10 Best Vegetarian Restaurants in Ossining

“I don't usually write reviews on Google but I feel compelled to write in support of Lisa, Dan and The Tasty Table. My husband and I are frequent weekend guests at The Tasty Table because we like the food and the way we are treated as guests. I've noticed some less than positive reviews focused on difficulties getting a table during their busiest weekend times. This should indicate to all who are interested in going to The Tasty Table of how wonderful a restaurant it is. My suggestion is to take advantage of the 30 minute call aheads that are offered. You won't be disappointed!“

“This was our second time here, drawn by warm weather and a restaurant week deal, which was a good value given the regular menu prices (on the high side). The restaurant is perched right on the Hudson but outdoor seating is first-come, first served. We wound up inside. Friendly service, solid food, including brick chicken, calamari and Atlantic salmon. It's also a great place to enjoy brunch on a sunny day. Just get their early if you want to eat al fresco.“

“Was a pleasant time. Getting to have NY pizza is so great because upstate pizza just doesn't hit the spot. So thank you. Love it. Loved the smell of the pizzeria. All staff were nice or quiet. Everyone works great together. Good work chemistry.“

Allow me to recommend Docas for you...you cant go wrong with their entrees of either meats or seafood...grilled branzini is excellent...on Saturdays they have dobrada, which translates to tripe...and if you find their Osso Bucco on Sundays, you HAVE to get it...homemade desserts and great place to chat a soccer game...or just "hear" Portuguese ppl be...Portuguese“

“The food is amazing and not so expensive compared to other locations. The staff very professional and they also pay attention to detail on your order. Has a nice casual feel inside. The menu has a few selections of appertizers. And a few on full meals. Few times I ate there I had to take home a take away box cause I could not finish. They put a lot on the plate. Def worth a visit. And taste worthy Ecuadorian cuisine“

“This is the third time I visited this place in a week. I wanted to try every single dish they have. The food is amazing ? and the rotisserie chicken is the juiciest and tastiest I’ve ever eaten in Westchester. The chicken in Chaufa fried rice tasted like it’s been grilled and they added red bell peppers. Their green sauce is delicious with a hint of lime. By far the best Peruvian restaurant. In their Lomo Saltado you have the option on how you want the beef done. The fries were salted which I find unusual cause most Peruvian restaurants don’t salt their fries. I tried their purple corn slushy drink and the mango lemonade good too but too sweet for my liking.“

“I first called to make sure that the restaurant was opened and a lovely young lady answered and I found her to be very knowledgeable about the food being served and various items on the menu and she kindly provided me with the address, upon arrival I was greeted by a women behind the counter however she was on the phone with a customer placing an order and she acknowledged me while on the phone I patiently waited and once she finished she apologized and kindly took my order, I just knew by the atmosphere and the awesome customer service, that the food was going to not disappoint, my order consisted of the Rasta Pasta DELICIOUS ?? I also got the Oxtail and Mac & cheese the oxtail’s where Succulent and the portions where sizable and generous I’m happy to say should you be in the Ossining area or by way of White Plains Newyork you will not be disappointed the food is DELICIOUS and customer service friendly and welcoming I’ll be back to try various dishes by way of Jamaica ?? ??????“

“We were just looking for a sub to take back to the hotel and not have to leave till checkout the next morning. This unassuming storefront hides the best restaurant we've come across in a long, long time.I got the Penne San Gennaro, and she the Penne Alla Capri.My god, we were in heaven! Healthy servings that were pure magic and an attentive staff. Don't think twice about going here you definitely won't be sorry“

“Update: food has gotten so much better and the service was awesome. I'm giving more stars.Cute old fashioned diner. They do have some interesting menu items that aren't typically seen in a diner. But it's mostly what you'd expect from a diner. Service was passable, food was just okay. Having said that New York is known for its diners. There are many very good diners in NY. I would say this one is right smack in the middle of the pack.
