We had dinner her recently and were very happy with our entrees. My spouse had orange beef which had more orange flavor than most restaurants we frequent. I had Shrimp Pad Thai that was also very good, However somehow they were out of cucumber salad! We ate at the talieend of the traditional dinner hour (7:30) and the restaurant was not crowded but it took a long time to get out drink order - we could see it sitting up on the bar for over 5 minutes. We are frequent diners at the Red Sun for both lunch and dinner. This past weekend we tooks friends there for dinner who had never been to the Red Sun. First of all the atmosphere is great, warm and inviting. The staff, always attentive, polite and helpful. Most importantly, the food. We have NEVER had a disappointing meal at Red Sun. Food good. Not great. What took me by surprise was the lack of basics. Usually in a Chinese restaurant one would receive tea and at least a fortune cookie. No where to be seen. Requested a side of fried rice to be added to the order. No fried rice side, only the entree. Moving on, service good and prompt.
