandwich. It’s just how mom used to make, which is no easy accomplishment.“

“Place seemed clean and the two owners ( educated guess after reading the first review ) seemed nice. But if you order a sandwich , a big part of your order is what you ask for on the sandwich. So, if I say lettuce or tomato or salt , perhaps they could try to remember that. To be fair the roast beef was delicious. And I would go back to try out some of the specials on the board. Also they had soups.“

“The quote "don't judge a book by its cover" would have a photo of this store behind it. From the outside it looks like a broken down deli, no AC, and part of the cooler was out of order, and don't forget the cash only sign. Which had me like I ordered a simply turkey sandwich, Swiss cheese, onions (lots) and mayo. I was pleasantly surprised, now it's no sandwich to go out your way for or by any means the best turkey sandwich I have had, however you won't except something to taste so well from a place that looks like this. There was a sweet taste to the onions and mayo, which boosted the flavor of the turkey. The sandwich was stacked with turkey they definitely aren't cheap when it comes to packing a sandwich. If you only have 5 bucks in cash want something simple to eat as you walk towards the train or to eat on the train a sandwich from here isn't the worse option.“
