“Went on the first day. Serves was great and food too. Since it was the first day everything wasn’t running all smooth but they tried. The egg tart wasn’t like how I usually have it. It was overcooked in the middle but the crust part was good. Had the chicken feet, rice cake (shrimp and beef), black sesame dessert, fried dough with meat inside, beef tripe, and short ribs. All that was good. I’ll come back to try the rest. Plus they had the bice robot that played music and served us our drinks and food.“

“Great food and easy to order. They have water for free which was nice while waiting. Food was amazing and good drinks. Got the pork belly with miso and one with pork bone broth, the broths were amazing.
The only problem is the sticky tables even though it wasn't a humid day, it was uncomfortable to sit at and felt dirty.

“Fantastic shop! Moved to Rochester a few years ago and been trying to find our "regular" takeout place where everyone has their usual order, etc. like we had at our old place. Very pleased to say #1 is now that shop. This is THE takeout if you are looking for the gold standard "American-style" Chinese. 11/10 and the only place in the city I've found that has savory crab rangoons rather than sweet.

Also portions are absolutely gigantic and the price is easily one of the best in the city. Will probably eat here far more than I should.“

Parking: There is a parking lot outside of the Chinese food place. Enough to get in and get out. Food is delicious. I got pepper steak with fried rice and egg roll. Hubby got fried fish with shrimp fried rice and egg roll. He said he loved his.Try it you won't be disappointed“

“I got qt size (large) fried rice with chicken. It was really good. I would give them 5 stars but their location and lack of parking is very inconvenient. Only 1 car can park at their parking spot. And you have to really maneuver yourself out to get out.“

“I discovered this place on GrubHub recently and have ordered from them several times now. They are officially my new go-to place for Chinese takeout. As a vegetarian, I love that they have a very generous amount of tofu dishes! That can be hard to find with local Chinese restaurants. I have been obsessed with their Kung Pao Tofu combo with white rice and a vegetable egg roll. Everything is delicious, always warm upon delivery, carefully packaged, and so full of flavor. Obviously I can't speak for any of their meat dishes, but if you're vegetarian or you just enjoy tofu, this is the place to go!“

“This is my 2nd review of China Wok, they are just SO GOOD and consistent that I thought they deserved it! I hadn’t visited them since late last summer, and was wondering if it was still THE place to go for Chinese, or if that had changed…Well I’m happy to say that it hasn’t changed, the same people own and run the place, and the food is still GREAT! I usually get the chicken egg foo yung dinner (see photos) and I actually get 2 meals from 1 order because you get SO MUCH FOOD!

“Highlights of the meal were the wonton soup which was the best I've ever had with huge homemade wontons and flavorful broth that was too salty. I also enjoyed the cheese filled wontons. They were nicely fried, did not taste like old oil, and had a good amount of sweet creamy filling. These were actually better than the ones I had gotten from another location recently. The rice was ok. The pork lo mein had a decent amount of pork. The noodles were a little thin and dry, but still good. I also loved the free chinese fried noodles that were big and homemade.“

We got the scallion pancake as an appetizer which was decent, good but nothing special. If you can handle spice, I highly recommend the Mala rice noodle with sliced beef, 10/10. We also got the tonkatsu ramen, which apparently is their most ordered dish, but I think there's other better dishes to try. I will be back to try more!“

Reminds me of the delicious food in the cafeteria in high school?The beef stir-fried with onions is as sweet as honey, the stir-fried vegetables are even softer and tender, and the sweet thickening is delivered directly. I chose the pay cash option after trying a Venmo debit Mastercard and a regular Mastercard, which got a popup saying the type of card I was using was not accepted. Don't know if that might have just been a system glitch. Pu Pu platter and moo shu pork were ordered. In the comment section of the order I asked for hot and spicy moo shu, which they did.“

“Food is delicious! Only Chinese place I've found where you can get a meal combo with your main and low-mein instead of rice. I ordered online. Food was ready fast, was super hot when I picked it up, and stayed hot on the way home. There's enough food for 2-3 meals in one combo. Pork egg rolls are great!
