“A lovely, sunny and delicious respite from the cares of the world... How wonderful to find a place that serves top notch vegan fare--both sweet and some savory offerings too. Loved the rainbow cookies, Jamaican Patty and the black cake. The layer cakes are spectacular as well. Coffee, tea, chai, cappuccino--just some of the hot drink offerings to go with your treats. The owners are most congenial and welcoming, serving you with utmost care and attention. The bakery is light and airy with several tables to dine at. Located across the street from the Glen Oaks library on Union Turnpike, there is ample street parking as well as the large parking lot located behind the bakery. There is convenient access to public transportation too: the Q36 and Q46 stop steps away. My family and I truly enjoyed our time at Rose Valley bakery and cannot wait to do so again!“
“Clippers coffee is a delight! A true gem of the Bronx and of City Island. All the staff there are super friendly, and their menu items are wonderful! If you go try their jumbo chocolate chip cookie, there are very few cookies that can beat it!“
“Beautiful place! Tried the tiramisu cheesecake sandwich and it was delicious! Definitely something I never thought of before. With different flavors to choose from, it’s a crime not many people know about this place. The lady was super friendly and kind! Her grandma recipe is definitely a hidden gem!“
“What a cute little bakery! Reminds me of Paris Baguette. Smaller though, but similar baked goods. The only difference was this ube latte, i really loved it, I know its just milk and probably ube syrup but it was so so good. I made the mistake of adding espresso to it so it didnt taste like ube anymore lol its very lightly ube, but you can still taste it. Service was good, not many people were there, it was early. It is right by work so i love giving myself a little treat every now and then. Would definitely be back to try the other stuff.“
“I requested a solar system cake for our child's 4th birthday because he's been obsessed with planets, and Junction Cake Box did not disappoint!!! They did an amazing job!!! I used them for his 2nd birthday party and now for his 4th and will again for his next birthdays! Thank you so much!!!“
“This location of Paris Baguette is right on Horace Harding Expressway and is by my parents house. Whenever I need a cake for a special occasion, Paris Baguette is my go to place. There is a great selection and service is always great. I've ordered the Green Tea Strawberry Cake - 3 Layer Green Tea Cake, Whipped Cream Filling with Strawberry; Snow Bunny Cake - 3 Layer Vanilla Cake, Whipped Cream Filling with Strawberry; Rainbow Cake - 6 Layer Cake with 6 Different Colored Sponge, Filled with Cream Cheese and Soft Cream; and most recently the Tropical Mango Coconut Cake - 3 Layers of Vanilla Cake, Filled with Mango & Coconut Soft Cream, Covered with Coconut Flakes. The Snow Bunny Cake is the cutest one of them all, but they are all delicious and fresh. The cakes are not too sweet. The price of the cakes are not the cheapest, like the Tropical Mango Coconut Cake was $48.19, but it is definitely worth it. It is beautifully decorated and the cakes come with a plastic knife, candles, and matches.“
“When I come here, I normally get curry puff pastry, sesame balls, and hot dog buns with an iced milk tea with/without pearls. This location is conveniently located outside the Jackson Heights subway station so you can get a quick bite before or after work. The food for the most part has been fresh. There are plenty of options to choose from -- though I do think it is a tad bit more expensive than Rainbow Bakery. Service-wise -- the employees are friendly. They speak Mandarin as well so if you are a native speaker, you can get your point across faster. You can always eat inside, but from what I've seen the bakery has usually been pretty packed during the morning hours so you have to be lucky to get a spot. Also, because it is located near the subway station, I've seen instances where homeless people would come in and beg for change. Overall, a decent spot for baked Chinese goods and milk tea drinks.“
“This place was fantastic, great selection of pastries, the salads and sandwiches were also very tasty. Lots of unusual things to try if you’re from the UK. Staff really friendly, you can get a good cup of hot tea from here too (which wasn’t always easy to find elsewhere!). Prices also reasonable for NYC. We had breakfast at the 7th ave branch opposite Margaretaville everyday.“
“Found this lovely Paris Baguette here in Flushing NYC. Atmosphere comfy and relaxing which is great after the tiring long flight here. The 2 pastry and hazelnut coffee is $9.20, I think in Singapore I would only get 1 sausage pastry and latte for same price. the coffee in Singapore is pricey (min $6.00).“
“The freshness of the pastries at this specific location is outstanding. Their lemon cronuts are perfection—way superior to Dominque Ansel. There has been several times that I have met my favorite treat just being brought out or having to wait 10 mins until they are ready. This would be a 5 star based on the desserts alone but one detractor is that the bathroom has an offensive odor.“
“This blueberry cake was so delicious , light , airy and fluffy texture. I only gave it 4 stars because it’s a little too pricy. Over all a 10/10 for the taste and presentation. The lady at the bakery counter was sooooo sweet. She hooked me up! She gave me candles along with a cake spatula/cuter that had two match sticks in it and a little chocolate brick that says “happy birthday” . I asked how much more and she said it’s free ? now I see why they’re more pricey lol.“
“I had a wonderful experience with this florist shop!!It was my friend's birthday, she lives in NY and I live in Boston. At first I was skeptical because the florist is in New York and I am not a fan of ordering online especially out of state. But my concerns were eased when speaking florist. Yes they have a real phone number that a real person answers, hallelujah ??The florist was able to answer my questions. The website is lovely and easy to navigate and I received an email confirmation. The flowers were delivered on my friend's birthday ? to her front door and she loved them ❤️ She sent me this picture. They were even more beautiful in person than the picture on the website. I highly recommend this business!!“
“I'm fully convinced that Le Bon Pain has the best Haitian bread and patties in NY hands down. I can easily devour an entire soft but chewy long bread. The fish patties are my go to but I decided to try the oxtail patty as well. It was fire! So delicious. My only request is to please put more meat in the patties!!! Service was prompt and everything was fresh late morning. I highly recommend visiting.“
“Having been to Paris...this place brings the pastries...the display, authenticity and overall atmosphere.. ..fantastic....good place for friends to catch up with ease...yes yes yes..great job to the chefs and pastry makers...majority of the staff are polite professional and courteous..the oddball exudes attitude but the rest makes up for it...love this placeKid-friendliness: It's not the place for active kids.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes...wheel on in“
“The bakery items are great. The people working here are also very nice, so that’s always a plus. They try to take care of customers most of the time. Only one recommendation is that not a lot of items are available after 5pm, so inventory can be improved. Other than that, it’s a wonderful place to enjoy coffee and take a break from the hectic day.“
“Located in Queens Crossing, Paris Baguette is one of the larger establishments within the building. I started coming here because my friends used to work part-time during college. Now, it has become one of my favorite Korean bakeries. I used to love their regular iced coffee, and now I'm obsessed with their sweet potato bread.“
“Fantastic paris baguette! It's super cute and usually pretty stocked with all your favorites! Sometimes close to the end of the day they run out but it's understandable being right next to the metro it's pretty popular and usually full. Sometimes hard to get a table. My one other feedback is that there's no bathroom here normally which is a problem because at every other paris baguette they have a bathroom! Otherwise super cute :)Vegetarian options: Mostly vegetarian menu!Dietary restrictions: Labeled menu :)Parking: It's hard to park it's right on continental. Better walk or take the metro.Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly and healthy snacksWheelchair accessibility: Very open for wheelchair maneuverability! ♿️“
“Very friendly service .delicious patés.Key improvement would be to have patés available at all times. 9 times out of 10 they're not ready yet and we have to wait for them to be put in the oven or come out of the oven.Considering the parking is lacking in the neighborhood, it's difficult to keep your car double parked and wait fifteen to twenty minutes each time, even after you've called ahead.“
