The ice cream always taste fresh including the cakes. Hands down the best carvel on long Island. I will only go to Shirley for my ice cream. “Whoever the breakfast chef was on 3/23/24 you really take pride in your cooking. I haven’t had eggs or any of the sides prepared like this in 20 years of dining out. Im 34. The eggs were cooked to perfection. Not a single dry mark on all of the various egg preps requested. Food came out in 12 mins. Friendlys is severely underestimated in this day and age. Our server Janeen was a blessing. Clear and loving. She went out of her way to ensure my son got a surprise birthday candle the day before his birthday.“

“Great little ice cream shop with so many flavors and variety (latte, smoothie, shake, sundae, soft serve and more). They have a few outside tables and benches to enjoy your treat. Prices are reasonable and staff are very friendly. Of course, you can always ask for a taste of their unique flavors. It is off a major road. Just watch your little kids as the driveway is right by the storefront.“

“Patrick is such an amazing employee and so attentive! He literally stopped everything to take care of what I wanted when my ice cream cone fell, instead of saying “too bad” he made me another cone free of charge! Literally I love this store and their employees! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND “

“Always a delight! There are so many toppings and flavors, and fun variations like frozen coffee and smoothies! The owner Bernadette is so sweet (BAD pun intended,) and blends the root beer floats, they're the best ones around! Even when packed on a summer day, she's fast, resilient and patient. They also have plenty of vegan options that are more than generous with the chocolate, not to mention creamy and flavorful (it tricked my whole family too, they didn't know it was dairy free!) The prices are fair and there's something to please everyone. You may not be able to dine there, but it's well worth the wait for wherever you're going to enjoy it!“

“Brilliant! Door dashed to our hotel that was 10 minutes away and got it delivered in 15! However, sizes were very small for the price we payed. Chocolate overload was my favorite flavor. It was delicious with chocolate chips, hunks of brownies, and chocolate swirl all in chocolate ice cream! However, I do not recommend the cherry Italian ice. Unless you like the taste of air fresheners. ‍ over all I would recommend this to anyone.“
