“So, I'm always going here in the morning. I really like their whole wheat everything flat bagels toasted with olive and pimento cream cheese. I get their coffee large and black with no sugar. It's great every time. I get other things for others such as family, friends and coworkers and everyone likes what they get from here. The people are extremely nice and well spoken in the phone and the line moves fast in person. Their selection has all the usual favorites but don't look for rare bagel flavors some places have like fresh blueberry bagels or orange cranberry bagels. They do have a large variety of cream cheeses and have a fully stocked deli and refrigerated drinks. I like it and it's not crazy expensive either. Really good local spot for breakfast and lunch sandwiches, rolls and bagels. You can usually get parking right out front and there's never a meter maid to ticket you. There's always trucks and tractors trailers out front either parked or double parked. No big deal, there's always a spot or double parking to be done. The line moves fast inside and you can keep an eye on your vehicle. There's also plenty of legal parking in the lot behind the establishment too.Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options like bagels and cream cheese or toasted and buttered rolls etc... there may even be vegan cream cheese if I remember right.“

“Emily our server was very attentive. She was nice and always checking on our table. The music was immaculate. Beautiful decorations and the food was amazing. I had the lomo saltado. Steak was tender and the green sauce was very good. If you’re a whiskey drinker i recommend the matchu pichu.“

Today, my mom arrived from India at JFK and I decided to introduce her to American Vegan food :) She said, "chaalaa baagundi ", which means very good, a high compliment!One of the greatest treats about visiting India is food (colors and live dance musicals are another); there's a ton of plant-based eats but the vegan food has some ways to go.“

“Slightly hard to write this review as I arrived a bit late to the meal. I went here months upon months ago. Not knowing that this was part of Dun Huang, I thought I went to the wrong restaurant but it turned out it was one and the same which was surprising. I was here with a group of nine others. As I arrived a bit late, the soup dumplings had already been there a while but they were still of very good quality. My favorite of the night was the Salted Egg Yolk & Shrimp Stir-Fried Rice Cakes. The texture of the rice cakes were perfect and the egg yolk complimented it well. I also liked the Dry Fried Shredded Eel & Chives. I also would have preferred them less shredded as I couldn't taste much of the eel texture but the sauce was nice and the blend with the chives added some good depth. The Fried Dough Twist Spicy Chicken or Laziji with Mahua was also surprisingly spicy for a restaurant which is primarily Shanghainese now so I guess they still have some influence from the old Dun Huang. I've had it before with these dough twists from the excellent Peppercorn Station and these rivaled that place even though the chicken there was a bit pricier but then again there was larger pieces of chicken in the latter. The Fish Fillets in Sour Cabbage Soup was also pretty solid as well as the Grilled Lamb Kebabs. You can essentially see Andie's review for the rest of my thoughts as they essentially reiterate hers. Yes it was too hot inside and as I was rushing to get there, I got warmer than most but oh well. Would go back but maybe go during the fall or winter if the AC isn't fixed yet. Mid 4“

“Awesome Lebanese food in the heart of West Hempstead. The restaurant is clean and cozy, the atmosphere is relaxing. We ordered kafta, spinach pies, safihas, marinated steak and chicken, and baba ganoush. They were fresh and delicious. This place is a real gem!!“

This was the sleeper and highlight our orders. We also ordered last but not least the chicken pad Thai which was flavorful and the ingredients were super fresh and tasty. I highly recommend this place can't say it enough five stars is a minimum! By the way and oh yes please try the Thai Iced Tea and Coconut Water for good measure to wash down your meal. Just ask for every topping you can get (as long as its free of course), and always go in person to order. It is just like chipotle, if you arent there to pressure them they will skimp you on the meat.“
