“We drive 45 minutes for dinner every couple of weeks or as often as we can and it’s always worth it. There’s nothing bad on the menu. The wings are our favorite, the chicken salad is my 7 year old daughter’s go to. the subs, the cheeseburger plates, the pizza, all the condiments and sauces-just try it all. Do not forget the chocolate chip cookies either!“

Took 15 minutes for a waitress to even acknowledge us even though there was at least 3-4 that we saw wandering around. I ordered a half cheese, half peppers and onions large pizza for a family birthday and it came out smelling exactly like the pizza my mom used to make when we were kids.

Everyone who works there clearly has decades of history between them, communicating in quick glances, jokes about family members, and sharing a warmth that you can only get in a place that is doing something well. Definitely want to try more of their specialty menu at some point and will be back for more.“

“Visited Strangebird today. And the atmosphere is great! Full service bar. Or tables available for larger groups. The food amazing. Our bartender Dee was epic!! Had the smoked pork sandwich with coleslaw on it. A phenomenal pairing Tried the bbq spaghetti which nearly blew me outta my seat!!! The bbq sauce was epic! @strangebird you need to shrink the size of the bbq spaghetti to a fries size and server them with the handhelds in place of French fries with that bbq sauce. Cuz heck yes! That bbq sauce on the side as a dipper 🤩🤩🤩. Great job to the staff. Bigger vehicles might wanna park on the street. If it’s busy, the parking lot is very narrow.“

“This was our first time enjoying a meal from this restaurant. I ordered the gramm burger with grilled vegetables and my husband, Mike had the duffy burger with the rosemary garlic fries. I also got a small side of sweet potato fries dusted with cinnamon with a side of honey. The hamburger's were cooked to our liking, the grilled vegetables were delicious, but the thick sweet potato fries were amazing!!😍😍 We did take out, but the interior is warm with an artisan flair. We will definitely eat here again with friends.“

“I need to make you aware of a wonderful diamond in the rough on Rochester’s west side. My wife and I visited this quaint Lower Manhattan style eatery with my brother-in-law and his wife. This unassuming place from the outside pleasantly surprises once you enter with its quaint bar area, blacked out ceiling and twin open kitchen stations. First litmus test is the quality of bread with a full complement of spices to prep your own dipping oil. Check! Special of the day, Seared Halibut on a bed of risotto, didn’t disappoint, nor did my samples of homemade Rigatoni à la Bolognese (just like Mom’s Sunday sauce) or the Chicken Milanese! Completed the meal with an ample slice of homemade Ricotta Cheesecake with Berry Compote. The owner checked in with us several times. The table service was perfect. The glass enclosed wine cellar in the middle of the dining area completed an impressive ambience and dining experience. Run don’t walk to this most pleasant gastro treat!“

“I ordered the Buffalo Bills pizza for the playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. First off, they contacted me when the game was rescheduled and offered accommodations so that I could get the pizza and bake it myself as they weren’t open on Monday when the game would be played. THEN called back again to let me know they were going to open on Monday after all and scheduled a time for me to pick up my pizza. Awesome customer service and only outdone by the delicious pizza!! It was decorated so beautifully, was set up perfect with large tables and offered ample space for socializing! The buffet was delicious and offered many options. They also provided us a gluten free dish for one of our guests! Nicole was amazing in serving our guests, making sure everything was taken care of timely and was fantastic to work with (which was all done over the phone). You have donated pizzas all over the community, but just today, I learned you will be donating pizza to our children at St. Kateri for their last Field day of the school's existence! Typically the children would be given hot dogs, watermelon, and freeze pops, but we were told this year there was no money to do so...as many already know, the school is closing down for good (as St. Kateri that is). It will become Chesterton Academy, and our loving school community is officially disbanded at the end of this school year, all needing to find new homes...children and teachers alike! When we learned that yet one more tradition was coming to an end, you swooped in and came through for our children. Just received an email that you will be providing pizza for our kids on their Field Day this Wednesday. THANK YOU!!!!!! We are barely holding it together as we watch our children enjoy their school for the last time these next 6 school days, and this is at least one bright spot we can be thankful for in such a sorrowful time!!!“

“Late night arrival into Rochester on a Tuesday evening and I chanced upon Branca Midtown via Resy. We took a chance and I am so so glad we did. This place was divine. The host and the servers were impeccable. Sassy, funny, and attentive to a T, we were incredibly impressed and immediately relaxed with the atmosphere and the people. The ricotta appetizer was incredibly and reminded me of a favorite dish in Florence Italy, and the swordfish was perfection. Drinks were delicious, so thank you to the obviously talented bartender, as those were very much needed after our long drive. We will definitely make a point of stopping back then next time we are in town.“
