“Tres Leches Cake is THE BEST omg. I’ve been trying tres leches cake everywhere until I found this place by so many recommendations from other people, it’s truly amazing. The best I’ve ever had!Sayra helped me and she was so so sweet!!!“
“I have visited 2ce in search of some quality espresso. The woman/man behind the counter were very friendly and suggested a cortado this day as I expressed I needed something strong. It was small but mighty. Just what I was looking for. I came in this morning and tried their machiato which hit the spot n was also small but mighty. Can't wait to try their chai tea. & Other drinks. The pastries looked tasty I will have to taste one of these days. I love it taste can't wait to stay awhile as the ambiance is welcoming and cozy. I'm happy to support a neighborhood staple & wish them much success“
“A cozy little spot with the most delicious burgers and fries. I requested and received a custom soda float, which perfectly complements the burger. My son is such a picky eater but they made the crispiest chicken bites for him and he loved it. We had the best time here.“
“The cannolis here are INCREDIBLE... 10/10!!! The cookies are pretty good, too, as they are not overly sweet and go perfectly with coffee or tea. However, their mini cakes are not the best, which is why I'm docking a star. I ordered a mini tiramisu which was dry and seemed to have a frosting layer rather than a creamy mascarpone, which was disappointing. Overall, awesome bakery! I would just say to avoid the mini cakes.“
“Quaint, friendly, family-owned café with delicious offerings all around.I've been going once a week the past month, and I've tried almost everything this place offers. The food is incredible (I'm most partial to the croissants). From the coffee to the breakfast offerings to the truffles, I haven't had something I didn't think was excellent. And they make it all in-house!The staff is great. I've been in during busy times and slower times, and they're always working hard and friendly. (And the cute barista behind the counter is always nice to see.)I've worked in service in the past and so it's impressive to see them in action when the lines start forming. Really love going there. Can't recommend this place highly enough.“
“I have been going to Galloways since … forever! To say what the best products are is a difficult task. However, my family and I love the apple crumb pie, banana cream pie, jelly & glazed donuts and the crumb buns (we always ask for powdered sugar on top which adds to the tastiness!).This is not to say everything else isn’t absolutely amazing because we’ve tried it all!Besides the food being amazing, the service is also top notch. All the people that work there are helpful and are always willing to give suggestions on what their favorites are!I highly recommend coming here whenever you are in the neighborhood!“
“I ordered a cannoli cake for my father’s 90th birthday. I called, they answered, guided me as to what I would need based on the event and number of people, charged a very fair price and done! The cake was ready on time and more importantly DELICIOUS! I highly recommend them.“
“Been here once before and it was packed however during my last visit the shop was empty. Two older women manning the register area who do not respond when greeted. Lighter skinned woman sat frowning at customers as they walked in. Ms. Marcia was a bit curt at first but warmed up towards the end. First time trying the 'meatloaf' and it's over hyped. Just a piece of coco bread with a spoonful or two (at most) of the beef patty filling. Dry and mostly dough. The cinnamon bun is legit and so is the carrot cake, albeit a bit dry. Patties continue to be the draw here. They're flavorful but lightly filled. Meat is blended - you won't find a 'bite' of meat in their meat patties. Veggie patty is just ok. Eh..I'd stop in again if in the immediate area but there are much better spots on the WPR strip.“
“Delicious gluten-free and dairy-free baked goods. I am gluten-free so I frequently order from BTW Bakery. I don't tell my guests that it's gluten-free until after they've eaten it because they always rave about how delicious it is and would never know the difference!“
“Not only was customer service on point but from one Chef to another one baker to another. Well done Chef Maria Caputo. Even Hannah was great and knowledgeable. Even the Tik-ToK cookies we over the top. Big smile here! Yum Yum was well worth the visit!“
“The whole team are great, friendly atmosphere,Excellent customer service. The cookies, cakes, pastries are ? delicious. ??????? ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤????????I love this bakery, I come here since I was a kid.“
“Hands down the best coffee in the area. Consistently great coffee. Staff are all well trained to make good coffee. You can see their skill with the latte art. Lots of seating space too. They roast their own beans so the cafe has a nice aroma.“
“The front is handled by mostly teenagers. That saying that his bad, because his business is very fast, paced with a line out and around the block. Especially during the holidays. The fact of the youth helps get the customers in and out in a quick and efficient way. This is a takeout place for desserts only so really can't say much about the ambience. Food whether it's a cheesecake, cupcakes, brownies, cookies, or anything else to your wanting is amazing, delicious and very well rounded for a sweet shop bakery.“
“I am a fanatic for the cakes at Lulu's! I had the glazey river with buttercream and praline crunch, and let me tell you -- it was divine! If you love your cake decadent, but not sweet, rich, but not cloying, ornate, but not inauthentic, then this is THE place! Everything was perfect, which is hard to attain. I enjoyed every morsel and the cream was rich and tasty not sweet and sugary. These bakers understand symmetry, texture, taste and balance- way to go Lulu's!If you have not yet given them a try, please do, you will NOT be disappointed. I'll be back!“
“When they say old school, they mean it.I think the chairs here remember first Italian immigrants of Bronx. Sweet. While cannoli were good and I loved the fact that they are filled to order, my vote goes to rum baba. Yum!Very friendly service, nice atmosphere. You definitely need to get off Arthur Avenue and go to this gem.Parking: Hard to find parking in the area, but if you go a couple of blocks to left or right of Arthur Ave it gets better.“
“I just purchased the lemon burst cake and it's absolutely delicious and well balanced. The chocolate chip cookies were so good too, and I remember they had a great carrot cake last time I stopped in. Always a win, love this bakery and will return.“
“I’m so happy I found this neighborhood, family-owned, bakery. We come in all the time for their yummy croissants, fruit tarts, cupcakes and slices of cake…Everything has been so delicious, fresh, and tasted homemade. One of my all time favorites is the coconut, pineapple cake. The cakes are not overly sweet and industrially made. The people who work there are always sweet and lovely to my kids when we come-in which I really appreciate as well. Recently, I ordered a red velvet cake for my daughter’s bday and it was AMAZING. The cake was not only beautiful but also delicious…The cake had a rich flavor and the cream cheese icing in between the layers was divine! Everyone had seconds and that’s not usually the case with other bday cakes in my experience at least. I highly recommend this gem!!PS- they also have very good gluten free options.“
“Way more than just an espresso bar. They have a kitchen and bakery and all of the food and deserts are amazing. The best coffee I've ever had as well. The prices are some of the cheapest you can find these days. It's a phenomenal place in every “
“My boyfriend and I had the best experience at Pelville P. He had the eggs, toast and potatoes. He really liked how the potatoes were seasoned. I had the grilled avocado toast which was a ten out ten. Highly recommend coming here everyone was really nice and the place was so precious inside.“
“My husband and I absolutely love this place! The food is always delicious as is their coffee. I love that their menu caters to all with vegan, dairy free and gluten free options.Vegetarian options: The Carrot and ginger soup with kale chips is the best“
“This bakery was my go-to for my wedding in 2012 after they were a smashing success at the engagement shower. Years later, my family is still talking about how phenomenal the desserts were. I had an over-the-top dessert hour - cookies, pastries, little tarts, different pies & cakes……plus the wedding cake. Just phenomenal. I hadn’t been here in a while, as I live far away, but went this past weekend to pick up a bunch of different desserts for a party - everything was delicious and I got rave reviews for having such awesome desserts! Anything I’ve ever had here has been just amazing. Highly recommend you try it - they will not disappoint!“
“Was walking by and decided to come inside and try it out. The coffee was really good and also tried a croffle, which was delicious. My wife tried the salmon avocado toast and she enjoyed it. The baked goods are fresh and made in house. It was a rainy morning and the inside is small but also very quaint. I would definitely recommend it is you are in this area.“
“We love everything about this local shop. The staff is always warm and welcoming, and the products are always fresh and delicious. This past week we ordered a custom birthday cake due to dietary restrictions and it was a hit. We can’t recommend this place enough.“
“Simply the best. I was introduced to Cafe Trois by a family member after their rave reviews. I had finally decided to make a trip out to North Vale and I wish that I hadn't because now I have to make weekly trips to Cafe Trois. From their pastries to their breakfast and coffee, the food is mystifyingly delicious. Customer service is excellent as well. My only complaint is the parking situation but that doesn't detract from the overall experience you will have at Cafe Trois.“
“Delicious and incredible service! They made the most incredible birthday cake for me on short notice. They even added their own creative and funny touches to the cake. They clearly take great care in everything they do. I've also tried their cookies, cake pops, dessert bars, and a lot else... everything is fantastic!“
“Nothing Bundt Cakes have been on my radar for sometime. I created an account and joined their club even before I had the opportunity to try them. I am unsure where I first learned about them but something intrigued me enough to become a"member" and that is saying something. Lol.Back in June I was in Stamford, CT for an event at another local eatery and just happened to be a 5 minute drive away from a location and decided to give them a try. Needless to say that was a success so when I happen to be in close proximity to a location I do not mind a minor detour. Like the other location this store is bright and whimsical with different selections suitable for all occasions even the more often than not "just because" occasion.Since I am notably still a novice I was unsure what bundtlet flavor to try this time around. I decided to go with something other then my "go to" flavor of Red Velvet. I picked carrot and strawberries & cream to try. Both great choices that I enjoyed within the next day or two.The bundtlets were ultra moist and traveled well and were still moist and delectable a few days later. Definitely worth trying if in the area.Just A Note:If you purchase a few flavors to try at a later time. Remove them from the refrigerator, and let them come to room temperate for the optimal taste experience.“
“Sara and her team knocked it out of the park again. I buy her cakes for every special event/party and she outdoes herself EVERY SINGLE TIME. We had 3 cakes yesterday for a large party and people lined up and got seconds. So tasty and beautiful! Great vibes in the bakery and such yummy baked goods.“
“I usually go to another cookie store in the neighborhood that has soft baked, equally large cookies with gooey center. I tried this place when my usual was closed. This place had 1 vegan option, which was pretty good but drier than I like for a giant cookie. It had a good coffee shop ambiance though, and I would come back to try their coffee though“
“I searched for a quick dessert for a friend and found this bakery through Google suggestions. It turned out to be the perfect choice! The service was excellent, the atmosphere inviting, and the assortment of delicious treats was the best part.“
“Been here twice already and I'll be coming back! I love supporting small family owned shops but it's easy here because the desserts/pastries here are delicious. The desserts are Filipino-inspired which is not commonly seen in this area. I've tried their basque cheesecake, ube donut, and their Bicho bicho, along with the ube foam iced coffee. I'm not even a big fan of ube but that recommended ube donut was a pleasant surprise. I'll be back to try their croissants :-)“
“There are three types of pastries. They are incredibly delicious with minced meat, cheese and spinach. You can bring a tray and have it done on that tray as well. Crispy fresh pastries. It was very nice. We came from New Jersey for the food. We will always come here. Thanksturali familyThere are three types of pastries. “Loved the cake made for my husbands 50th birthday party. I got a two tier cake and two dozen cupcakes. Wonderful customer service and reliable delivery. I was in awe at the ease of how ordering went. I was most impressed that I was able to communicate with a person rather than filling out a form online. I will def order again when I need a cake. All the cupcakes got swooped up so fast I didnt even get a chance to have any.“
“Great bakery with amazing sandwiches and pastries. Now they opened a meat restaurant next door!! I took my daughter to eat at Noir last night. Was really good! The plum salad with the citrus beet dressing was amazing. Like so fresh and we couldn’t get enough of that dressing!!! And I loved the shaved fennel salad too…my daughter doesn’t like fennel so, more for me!!! We shared the schnitzel because I heard it was the best and it was so yummy! perfectly crunchy and tasty and moist. The servers were friendly and attentive. The dining room filled up while we were there, on a random Tuesday!! And everyone seemed to be enjoying. Can’t wait to go back.“
“Bread & Cocoa is the kind of local bakery that epitomizes excellence and makes you feel right at home. With a friendly atmosphere, the owner will probably recognize your face over time and and greet you name. The excellence of Bread & Cocoa's pastries makes it easy to understand why the locals keep coming back.I stopped in because I was working in the neighborhood and I needed a pick-me-up for my ride back to Manhattan. The pumpkin chocolate chip cake with a small coffee hit the spot. It was an amazing start to the day and made me appreciate why this bakery is such a neighborhood treasure. Bread & Cocoa is truly a special bakery that's worth checking out!“
“This is a store specializing in delicious mousse. My recommendation is the passion fruit flavor.Other flavors tend to be sweeter, but the passion fruit flavor is sweet and sour, and when eaten with other flavors, it brings out the goodness of the other flavors. The passion fruit flavor was the least I expected before I bought it, but now it's a must buy.Overall, the texture was good and it was like eating a mousse cake from a high-end restaurant. Considering that, I think it's a pretty cheap price.I've only purchased take-out items, but there is an eat-in area, and I feel like the customer base is mostly cute women. It was never crowded, giving the impression that it was a hidden gem of a sweets shop. It's in East Harlem, so I'm hesitant to go there, but I feel like Japanese tourists can walk up to East 100th without worrying. This is my favorite sweets specialty store.A mousse with a smooth texture.I especially recommend the passion fruit flavor. When eaten with other flavors, the other flavors stand out even more.“
“The server Was very nice. Some of the Donuts were really good except that they are a little tiny for the price. If you are in the area give them a try. I went towards the end of the day and so the donuts were not so fresh but they were still good. I tried the apple cider and that was that great it had a funny taste to it.“
“Great little stop on 9W for amazing fresh food and pastry options. Very busy on a Sat afternoon (there are a lot of bikers and bicyclists on 9W) but well worth the wait. Our server, Liz, went above and beyond and has a great sense of humor. She also makes a mean chai latte. Cozy atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. The perfect casual lunch spot.“
“My son didn't want a "birthday cake " so I went to Patty Pops ,Patty helped me ,pick out a sprinkle cake ,and she added cake pops on top of the cake ,amazing idea ,she really is the best !My son loved his cake ,and may I add it was delicious, you can taste the ingredients all put together perfectly!Thank you so much for everything Patty Pops ,unique and wonderful!“
“Delightful little shop off the Main Street in Harrison. Friendly people, good selection, and good coffee :)Vegetarian options: Lots of vegan and vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: Lots of options to facilitate various needsKid-friendliness: Very friendly environment for children“
“Zeppieri is a real authentic Italian bakery. A family, neighborhood store. Everything is delicious. Pastiera (grain pie) - out of this world, Sfingi & zeppoli (both St. Joseph pastry made perfect) Pastaciot…. Other “Italian” places don’t even know what these are! Most telling - their prices reflect that it’s not about the money! But feeding us the best. In the true Italy family spirit. It’s about 40 years or so and I won’t go anywhere else.“
“One-of-a-kind neighborhood bakery in the Whitestone area of Queens, NYC, NY.Simple, free, on-street parking, friendly staff and incredible fresh made selections. Also offering a number of chilled, pre-prepared goodies to take along.Enjoy a cup of coffee too while you wait.Crazy good!#buylocal#supportlocal“
“I can’t believe I haven’t written a review for CHOCnyc yet. This place is a treasure in Inwood, with pastries and sweets that are far from ordinary. Everything I have tasted here has exceeded my expectations. If you ever get a chance to visit this place, you will be amazed.“
“Loved this bagel place. Personally not a fan of the huge bagels you frequently see... throws off the bagel to ingredients ratio for an egg sandwich. Those large bagels are better suited for cream cheese in my opinion. But these egg bagels were the perfect size, not too small and not too large. The texture was great and made for an amazing BEC. Also tried out their bialy with some scallion cream cheese. I thought they complimented each other well but would probably try something more savory with the bialy next time. The workers were very friendly and service was very quick for a 10am weekday. Would recommend coming here for breakfast if you're in the area. They have a couple of tables inside for seating.“
“I have been coming to this store all since I was a kid. I personally know the family. Our parent were friends growing up. I love the homemade pastas. Never disappointed! The staff is great. Believe once you've eaten this fresh pasta you'll be back again and again.I personally recommend the Cheese Ravioli and Stuffed Rigatoni. Keep up the great work Steven.“
“Very nice place - baked goods and sandwiches are very tasty and fresh, and service is quick and friendly, the place is clean and nicely designed - I really like their white marble tile-top tables. They also have a small garden/outdoor space with seating in teh back which is a nice touch... and - their pistachio muffin is to die for! (if you're into pistachios :)). I wish this place was here when I lived on East 85th and York Ave a few years back!“
“One of the more unique bakeries I have ever been to. This place is an operation! They have everything with the show to go with it. The bagels come out on a conveyor belt! Awesome place. If there is something you are craving they will have it. The oreo cookie was delicous. The crumb cake was great. I wonder how fast they go through everything but it did look busy. The bread also came out hot and fresh. Would highly recommend checking out!“
“I only make reviews when the experience inspires me to. This is one of those moments. This is a wonderful, cozy, small place to be at with yourself or with a partner. My wife and I had brunch here on a Sunday afternoon and it was full of people, and yet, it was easy to dine in.First of all the pastries were perfection. I tried a rosemary and sweet potato pastry that was light, flaky and with a delicious delicate flavor. I also tried the pineapple bun with a light coconut cream filling and a crunchy sweet crust that was out of this world (great combination with their coffee) and lastly, I tried the home fries, and honestly, everything was perfect about them, specially with the green hot sauce and the sourdough bread.Lastly, I had the pleasure to meet Ignacio that helped us at the register, and not only was helpful, but went the extra mile explaining each pastry and making recommendations. It was quite a wonderful experience all the way around.“
“I come by here for work all the time. Newton makes the best drinks, and holds down this establishment like none other. He is so fast that even when there is a line he gets it done so quickly that I'm always amazed when I get to the front and he's the only one there! And he is still a smiling and pleasant individual even under stress! When I come there is laid back afrobeats playing and even during a stressful day the combination of newton's happiness and smile and island music playing puts me in a good mood. Matto is a chain but I hope they do not become so corporate that they require awful music. Also, we need to pay people like Newton more-- he is the reason people pick this place in the neighborhood!“
“Stew Leonard's is the second best supermarket chain in Westchester. They have a superb meat & dairy section, second to none. Their fruit and vegetable section is ok, and their staples are mediocre, but I went for lamb and frozen shrimp, and am very pleased.“
“I’ve ordered a couple of times through the mail due my location. The service and quality/taste of the items I’ve purchased have been awesome. I have and would 100% recommend them if you are looking for good sweets. Even though I ordered online I put 5 stars for atmosphere because of their website and online presence in their socials. The place seems really nice and inviting, hoping to visit the shop someday if I’m in the area.Dietary restrictions: One of the people I bought for has a gluten allergy and they have items here to accommodate that.“
