“Have been here a couple times. Great relaxed atmosphere good for families. Extensive menu with many gluten free options because of the corn tortillas for tacos which is important for me. The shrimp fajitas were great coming out on a sizzling platter and you can sub corn tortilla for flour. Coca Cola carnitas tacos also delicious. Drinks very good, had the Mexican Negroni and the margarita. Servers very nice and attentive. One small negative is I probably wouldn't recommend the ceviche. That wasn't the strongest item on the menu, not enough acid for a ceviche in my view. But overall will definitely be back and would recommend. Great place.“

“So happy we tried a new restaurant in patchogue instead of going to our staples. Food was delicious- quality and taste exceeded expectations. Not cheap Mexican food by any means. The sexy Oaxaca drink was perfect and I loved the presentation. Bartender was great. Fun ambiance. We will 100% be returning!“

“Never order the liquor. First, let me say the food is wonderful. The servers are quite kind. But again, DON'T ORDER THE LIQUOR. I asked for an Old Fashioned at first; I saw they had a collection of whiskey, so I figured it wouldn't be that big of an ask. Unfortunately, neither the server nor whoever they had working behind the counter seemed to know very much about making drinks. So instead I just ordered a Jack & Coke.$12.95 for a freaking Jack & Coke. That's insane! They'd make back the bottle in 3 drinks! Jack Daniels is NOT pricey. I've paid less for elevated cocktails in the city. And had they given me a good cocktail, I would've said that was a fair price. But no, they gave me a splash of jack with a heavy dose of soda. That's $8 max, not $12.95. I should've known better than to order it when I didn't see the liquor menu, I guess.Aside from that, the food is some of the best on the Island and the service is phenomenal. Tip 'em well, they deserve it.“

“Went there twice and the quality of the food has been equal both times. Their calamari is sooo fresh it's divine. The fish tacos are amazing and their mixed ceviche is gold!!!Unfortunately, I wasn't too impressed with their frozen margarita.“

“First time in here. It was quiet at about 12:00. Parking in the lot was easy. I was tended to right away. I chose a salad bowl with sautéed zucchini, carne asada, pico, and & shredded cheese. The food was phenomenal. I would definitely go back when I’m in the area.“

“An absolute hidden gem in Patchogue village for comida authentica Mexicana! We visited for lunch around the holidays for a quick bite. We got sangria and a michelada as drinks to start. The sangria had quite a punch and the michelada had me reminiscing about that one time in Mexico. We got a shrimp sopa to share which came out hot and was super tasty. Our tortas came quickly after. I got the mixto torta which had two kinds of meat, and we also got the Cubano. After they came out we realized we could have split a sandwich because they were huge. The sandwich bread was soft and the sandwich itself was delicious. Aside from the food we got, they offer kids meals and even breakfast! They also have your typical tacos and burritos. I also loved the ambiance of the place, really gave you that feel of Mexico. I honestly cannot wait to go back and try other things they have to offer.“

“This was my first time here. It was hard to choose from the menu because it all looked so good. The service was very friendly. We ordered the chicken and capers, spinach soup and a few extra sides for takeout. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I am definitely going back to this restaurant.“

“Me and my girlfriend love Verde, the food and cocktails are always amazing and consistent. There are a lot of restaurants on long island with good food and drinks. the real reason we come in as often as we do and on the same day almost every week is because of the Katie the bartender. she is very knowledgeable of all the food and drinks on the menu and the specials as well. she is also always has a smile on her face and laughing which makes ours experience amazing. Seeing her behind the bar really makes our day every time we come in. Verde is very lucky to have her“

“In the event you're down and quarantining with Covid or flu, do yourself a favor and order a delivery of Tortilla soup! It does the body good, is so healing and will help your throat. Just spicy enough with chicken and toppings included, a large order is good for a couple of meals. The mini enjoyed a large portion of Pork Nachos and a side of rice & beans.I've not been in the restaurant, but the delivery option made me happy!“

“Have cash! I loved my 3 tacos. I do wish they had spicier salsa. My husband had the torta milanesa de rez, he was disappointed that did not have avocado or cheese. Not sure if that is extra, but we are used to other places that do include cheese and avocado. He enjoyed it nonetheless. We came from out east in a snowsquall on the way. It was worth it. Ps. “I just hosted my son's first birthday party at shrimpys burrito bar of east islip in their new event space and they did not disappoint! The owners Ryan & John were so accommodating allowing us to decorate, bring in kids entertainment and the food was absolutely delicious. Mikayla handled our event and everything was perfect from beginning to end. Everyone left full and happy! I would 100% recommend using their new space for events!“

“Very nice, clean and affordable. It didn't have much sitting space, so as long as you're fine with being on a small stool and facing the wall, you can enjoy their nice handmade corn tortillas. The beans are very nice traditional Salvadorian as well. I had a Jarritos, rice, beans, pork and tortillas and paid a little less than $9. Definitely worth it and would visit again.“

“This is a very beautiful place n staff are very welcoming. The atmosphere is of old Spanish, Mexican style uniquely beautiful. was there to celebrate my birthday with my family portion sizes were very generous staff replenished nachos service was very quick would definitely return to this hidden gem again their flan that they gave me my birthday served me in the restaurant was very fresh. The one I took home, had a bit of a fishy taste not sure if that’s normal was my first time ever having flan, other than that the restaurant is amazing as well as staff prices were reasonable on beyond was welcoming, would return again.Parking: Plenty of free parking as well as handicap parking, right outside location in parking lot.“
