“I don't usually write reviews on Google but I feel compelled to write in support of Lisa, Dan and The Tasty Table. My husband and I are frequent weekend guests at The Tasty Table because we like the food and the way we are treated as guests. I've noticed some less than positive reviews focused on difficulties getting a table during their busiest weekend times. This should indicate to all who are interested in going to The Tasty Table of how wonderful a restaurant it is. My suggestion is to take advantage of the 30 minute call aheads that are offered. You won't be disappointed!“

“This was our second time here, drawn by warm weather and a restaurant week deal, which was a good value given the regular menu prices (on the high side). The restaurant is perched right on the Hudson but outdoor seating is first-come, first served. We wound up inside. Friendly service, solid food, including brick chicken, calamari and Atlantic salmon. It's also a great place to enjoy brunch on a sunny day. Just get their early if you want to eat al fresco.“

“Having just relocated to the area, First Village Coffee is the community hub I have been seeking. Often walking into a coffee shop for the first time can feel daunting, but I received a genuinely warm welcome (and farewell) from multiple staff members, which immediately made we feel like staying for a while. I noticed how the owner engaged with regulars and newcomers with equal interest and regard, which was a pleasant change from places that choose not to focus on building relationships with their clientele. The cro-muffin was delicious, soft in the middle with a crunch from the crystallized sugar on the outside, and my rose-cardamom latte was hand-delivered with care. Thank you for supporting this tired mom in her self care needs!“

“When I left a message to determine if this venue was right for my 70th birthday, Nelson the owner forwarded to me an exceptional menu which met my goals. He and his team were very flexible as I came by numerous times checking table materials and possible table setups. The venue including Nelson, his wife Christine and famy met and exceeded all my expectations Nelson was very patient and accommodating. I had a cocktail hour inside because it was too humid outside. Nelson 's team set up the tables and they were able to deliver an exceptional dessert table. The outside was coiffured beyond beautiful! All in all we were certainly return for other functions!“

“This is my second time eating at Southern Kitchen and bar with my partner, our grandson, and his father.  It's a very nice place, a great atmosphere  spacious, clean, friendly, diverse, and family oriented. There's outdoor dining and free parking. The staff was very tentative, and our servers, Lauren and Kyle, were awesome. They menu gave you plenty of ordering options.  It was hard to decide what I wanted to eat, especially when I saw other people's orders passing me buy.  I didn't wait too long for the food.  When the food arrived, it was served steaming hot and tasty. If you dont want to sit and eat a meal, you can sit at the full bar and have a cold beverage.  I recommend you give this place a visit. “Oh my!! If you pass this spot up you are missing out. We ordered the cupcakes, chocolate chip cookies, and Cinnabons. The cupcakes were so soft and velvety. I was expecting had and grainy but these cupcakes are built as if you made regular ones and pulled them out the oven. My mouth watered eating them. The chocolate chip cookies were also soft and delicious. This place needs a stop when you're in the neighborhood. Even for the non vegan crowd these baked good will leave you surprised and ordering additional.“

“Update: when I reviewed a month or so ago the beer in cans was not available. It is now and WOW! “Otis” is their West Coast style IPA and it is amazing! So fresh. I’m totally a raving fan! …We discovered Miles the Prince purely by chance as we were getting gas and got a recommendation from a local who had eaten there. What an undiscovered gem! Super atmosphere and very fresh, happy place. The owner just opened and was so passionate and proud. He told us about his extensive experience and journey to starting the business. He clearly cares about the food and went the extra mile (no pun intended) to make sure we were well cared for.There is a full brand new brewery downstairs and we sampled all the beers. Heaven— I subscribe to what Ben Franklin said: “Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.” Well, Ben would love this place. I can’t wait till they start selling it for take out. “I picked up Blondery's S'mores Hot Chocolate and a cinnamon roll at the Beacon Farmers Market recently. OMG. The love that goes into their products is undeniable. Their cinnamon roll was everything good that makes up a cinnamon roll -- light, fresh, the perfect touch of cinnamon -- and THE ICING. I can't. Absolutely incredible. The only downfall was having to share with my daughter, whose eye about popped out of her head when she saw the deliciousness I was enjoying. Pairing that with their S'mores Hot Chocolate was the icing on the proverbial cake. There's magic in everything that Blondery creates. I love that they're a part of our community and am excited to try more of their creations. <3“

“I loved my visit to the My Father's House Southern Cuisine. The food was delicious. I had the Pecan Crusted Salmon Baked Topped with Honey Glazed Pecans served with Caramelized Yams & Collard Greens. So good. The collards had a kick which was a surprise delicious. Our soft drink was the Carolina Sunrise Punch delicious, seriously. The biscuits and cornbread muffins again delicious. My granddaughter had fried chicken wings with French fries and a vegetable from the youngins menu she was well pleased. The server was warm and friendly lie everyone there. The ambiance was delightful with live entertainment. The drive was worth it and made my birthday a true delight. I can't wait to go again. The area is quaint and quiet.“

I enjoyed the tocino last visit so I decided to be adventurous try other items lo and behold the Adobo Pork Belly was exquisite. The pork belly was marinated well filled with flavor from the first bite and it simply melted in my mouth. “This review is about Cafeteria at Stone Barns: Lunch Tray. They have one daily menu featuring their produce from the farm. Lunch tray is consist of small plates priced around $50, which sounds a bit pricey for the portions, but I assume the ingredients are fresh and high quality. When I went there, the lunch menu was some pickles, cured meat, taco and bread - everything was sour - even the dessert looking cake was sour. Balance of the meal was a bit disappointing, so got a small apple for $2, which was soggy and bruised inside, but I liked their coffee.It is a beautiful place for a getaway from the city - an hour drive from Manhattan. The lunch tray could be hit or miss since they only offer one set menu, which you don’t know until you get there, but they have pretty outdoor tables surrounded by nice garden. I would come back for another try later.“

I like when they make the guacamole next to your table and they ask you what you want to add to your guacamole...with spicy, tomate, lettuce, lime, onions.The super nachos are delicious and taste.
