Every Friday after work before getting on the train at 71st/Continental Avenue in Forest Hills,I pick up a chicken gyro for myself and a lamb gyro for my husband. King Souvlaki makes the absolute best pita gyros I have ever had!!! My husband first tried them in Astoria; but, we are thrilled to have the Greek on the Street food Carr in Forest Hills near where we live. The Pork Gyro was solid. Chicken Gyro was a little dry. Their special salt & lemon seasoning was undetectable. The pita was really nice, good barbecue char to the base and soft on top. The lamb pita wrap was average at best.
