“This is the sister restaurant to Cafe Alaia, just up the street. Vincenzo Alaia keep a close watch on both venues and sees to it that they adhere to the same high standards. The food here is superb (there's a new chef from Italy who is even better than his predecessor) and though the wait staff (in the absence of the wonderful Cesar) is a bit green and easily overwhelmed, it's still a very satisfying place to spend an evening. Great food, a little overpriced, in a warm and inviting atmosphere.“

“I attended a surprise party this Saturday evening. The cuisine was preselected, waiter service was excellent, should receive raises. The table arrangement was very poor. The party was downstairs in one of the private rooms. We were 25 people at one very long table, basically the length of the room, which made it difficult for guests to get around the seated persons at the head of the table on either side. Having two tables would have been a better arrangement, but one long table was not conducive for conversation since we were so far from the other end of the table. The food; not many complaints, I really didn’t have a problem. I didn’t have a lot of food, but it was delicious. The dessert, sorry not very good. Those Famous Crepes(palacinkes) sorry not that great. A lot of crepe and not a lot of filling. The dish was served with fruit, unfortunately this fruit was not in season, so the watermelon although it added color to the dish, upon tasting it, left much to be desired. Why not serve fruit that is in season? No offense to my party hosts who selected my menu for the evening, it didn’t lend itself to the 5 Star Reputation of Dubrovnik’s. I would like to make reservations and splurge on a dinner on my own, I have a feeling I would LOVE the experience! Btw, another plus was the parking!“

“First time visiting office in this building because of work - by the time I made it downstairs for lunch the cafeteria was already closed so I ended placing an order for take out at this restaurant.First of all, it looks very nice, perfect maybe to go with a group of friends, relatives or co workersEven if the place was empty when I entered, with only one couple at a table (it was after 3:00pm) they kitchen was still open.I ordered a chicken gyro, just because I really wanted to have a sandwich that day ? It came with two sauces and fries - I liked everything except the chicken (maybe the flavor Im not sure what exactly I disliked, just not my type of chicken)Other than that, they fries were really good, the veggies very fresh, the sauces really good too ??I will definitely visit again to try some other dishes and to take pictures of the place :)“

“We tried the Zinger & Hella Juicy burgers, Fries with Garlic sauce and Spicy Fries. We were amazed with the quantity and quality of food.Topped it up with Fried Orio ice cream, again absolutely on spot.It is a small takeout place with a 10 seating spots. After tasting the food I wasn’t surprised to find that the owner is a five star banquet chef with very high aspirations.“

“Great meal before a show at Tarrytown Music Hall! Excellent service! Fresh and delicious food. We ordered shawarma sandwich, amazing and hummus with falafel! It was the best falafel I have ever had. Light, crispy outside, fresh served on creamy hummus with a piece of fresh, hot & soft pita bread. We even ordered more falafel! The prices are great as well. We will definitely be back!“

“We had a magical night at Meraki Taverna with friends. We were greeted with enthusiasm and seated where we could watch the kitchen. The waitstaff made us feel welcomed and offered great advice for our dinner and drink orders. We had the octopus and artichoke apps, which were delicious. Lamb stew, sardines and chicken kabob entrees with walnut cake and custard in phyllo dough for dessert. Everything was perfect and we felt like we were in an authentic Greek taverna for the evening. The owner and wait staff are gracious and kind. Can’t wait to go back!“

“Go here immediately. Everything we had was delicious! Classic Mediterranean with a modern twist. Service is delightful and shop is sweet. Byrek (tried both spinach and cheese) are best I’ve ever had. Greek(ish) salad is so good with the figs. Carrot soup also amazing. Very happy to discover this place (its a little hard to find even though it’s next to Trader Joe’s)Kid-friendliness: Came with our baby and breast fed her here (owner said no problem when we asked)“

“We had a wonderful experience having our post-wedding brunch at Mint Premium Foods! We worked closely with Alberta, who created a beautiful, personalized menu with our food and drink selections. The owners stayed on site during the event and were very detailed oriented. Ben and the waiters were attentive and responsive to our requests and even helped move tables so friends could sit together. Alberta played soft background music from the bride's culture to add to the atmosphere. The overall vibe of mint is unique and you feel like you're at a shop/restaurant in the Mediterranean with it displays of gourmet cheeses, olives and bottles of wine. The food at Mint is absolutely delicious, plentiful, perfectly cooked and attractively presented! For our customized brunch, we had four courses: For appetizers, we had family style cheese & charcuterie boards and calamari, followed by individual choice of specialty salad, individual main course and family style desserts (Baklava, Pannacotta, Bread Pudding, Creme Brulee). Everyone raved about the food, from the outstanding cheeses to the Wagyu meat burgers, sandwiches, salads, Moroccan chicken, risotto, etc. We highly recommend Mint for a meal or a place to host a special event!“

“Vegetarian options: Not a vegetarian myself I love my meats. Went here 3 or 4 times before even realizing it was vegetarian which to me was all the convincing I needed that they have some amazing foods. Nothing felt like it was lacking at all.“

“A great homy place with good eats. The souvlaki was nicely charred, bronzini was so fresh, the dessert were a hit and you must try the cheese flambé. Super friendly family run place that makes you feel like you are part of the family. The decor could use an update but there is a certain charm to it.“

“I can’t say enough good things about Modern on the Rails for my daughter’s bridal shower brunch. I had great feedback on the venue and the delicious food. The staff was attentive and so helpful, my guest’s drinks as well as the buffet selections were constantly filled. The atmosphere is unique and so pretty with exposed brick and beautiful chandeliers. I. borrowed their cart to do a bouquet bar that turned out to be a hit with everyone. The shower was everything the bride to be had hoped for. Thank you to Lori, John, Julianna and Kevin for making this an stress-free, perfect day for us.“

“Attractive Moraccan restaurant. Food interesting and well-prepared. Attractive, tasty "Argana Flavors" appetizer. Servers were well-meaning but somewhat disorganized (for instance, they took our drink and food orders on their tablets but the drink order never made it to, or was ignored by the owner who doubled as the bartender; I had to tell him we'd placed our drink orders as he was walking around the tables, he then asked me what we wanted. As I said, disorganized.) I'll still return for dinner, though.“

“Love the beehive. Came here for brunch with my mom and fiance. Luckily we got in without a reservation because they usually are very busy. All their food is awesome and different but I especially love their omelets and French toast. They make a fresh toast crusted in corn flakes. SO GOOD!!! This time we tried the basket of assorted bakes good. Omg so good idk why we never tired before!“

“Came back a week later to bring my husband he was super impressed. He's a hard one to please as he is really picky about his chicken parm, but he did LOVE it! I already was blown away by the food, and we haven't even had dessert yet. Ready to come back for more!“

“Great food. The Plain Tart yogurt is second to none. You can't find that kind of quality tart yogurt anywhere else. I literally came from work in the Bronx straight to Mamaroneck to pick up a Quart of the Plain Tart. They make it in-house, and its consistently a top quality product. I would highly recommend Esy Kafe.“

“Chef Anthony Gonҫalves has done it again! Every single time I dine at Kanopi I am delightfully surprised by his creative, original and delectable dishes that pay tribute to Portugal. Add to that a wait staff second to none in terms of knowledge, generosity and personality, and breathtaking, sweeping views from over 40 floors high in the sky, and you can clearly see why this is my favorite tasting menu in all of Westchester. I’ve had a more pleasurable dining experience at Kanopi than at some of the many Michelin rated restaurants I’ve visited in the New York City. The last time I visited was in the summer so I was excited to sample the entirely new menu. I will admit that with my carb restricted diet, I am a sucker for good bread service that is worth the carb macros. We started with two types of broa, a kind of Portuguese corn bread that had fantastic density and flavor that really handled the bold flavor of the solar almeidnha olive oil. The purple broa was made with purple potatoes. It was beautiful in color and lighter in flavor. Both were grilled and the perfect warm greeting to start a fabulous meal. The pan seared scallop with citrus-quince marmalade and mondega piri piri oil was the perfect texture, soft and succulent, with a nice crisp on the outside from the caramelized marmalade. The piri piri oil is such a fantastic addition to the dish, being a touch spicy, a little salty, but also both sweet and sour. It really brings a nice complexity to a dish that could’ve easily been relegated to the single note of sweetness from the marmalade. The sea bass, marinated in an aguardente, soy, ginger and garlic marinade, was my date’s favorite dish. The fish was firm but flaked easily and really served the marinade well. The game changer, however, was the pureed fava beans with chourico! The chourico brought the spice to really liven up the dish, but was tempered by the earthiness of the fava bean puree, which added a very nice creamy, mouth feel juxtaposed against the texture of the fish.My favorite of the night (by the way, very hard to decide on a favorite), was the grilled octopus. It was cooked to the perfect consistency. The gorgeous burnt-orange colored romesco sauce brought a rich, peppery smokiness. The unexpected pairing with dried, crispy pata negra was genius. The salt and light fat, similar to an impeccably crisped high-end bacon, gave the dish even more interest and intricacy. The whole wheat creste di gallo pork and wild mushroom ragout was another surprise. Cooked in pork fat, without any pork in the dish, the pasta was surprisingly light for a ragout. The robust aroma and dense mushrooms gave the illusion of a hearty, heavy food but it wasn’t at all! Which is good, because there was still a beef dish and three more desserts to go!I’ll skip to my two favorite desserts. One of the most unique combinations I’ve had for dessert was the queijo, a mini seia cheese cake floating in bath of pretty pink pineapple foam with chunks of pink pineapple and pecans hidden in the foam. It could have easily been too sweet, but the pineapple had a touch of tartness, and the richness of the cheese plus the nutty flavor of the pecans cut the sweetness, and made a really lovely multifaceted dessert. My favorite treat however, has to be the bolo de bolacha. This is the stuff dreams are made of. Fantastically rich and sweet, the caramel colored almond cream was fashioned into the shape of golden oreo cookie (it was even imprinted and ridged with a design similar to an oreo cookie). I had to stop myself from licking the plate to get every last molecule of deliciousness! It was paired with delta cafes coffee ice cream and cookies.Clearly, I could go on and on about this phenomenal dining experience, but seeing how lengthy this is already I’ll stop here and suffice it to say this spot has one of my highest recommendations. I’ll be counting down the days until my next visit.“

“I really enjoyed my [Salad & Chicken wrap] at Cava - it was amazing! The food definitely has potential. However, the atmosphere felt a bit too fast-foody for me. While I appreciate the quick service, I think a slightly more relaxed ambiance, similar to Chipotle or Habit Burger (my other favorite chains), would make the dining experience even better.“

“Good place located across the street from Iona. I tried it for a late lunch. Food was excellent and service was very good. Nice atmosphere with an "upscale diner" type feel - classy but not overdone. Prices were fair and food was much better than diner style. Parking in back of restaurant was a plus. I definitely will be going back !“
“My wife and I ate at this restaurant a couple of days ago with friends. The restaurant is self serve and you pay at the counter. My wife had a slice of pizza with tomatoes and onions, I had the eggplant parmesan and fried breaded cauliflower and we shared a leafy put together yourself salad and vegetarian sushi. The food was excellent, very tasty and filling. The atmosphere was what you'd expect from a self serve midtown/downtown business lunch place--not a place to take a romantic first date that you want to impress--but we'd highly recommend this restaurant if you want some quick great food at a reasonable price.“

“This is the third time we take our food at Fez. Before this we tried meze sampler, baba gannoush and chicken wrap. The food here is very tasty and the portions are quite big. A few days ago we also went to the store itself, there are a lot of interesting products and a great selection of oriental sweets. I am definitely happy with this find and we will go back there more than once. I also absolutely recommend a visit.“

“Loved this spot for Lunch !!! We popped in yesterday and the food was very good. We were met with a very friendly waitress who sat us done right away. It's a casual small spot in New Rochelle accommodating a few tables and take out service. We enjoyed the small bites and grilled octopus which were very tasty. For a main they split a chicken souvlaki for us between my husband and I. Portion size was just right. Food was great !!! We usually order from them to go but had an even better experience dining in. A must stop to eat !“

“Really is 5 Stars. I have been here several times and every time you leave with a smile and talking about the food. The Pappardelle Bolognese, Vitello Martini, Pollo Scarpariello, and of course baked clams. By the way, the broccoli will be the best you ever had. (I know that's a weird call out but you'll understand when you try it) Drinks are great, especially the espresso martini (order it without Bailey's). Service and ambience are what you would expect at a fine dining Italian restaurant...really well done. Not stuffy...just really nice.“

“Although we rarely eat at Turquoise, it is our go-to place for healthy delicious dishes to take out. Chef Mustafa is a master at his preparation of chicken and lamb. Turqoiuse Chicken and a side of Esme are favorite dishes. The TC is consistently tender and flavorful. “Always delicious, I've dined in, ordered through uber eats also called in to pick up and it's always freshly prepared and delicious. I remember being referred to the wine store long ago across the street to grab a bottle to pair with the meal while dining in, I followed that same reference but was surprised that they now serve Sangria, I was given a sample of both the red and the white, both were delicious! This is my go to for Greek no one else is better in Westchester, I've tried them all and I promise you'll love it here.“

“The restaurant was hopping on a Saturday night. It was obvious why-our food was great and our server was very pleasant and fun. The only drawback was the noise level which was quite loud and difficult to hear the people at our table. Perhaps this was because the restaurant was so full of happy energetic diners. Some kind of acoustic mechanism to absorb the noise would be a great addition!“
