Have always loved this place. Food arrives quickly and is usually hot and tasty. Lately, i've asked them to use less salt because of my BP diet and they have been very cooperative. I can't say enough good things about them.

Many NYC no-frills Chinese eateries have gravitated towards a heavier ratio of fried rice to the main entree item. Sometime after the pandemic, Golden Fountain's management changed and for some time now the food's gotten better, and the chicken wings are also pretty good, but most combination platter options are very good these days, and the soup and dumplings are pretty well balanced too.
