“An old school authentic Italian deli run by mom, dad, and their son. The food is outstanding, I had an Italian Combo and my wife had a turkey sub, there was no skimping on the ingredients, WOW! As for the pizza ? we traveled here from Cape Cod in search of the best pizza from Rockland County NY through Bergen County NJ. We eventually landed here at Petrillos and met John and his parents working behind the counter. An old school hard-working family making traditional pizzas. We were blown away by what they had created, a super tasty combination of classic sauce and the perfect amount of cheese on a slightly crispy underbody with a soft but crisp crust. We ordered 13 pizzas that day, 10 plain,1 green pepper & onion, and 2 chicken cutlet and cherry pepper. After trying the Chicken cutlet and cherry pepper I called the next morning and ordered 3 more...wow it was awesome. Upon picking up the pizzas Sunday morning we discovered John making breakfast on the flat-top grill so my wife ordered French toast and bacon, yum! We gave this establishment a 5-star review but on a scale of 1-10 we gave our highest review 9.8 only because there has to be room for something higher, we just haven't found it yet. “This is the spot. We are new to Dobbs ferry and I popped in today for a sandwich. Woman behind the counter was very kind in explaining what the most popular wedges are. Landed on an #11 which is chicken cutlet, American, bacon, bbq. Was top class. Not new to New York deli scene at all and they edged out another top spot a few towns over due to the crispy bacon. They know what they’re doing here don’t think you can wrong with anything on the menu. Lots of locals stopping in to pick up orders.Parking: Easy and free 15 min town street parkingKid-friendliness: They’ll make whatever you want. Picky eater would be easy to satisfy here“

“Came in with no expectations and was very happily surprised at how welcoming and helpful the staff was. I got a bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel and an iced coffee. The food was delicious and perfectly priced. The coffee also exceeded my expectations and was tasty. The food also came out very quickly and they even let me eat before paying. Would definitely recommend trying it out!“

“Some of the best tacos I've had on the East coast. These are on par with California and Texas tacos. Most of the tacos in NYC and NY and terrible, but not Los Ferchos. This is a great family run deli, with the whole family helping to make super authentic tacos in the back. The staff is super friendly, and they even have a couple tables inside and outside for you to enjoy your food. They also make homemade ice pops and they have some very niche authentic Mexican food items too like Oaxaca cheese and Mexican desserts. Easily the best tacos in the Hudson Valley, and maybe NY too.“

“Local spot that makes really good Italian sandwiches. They get pretty busy during lunch, so if you are tight on time, i recommend calling in your order. The staff is always friendly and happy to recommend something. I usually order The Sicilian (vegetarian) or the Al Pacino (chicken). These are not "light" sandwiches. I always think i can eat one, but end up saving half for a 2nd meal. Ask them to put the sandwiches in the panini press, much better that way.“

“When I first stepped in. I knew what I was getting myself into. A family run store, that will question you if they can tell you're not from the area, however they still make you feel like a local. The owners are some of the nicest people I've met. Being a first time customer of theirs they made me feel like I was a regular. Service was unbelievable good.Now the food. Oh my heaven. I like to try bacon eggs and cheeses from every deli I go to, and this one really was up there with one of my favorites. “Belle Vita has been under new ownership for a couple of years. The former owners would be pleased. Not only can you get wonderful authentic Italian meats, cheeses and desserts. But!!!! I have to send special thanks. My mom is 90, almost 91. For Christmas she asked for an Italian EASTER holiday specialty, a pie/quiche.It had been so long since she saw one she mixed up Holidays. I called Belle Vita. The very kind young man I spoke to advised it was for Easter. This being my second Christmas as a widow, it was already difficult. And I wanted to give my Mom anything I could. I was not nice when they said only at Easter. I had to call back and apologize. About 5 minutes later my phone said Sally Boys Deli was calling me. My mothers name is Sally. Apparently the new owners have another deli with that name elsewhere. But It was Chris from Belle Vita. They were going to make me the dish for Mom. When one is a widow, and Mom is 90, all you want is to make her happy. So Belle Vita, Happy 2024, Thank you. :)“

“I was greeted warmly and treated with courtesy, efficiency and a friendly smile. I ordered 2 meals, one to takeout and the Mac & burger for dine in. I also tried the Illy coffee + add shot of espresso.My meal was delicious, very fresh and flavorful. Fries crispy, just as I had ordered. And the coffee excellent! Odd choice for an Italian sandwich shop, but pop is old and I don’t scoff at anything he does anymore. While he was eating I did something I never do, I asked for a bite. Now I haven’t had tuna fish in over 30 years. He cut me a small piece and passed it over to my plate.Now I need to say, that food is the one thing families have come together over and have since the beginning of time. Back in 2022 we lost mom. When I took a bite of that tuna sandwich, I was immediately transported back to 9 years old eating mom’s tuna.In short…thank you for causing some of the happiest tears I’ve had in a long time and for the trip back in time with a simple and delicious tuna sandwich. It’s just how mom used to make, which is no easy accomplishment.“

From the outside it looks like a broken down deli, no AC, and part of the cooler was out of order, and don't forget the cash only sign. Which had me like I ordered a simply turkey sandwich, Swiss cheese, onions (lots) and mayo. I was pleasantly surprised, now it's no sandwich to go out your way for or by any means the best turkey sandwich I have had, however you won't except something to taste so well from a place that looks like this. There was a sweet taste to the onions and mayo, which boosted the flavor of the turkey. The sandwich was stacked with turkey they definitely aren't cheap when it comes to packing a sandwich. If you only have 5 bucks in cash want something simple to eat as you walk towards the train or to eat on the train a sandwich from here isn't the worse option.“

“Classic deli. Hot and cold food options that seem homemade. Quick serves and the employee was especially friendly in a sincere way which we appreciated. I got an egg breakfast sandwich that was good and a Joe's tea from the fridge. I forgot how good those teas were so that was a nice treat.
