“We've loved J and Ts pizza even before they moved to retsof! They're food is delicious! Their Bleu cheese is THE BEST we've ever had! We sometimes order just a bunch of their Bleu cheese to go with a dinner were making at home! I also love that they're doing buffet lunches on Tuesdays and Fridays now. Been for both a Tuesday and a Friday buffet. Tuesdays they have chicken wings on the buffet and Fridays they have fish bites and shrimp!!! ? definitely going to be a regular afternoon lunch date place for my husband and I!”

“Very accommodating!! We were on vacation and showed up at 1:30 and they close at 2:00. We asked if we could come in for lunch and they greeted us warmly. Service and food were very good. Thank you!!!”

“Great, friendly service, including other patrons being friendly! Food has gone home cooked vibe including a wide range of choices for all meals and eaters. The atmosphere is a bit outdated but every corner is clean. This is a great local spot to stop for a hearty meal or light snack while you plan your busy day visiting the rich history of Avon or choosing your one of many local nature attractions. Try to make at the Avon Historian next door to the left. Everytime I visit I enjoy myself and learn a little more from the very engaging Historian!Kid-friendliness: Great family atmosphere for all ages!”

“This place is a local legend. I had the occasion to try it finally and I can see why. Friendly service, generous portions, reasonable wait time. I ordered a steak sub that was prepared just right - fixings were perfect, steak well-seasoned and juicy. Luckily they had an open table where I could hang out and enjoy my edible work of art! I thought the office was also on par and reasonable as well. I'll be back for sure.”

“This restaurant has the best food I've ever had! The pasta is homemade and delicious! The shrimp alfredo is absolutely the best I've ever had! Everything is homemade from the pasta, bread and the salad dressing. The portions are generous and the prices are really good. Definitely a must try if you like fresh homemade pasta. “Great old style hamburger joint. Full of color and positive energy. Food menu was full of choices to satisfy every tastebud. The original and walhburger are still my favorites. Before you go make sure to check out the great coupon offers (simple Google search) you will happy at what you find. The meat sauce has its own special taste, not too hot and not too sweet, just the perfect blend of flavor to add to your burger or dip your fries into.”

Seeing Boershead in the case is always a good sign. The staff really cares about serving food that you love. We’ll go again, often.”

“My nephew who goes to Geneseo took me here for a slice. The pizza was solid. Thin crust with decent sauce. The place looks like an old NYC pizza place with brick walls and high ceilings and darkly lit. The staff were college age kids. The only reason I give the service 3 stars is we ordered three pepperoni one cheese and they gave us three cheese one pepperoni. Wasn't a big deal but I really wanted to try both cheese and pepperoni. Next time I go I will get the pepperoni. Bathroom was clean and the atmosphere of the place was chill. Overall definitely recommend if you like thin crust David Portnoy style pizza.”

“Amazing gluten free options for a celiac!! The owner is super knowledge and friendly and knows what's safe. She explains anything you ask in a very detailed manor. I asked if stuff had oats and she said yes but she gets them shipped from Canada because those specific oats she uses is guaranteed to not be cross contaminated. She makes everything herself and wants to give an amazing option for us celiacs.”

“My husband and I are soooo glad we stopped here. Tripadvisor reviews showed this place has great service; and they were not wrong. Great service, with personable staff - which makes a place all worth it! The food was really good as well. I do recommend the burgers (as mine was cooked perfectly to my liking). “Soup AND Salad WITH Bread, in addition to your meal ... in one word, YUM! Upon entry, we felt like we were stepping into a different dimension and simpler times. Candlelit tables and dim sconces on the walls provided a warm, inviting vibe. Surprisingly, the server who greeted us knew us by name and warmly welcomed us to the National Hotel. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly and had a great sense of humor. The meal was coursed out perfectly and we enjoyed every bite. Stuffed mushrooms to start were piping hot and flavorful in a ramekin of butter. The hottest thing in Cuylerville was the freshly baked bread-in-a-bag! Perfect to get every morsel of mushroom soup out of our bowls. Usually you have to choose between soup OR salad, not here! We got a fresh greens garden salad following the soup! Our main entrées of steak were perfectly cooked to temp and tasted great with the red wine. The mashed potatoes were fluffy, flavorful and satisfying. Peanut butter and chocolate pie brought our experience to a close. To wrap up the evening, we got to thank the chef and her husband for an amazing dining experience. This is one of a kind gem and we look forward to our next visit. Bring a loved one, go for a special date night or just stop in to treat yourself. You will not be disappointed.”

“Jeanette is the best bartender. She is very knowledgeable about beers, makes recommendations, gives you samples to try. He has a pleasant, attractive personality. I ordered the 40,000 acres which is a very hoopy beer. It has body, hints of fruit, at least that's what I perceived. Lots of body, lots of vibrant notes. I liked the place. Ample street parking. They have a menu to order from other restaurants. But they have chips and cheese stick.I loved it, it's safe and friendly.”

“Stopped by because I was in need of coffee. Ordered Carmel Honey Cold Brewed coffee. The Barista took my mug to make the drink. She nicely said she had never made it in a travel mug and was wondering if she made it right. I tasted it . Wow!!! She did a fantastic job. Very friendly, pleasant atmosphere. I can't wait to go back and enjoy something else.”
