Royal Pizza is the best in the neighborhood if you’re looking for classic NYC pizza. I always get the large cheese pizza for pickup and have been coming here consistently for years. Also, they’ve been in business since 1977.
Royal Pizza reminds me a lot of the pizzarias I grew up with in NJ. The decor of the restaurant was similar as well with the red booths. The staff were very kind and put their best foot forward near closing time. Their specialty slices were delicious and hold on to the topping very well. The crust is good but I'd prefer it to be a little bit crispier.With that being said you can definitely crisp your crust at home in the oven (which I did) but I won't count this against them.My...read full review

I go here in a pinch. $3.25 per slice is acceptable but their slices are kinda thick and soggy (the way kids like). Everything else is overpriced and service is pretty slow compared to what you expect at a pizzeria. It's a convenient location and far from terrible, but I can name at least 3 pizzerias within a 10 minute walk that are miles ahead.
