“The food was delicious, I just wish there was more of a variety. I got the Blackened Beef Tenderloin tips which tasted good but should have had more meat, most of the plate was mashed potatoes. There should be more beef options for dinner, ie: ribeye, prime rib, NY strip steak, short ribs, etc. The service was okay, a little slow. I ordered sparkling water and it came in a bottle with no glass, which was kind of odd. I had to request a glass and then the glass she gave me was tiny. It was crowded in there and a little loud, tables are too close together.“

This place is all about positive vibes, fantastic service, and reasonable pricing. Now, they do have a note on the menu that pricing is subject to change, and sure, sometimes the menu isn't always updated right on the dot. But let’s be real: the value you get more than makes up for a minor price tweak here and there. I’ve had them cater events for me multiple times and it's been flawless. No shams, just an honest, fantastic spot.“

“I've been twice now (once for a girls night on Monday trivia and a second for a late dinner). Every time, the staff is so friendly and upbeat, atmosphere is calm and relaxing. Food is 10/10! And those monster, over the top milkshakes... Yum! Definitely recommend going but bring an appetite because you will want to try it all! P.s. if you get the sweet potato fries/tots, ask for a side or drizzle of hot honey on them!“

All that ordered meat sauce did not have any when we got home. I was crushed. Good thing I have a much love for Bill Gray’s to forgive this huge oversight that really disappointed me.“

They're honey mustard is an excellent and original taste. The food always comes out hot and fresh. “Took my husband and kid for their first time. I have been before but it never disappoints. I love all the fresh veggies on my burger and they just want the meat lol. So they got the double patty with bacon and shack sauce. We got fries to share which were crispy and hot as always. And my son tried the strawberry shake. We were practically the first people there that day, the restaurant was empty that early so we got our meal incredibly fast. And someone came to check on us right as we were finishing up. Overall, couldn't ask for a better first experience for my guys. We will be back 😁“

“Really disappointed in our order tonight. Chicken fingers had a stale chemical taste. Hot meat sauce made my cheeseburger plate inedible as it was strikingly hot from previous experiences on plates. Bacon burger also had an odd taste. Not sure what the deal is as this is not the norm for our experience there.“

However, I still enjoy returning to Nick Tahou’s for the classic experience, especially when hosting out-of-town guests. It’s a must-try for anyone looking to get a taste of Rochester's culinary history. Eat up!“

“We've gathered there with friends on two occasions recently. Both times the waitress was very attentive and accommodating - separate checks were no problem at all. We reserved tables ahead of time. Live music was great & the guys could watch the football game while we all chatted! Great selection of beer and wine!! A fun gathering place! We'll def be back!!“

“Ordered delivery the other day and had the manicotti. It wasn’t what I ordered, but mistakes happen, especially with delivery service so no big deal. The food was phenomenal and I will DEFINITELY be dining there again.“

“I love the food here, but it really is never ready... I order an hour before I need it and go in 20 minutes after it says it should be ready and I still wait 30-50 minutes every time. This last time I got food I ordered for pickup at 6:15 and when I got there at 7:00, It was just being put on the shelf.

It is also so cold in there, I swear they always have their air conditioning on 10 degrees. Lol“
