“Traveling home from a wedding in Columbus OH to home in Maine we pinned the halfway point to stop over. We discovered this gem of a restaurant of MJ's on the Susquehanna River in historic Owego, NY. We dined ohe deck by the river. We ate the butter lettuce pockets of vegetables and a Greek salad. DELICIOUS! Having been so sensible with our vegetarian supper we shared the pan cooked chocolate chip cookie with ice cream and caramel sauce. Great service, decor, funk factor, clean and good. We may live 8 hours away, but this dining experience makes it worth returning for. Plus there are plenty of interesting places to see in this part of NY.”

“Our first time was a delight! Stopped in while traveling. Cozy little diner with a terrifically friendly staff! My friend had breakfast and loved the home fries and hash. I opted for a simple Turkey Club and onion rings. Very good! Of course, we had to have Baklava Cheesecake to go! I’ll remember the cute little River Rock Diner on our next trip through!”

“Our second stay at this great getaway spot—the Inn is super comfy, beautifully restored and updated, and the owners are very helpful. Lots of cute shops and neat restaurants within walking distance, including the inn’s own pub. The river view from the second-floor porch is so relaxing!”

“We looked around for a new place to get birthday cakes since the place we went to before went all Gluten Free. We’ve tried a few different people/places and we weren’t totally satisfied. However, we are very happy and pleased with C&M Sweets! Not only was our daughter’s cake beautiful, it was delicious as well! Just perfect! Everyone complimented it! Thank you so much C&M sweets! “The food is good. I did take-out. Crab Rangoon was a little bland. If you get a bubble tea or drink, make sure you put in the notes to have them make it after you've arrived. They will package it and put it right next to your hot food. You get your drink warm and watered-down because the ice melts.”
