The flavors are simple and delicious and these are hands down some of the best noodles I have ever had. They are thick, with the perfect bite. Definitely a hidden gem.“
“I can’t believe it took our family 7 years to pick up the phone and try out the food here. With a gluten allergy in the home , Chinese food has generally been off the table . We ended up seeing a few reviews here by GF folks and decided to give the Beef Curry with Chinese veg and Shrimp Chow Mein a try . The manager was incredibly helpful and educated on gluten and so nice . I think we’ll be spending quite a bit of money here now over the years.“
“This spot is the sole spot in town offering dine-in Dim Sum. I'm crossing my fingers for Rochester to revive the push-cart Dim Sum. Here, the Dim Sum is massive, succulent, and oh-so-tasty. Prices are fair, service is top-notch, English communication is smooth sailing, and they go beyond Dim Sum with an extensive menu. From tripe to pork stomach to chicken feet, they've got all the Chinese delicacies covered. Absolutely smitten with this place!“
“The pork bone ramen here doesn’t taste like traditional Tonkotsu but it is still flavorful and rich. The spicy one is quite spicy, which is a surprise given that most restaurants I’ve gone to in this area tend to adjust to the local’s tastes, which usually means less spicy. The pork bone component of the ramen though doesn't taste very strong. The non spicy version seems to have a focus in pork rather than pork bone in terms of the flavor. Meat is a bit thin but quite good, egg is great, noodles - i chose wavy, it is good also. Other add ons are also interesting choices but mostly good. The only complaint would be the broth not being the traditional flavor but it is still good.“

“I swung in to get lunch after smelling a coworker's food. Their lunch special was amazing. Perfect portion size to not waste and at a great price. I got the Sesame chicken over pork fried rice and loved it. The atmosphere is that of a mostly takeaway spot known for quick service. I ordered and was out in just less than 15 minutes. “I went there since I was cold and wanted some soup to warm up. The woman who greeted me was very nice. I got the wonton soup and was very happy with it. I loved the flavor and have to say it was one of me, if not my most favorite wonton soups I have tried recently. I would have liked more filling in the wonton but still very happy with it. I would order it again.It was so good that, but the time I realized I should take a photo it was almost done.“

Our household is vegetarian, and both the previous and current owners have adapted their dishes to our needs. I'm partial to the General Tso chicken.. not heavily battered, always crispy and their sauce is one of the best I've found in the Rochester area. The portions are pretty large, prices are very fair, and the staff is always friendly, polite, and accommodating to any requests.. every time I ask for extra sauce in my order, they ALWAYS do it correctly, which I can not say for other Chinese restaurants around here.. another thing that I have been impressed with, is when you call an order in to be picked up at a particular time, they have it ready and being bagged up fresh and piping hot almost right to the minute! highly recommend them for a great meal without complaints“

The service for takeout was absolutely gold, and we are so thankful for the kind treatment and exceptional food. The beef fried noodles are AMAZING. Loved the dumplings. Lots of flavor. Everything was clearly freshly made and I think more authentic than you'll find at other places. Be prepared for slightly greasy dishes because everything is coming fresh off the stove. Again it's not like american mall takeout- it's better.“

I took a star off though because every time I order the full size kung pao chicken, I only get like 4-5 medium size pieces of chicken and tons of vegetables. We wanted a whole fish and the waiter suggested to do it two ways- crispy fried salt and pepper style and steamed with ginger scallion. The fried style was quite oily and heavy but still delicious, and the steam style was very light. Just be careful because the fried fillet pieces have bones in them. Highly recommend the watercress stir fry!! The prices seem a bit high but with declining quality at Chen Garden, we’ll probably return.“

“My husband and I were here last night and had a wonderful experience. The food was to die for. Best Chinese I have had. Huge portions. Wonderfully seasoned and well cooked. Have leftovers for days. The venue is unique and cool. Lastly, our waitress Abby, was a doll. She had her hands full with other tables but was attentive, sweet and that big smile never left her face. I will be back.Pretty standard takeout Chinese restaurant on the inside with the faded picture menus. There is a table inside but I'm not sure if it's available for customer use or even if you'd want to use it if it was. It is a bit tight getting in and out of the parking lot. There are lots of businesses around there and Dewey can be busy. The location is what it is and it's still worth going if you ask me but you might go for delivery if that's an option.“

“We walked in for a to-go order, it was very clean and not that busy. After ordering a side of rice and two main dishes as well as some egg rolls and crab Rangoon (more like coin purses) the order came to 75$, which felt like it was really expensive.When we got back to our hotel room to eat, it didn’t seem expensive with the amount of food we had. The side of rice we ordered , which was house fried, had jumbo shrimp pieces in it and was a full container. We also didn’t realize the side of rice that came with our sesame chicken was going to be a full size carton as well.For three adults we were all able to have two plates full of food and still have leftovers. The quality of the food was amazing and it’s the best sesame chicken I have ever had, my go to for Chinese food. It was slightly spicy but not super spicy and in a slightly thinner sauce than what I’m used to but it was delicious.Anyone staying in the area should definitely try this out. “This is a good quick place for a mid week craving for takeout American Chinese food in the Perinton area for pick up or delivery. I ordered the General Tso's chicken and a shrimp eggroll. I enjoyed both and was surprised by how good the General Tso's sauce was, the spice level was very nice. The Broccoli was fresh and steamed nicely and the eggroll was crispy. The lunch portion I ordered was pretty big for me. I can eat this for 2 meals.“
