“Stopped by here on the way home from URMC. I ordered the gyro pita for takeoutIt was very tasty and more authentic than other restaurants that serve Mediterranean food. i recommend asking for the tzastiki sauce on the side since pita sandwich was a little messy.I got my order in less than 10 minutes and the price was reasonable. They have an extensive menu of Mediterranean and Syrian cuisine. Parking lot is small but food is worth it. Counter service and food is brought to your table if you are dining in. I will return.“
“We "ate in" at this small but bustling restaurant. it appears that many of the orders were to-go. The food was freshly prepared and quickly delivered To our table, the three men behind the counter were extremely busy, preparing food and taking orders. My husband had the vegetarian platter and I had the dolma platter both served with huge fluffy pita bread. The pita bread is one of the best I've had. my Dolma platter, came with a small Greek salad, and a little scoop of hummus. The dolma were very good as they were spiced. There was a drink case, but not much of a variety of drinks. However, they did have some exotic ones. There was also baklava and takeout containers. I think they should use reusable tableware when you're dining in instead of a packet of small plastic utensils, so I think they are really a to go operation. The food was served on dinner plates so they must have a way of washing things. This is a good stop for a quick meal or a takeout.“

“Very nice. No wait for seating at supper time. Food was delicious and people were friendly and helpful. The price was also reasonable. This was on Wednesday night I believe. The only problem with Jines is that you need to give yourself extra time to either find street parking. It might be an issue for those with mobility issues or in bad weather as sidewalks aren't always plowed. I guess you can also park in the parking lot a little ways down from Jines. I think it used to be a grocery store or laundromat parking lot. It is free forJines patrons but you need to get your validation ticket before you put money in the self serve money slot. Otherwise it might be a hassle to get the money back as there is no one site. And if you skip payment without the ticket you risk getting towed.“

“I was at Mayo Clinic in Rochester and an employee recommended Cedar Taste Mediterranean on the Skywalk. She was raving about the freshness of the food and I must agree. I had the Mediterranean sampler and it was so tasty. Warm pita, homemade falafel, homemade hummus, baba ganoush, and a deliciously fresh salad. I had a side of fresh baklava. Needless to say I could not finish it all! The owners, Sam and Maggie were thoughtful and charming. I will definitely return when I am in the area.“
“This was our first visit and it was fabulous. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and just nice to chat with. Our server, Kathryn, was awesome!! Love her. I had the moussaka and it was wonderful. Great flavor! Hubby had the wolf fish/scallop special. Again, delish. Cocktails were great and we got desserts to go. “Really chunky pieces of meat that were well-seasoned and tasted great with the hummus. However, some of the pieces tasted/felt a bit undercooked in the middle despite the order taking awhile to be completed. The portions were decently sized.“
“This place consistently does not disappoint. Inside you’ll find an unassuming counter line similar to a Chipotle, but this punches way above its weight. The decor is unique and the patio is lovely. Served on tableware with friendly staff. The food is absolutely outstanding. Easily one of the best restaurants of its kind anywhere we’ve travelled. Everything is super fresh and flavorful. We’re not sure what they do differently about their baba, but it is to die for. Their Veggie Sampler is a go-to favorite. Today we also tried the portobello pitza which had nice chunks of olive, onion, tomato, a vinegar reduction, and cheese with a lovely pull to it. We’ve yet to have a single item at this restaurant that wasn’t described as “outstanding” or “among the best we’ve had” for whatever the dish. Our only regret is that we didn’t try it until February 2023.“
“We love it here. We have gone several times and always have great service and yummy food. Yesterday there was a little bit of a mix up and our food took over an hour to arrive but the server recognized the error and credited half our bill and then when we were checking out the owner insisted on giving us a gift card for our next visit. I just want to say how I was impressed with the credit on the bill but to then offer an additional gift card went above and beyond. We will definitely be coming back. Everyone makes mistakes once in awhile and it spoke volumes that they owned it, apologized and made it more than right! Kudos to the entire staff here!!!“
“I am embarrassed to say that I have never been in pita pit and they have been here in Rochester forever. I was pleasantly surprised to see such a nice CLEAN store! (Henrietta location) Everything shines in there! We recently ate inside at Chipotle nearby and NEVER AGAIN it was filthy. The food here is fresh and delicious and the service was speedy and friendly. “I went here at the recommendation of a friend and wow, this is one of my new favorite places to eat. The restaurant was clean, the woman working the counter was friendly. We got the chicken shish gyros and the hummus appetizer. Everything was delicious beyond measure. I seriously was almost brought to tears. The prices were not bad at all either and the wait was short. I WILL be back. It's conveniently located near several other businesses I frequent so I'm happy to have finally tried this place. I highly recommend them.“
“Back when I was a student in Henrietta, in the late 80s, I was a server at another restaurant. When I had a Sunday off, I'd drag my bf to Aladdin's. We would eat everything we ordered, plus dessert. I moved away, all along the east coast, and then Midwest to Chi. Then I moved back to care for my mother. The best part of this experience is in WNY is revisiting this restaurant, via takeout. As a caregiver, takeout is a lifeline. The lentil soup is still great. The chicken pita roll is just as wonderful. The vegetarian combo is amazing, and you get your money's worth with the gyro plate. My only regret is not being able to eat at Aladdin's every few days. I'm in Niagara County, and they are in Monroe. This is not 5 stars for ambience or a Michelin star recommendation. It's 5 stars for continuity, quality, and reliability. Everything on their menu is delicious. I've tried it all! It's part of who I am. Thank you ever so much, Aladdin's - I truly appreciate you all.
